Anyone travelling to Fitzroy Island under 18 years old must be accompanied by an adult.

INCLUDES TRANSFER OPTIONS

  • One Way: Includes a transfer from Cairns to Fitzroy Island. No additional products or tours are included.
  • Round-Trip: A return ticket will be included at double the cost.

  • BOARDING INSTRUCTIONS  

  • Cairns to Fitzroy Island: Please make your way directly to the Fitzroy Flyer to check-in. Guests will be required to provide their booking name to the boat crew prior to boarding the ferry. The Fitzroy Flyer is located at Berth 20 on the Marlin Marina Wharf
  • Fitzroy Island to Cairns: Make your way directly to the jetty at least 15 minutes prior to the transfer departure time.

    • Due to increased workplace health & safety requirements, we can no longer carry oversized luggage (20kg or greater), Eskys, Cooler Boxes & Beach Trollies, Stand Up Paddleboards or Kayaks. Please ensure you pack accordingly.
    • If you have booked a “locals” rate, it is required that each person on the booking presents either a Queensland driver’s license or a proof of age card with a local residential address during check-in. We cannot accept bills, bank statements, pay slips, passports, etc. 
    • Resort Guests using the FITZGUEST promo code must provide their accommodation confirmation number upon booking. This promo code is not valid for the 8am & 5pm transfers. If your discounted booking does not meet the above criteria, Fitzroy Island Resort reserves the right to charge the difference, and refunds will not be issued within 48 hours of your travel date. Discounted rates are only valid for the Fitzroy Flyer.

    LUGGAGE POLICY Passengers are permitted to bring aboard one large suitcase and one carry-on bag per person. Hard Eskys, Cooler Boxes, Stand Up Paddleboards & Sea kayaks are strictly prohibited. Beach Trolleys must be folded and emptied before boarding. Any additional equipment beyond the mentioned allowance will be subject to additional fees. Passengers are responsible for ensuring that their luggage complies with these regulations and understand that failure to do so may result in refusal of carriage or additional charges. ALCOHOL POLICY Fitzroy Island Resort is a licensed venue, and bringing alcohol to the Island is strictly prohibited. Our Food & Beverage Outlets, including Zephyr Restaurant, Foxy’s Bar, and the Pool Bar, offer an extensive menu of alcoholic beverages for purchase, which can be enjoyed on-site. Additionally, we offer a bottle shop service from Foxy’s Bar and have a small general store for basic conveniences. Any alcohol brought to the Island will be confiscated and stored until your departure. It is the responsibility of all passengers to check carefully for any communication from us, as the location of the vessel as well as the check-in process may be affected. Should there be any disruptions, the team at Fitzroy Island will take necessary measures to communicate this information with you. In the rare occasion the Fitzroy Flyer is unable to operate, discounted rates will no longer be valid, and your booking will be subject to additional charges.
