P.S. It’s better to take the motion sickness pill beforehand, as it was definitely bumpy out there and quite some people got seasick.
The boat was spotless, staff were friendly and so knowledgable! Great atmosphere and got to see Humpbacks and Blue Whales - thank you!
The sightings were beautiful. We were glued to the ocean looking for these beautiful creatures to emerge from the waters. Overall, a very memorable experience.
The skipper maneuvered the boat around so everyone had view's when there were whales.
The staff which included a marine biologist shared lots of information about the whales.
The boat was a great size, clean, and in good condition and had great overhead protection so we never got wet, as it rain.
It was a really good experience.
Staff were amazing and very informative.
Learnt a lot about these wonderful creatures.
The marine Biologist on board definitely knew her stuff.
I've been whale watching in Canada/Alaska and Norway with a net sighting of two whales. I gave up counting today's encounters. Lots of blowing and porpoising, fin flapping and a grand finale show of tail slapping. A great trip for half the price of overseas failures.
We had the absolute pleasure of going on a whale watching tour with Naturaliste Charters, and it exceeded all our expectations! From the moment we boarded the vessel, the crew made us feel welcome, safe, and excited for the adventure ahead.
The staff were incredibly knowledgeable, sharing fascinating facts about the whales, their migration patterns, and the local marine ecosystem. You can tell they truly love what they do—and their passion made the experience even more special.
We were lucky enough to see a humpback whales calf and mother being followed by 3 males and tail-slapping right near the boat. The crew was respectful of the whales’ space while still getting us amazing views and photo opportunities.
In terms of value for money, this tour is outstanding. The boat was comfortable and well-equipped, and the whole experience felt thoughtful and professional from start to finish.
Highly recommend Naturaliste Charters if you’re looking for an authentic, awe-inspiring, and educational whale watching tour. We’ll absolutely be back next season!
The whales put on a wonderful show
The staff were friendly and knowledgeable and as I am an amputee they went out of their way to assist me
I will be going again
recommend
Seeing a mum and young calf having a little play as they just cruised their way down the coast was fantastic
The staff Kyle and Emma where amazing answering questions and informing everyone not just about the humpback whales but all the whales that make the voyage up north and back again
A fantastic way to spend the afternoon, being licensed would be even better ????...
Many thanks to the crew
Cheers
The whale’s didn’t disappoint, putting on a spectacular show. We didn’t get a close up of them breaching but they were gliding & tail slapping close to the boat.
In the distance we could see them breaching & it was incredible to see, although too far for a decent camera shot.
The weather was perfect & our two guides Kyle & Jacko were helpful with spotting the whales & making sure were getting the best from our tour.
This is an enjoyable couple of hours observing nature at its best.
Wish we could go back ❤️
But they did it, and we had an absolute brilliant time and saw so many whales in different forms of flight and fin flapping!
They also provide tea and coffee and biscuits inclusive in the price.
The most outstanding team member on the boat was Kyle, he made it for us, as he was so enthusiastic, and funny and really passionate about his job.
We will definitely go out with this company again, next time we are down that way, and truly recommend them if you are thinking of going whale watching in the Dunsborough region.
Thanks for a memorable trip! :-)
Explanation given were very informative (Thank you Ms Pia) and we had a lovely time! The crews are awesome helping us noob spotted the whales!!!
