Great morning spent on the Wanna sand dunes. We had a great morning travelling with Ben in his comfortable 4WD to drive the Wanna track sand dunes. Ben was able to modify the trip to suit our needs. He had a lot of fantastic suggestions for other experiences in Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay as well as some great eating out options. Ben took and shared some wonderful photos. - very professional. Thank you Ben we had a wonderful morning.

Great tour, well worth the experience Great tour - good fun 4WDing on the sand dunes. I felt so safe with Ben driving, he was a knowledgeable guide and took some excellent photos for us as a bonus! We are oldies with mobility issues, but Ben made sure we still had an adventure.

My highlight of my Port Lincoln trip Ben was awesome! He was funny, chatty, and knowledgeable about all the spots he shared with us. The places were spectacular. It’s great to see someone who loves his job, his photography skills an absolute bonus. Great taster of Port Lincoln’s untouched national park. I would highly recommend Ben’s tour.

A must do!! Tour was amazing. Driving on the dunes is a must as is the sand boarding. Great G&T to top it off. Ben was great - very knowledgeable and friendly.

If you only do one trip with a tour guide then the Sunset 4WD in the sand dunes trip is the one This is probably the best tour I have ever been on! Ben from Tour South is the most perfect tour guide. He knows so much about the area, nature, local town businesses, other areas, everything really!
I went on this tour with just my child as my husband was on a working holiday. I wasn’t sure to begin with but after contacting Ben, he reassured me we would be fine.
We were more than fine, we both couldn’t rate this trip higher (and coming from a child that would prefer to do this in a digital world, this is exactly what every parent wants).
We visited secluded beaches, dramatic landscapes, cliffs, caves, look outs! A taste of nature, emus, kangaroos, ospreys, large seagulls, oystercatcher and we were hoping to see a snake in the dunes (like the night before) but not this time. Ben talked to my child about the shells he was picking up and showing him the black sea snails too.
We visited the sand dunes and Ben took amazing pictures for us (this was a first for us, it was very special. If you haven’t done this, you feel like you are in a different world).
We finished on a beach than can only be reached by 4WD or boat, for the most beautiful sunrise, perfection!

Beautiful area but you will have an AMAZING experience with Tour South. Great trip with Ben. He’s very knowledgeable of the area, nature and the townships in Eyre Peninsula.
His 4WD route was within the boundaries and taking care of the beaches and sand dunes as we went along and explaining why (I thought this was very educational and informative for people who may not understand the importance of why we need to look after these areas).
My child paid for a sand board and loved that part (I had a go and have to admit, loved it too)!
It was great to hear about all the local nature and see many species on our trip and the final great was Ben sent us his photographs of the day (much better than ours as he’s a nature photographer)👌

I recently did the Sunset on the Sand Dunes tour with Ben at Tour South. His knowledge of the local country was extensive as was his enthusiasm to share it with us. I got to places I simply couldn’t access in my conventional 2WD vehicle. I recall seeing a sign at the start of the Wanna Sand Dune Access track suggesting only experienced 4WD drivers should proceed. Ben is certainly one of those with his attention to detail. The ride in was exciting. Thank you Ben.

Ben is very knowledgeable of the local nature parks and shows care to the wild life. He stopped his car to moved a sleepy lizard from the gravel road. Highlight of our trip was sand boarding down the sand dunes and lunch by the private beach. Highly recommended to join his tour.

We had the most amazing trips with Ben. We took the Port Lincoln and Coffin Bay National Park day tours, an evening sand dune sunset tour and three-day "watermelon avenue" tour. Ben was an exceptional, fun and knowledgeable tour guide. We had an amazing time!

Ben was amazing throughout and far exceeded our expectations. My mother is elderly, and Ben helped her navigate tricky rock paths to enable her to reach the rock pools.
We saw lots of wild life, beautiful beaches and rock formations. Ben is an accomplished photographer, and we were so grateful to him for the wonderful photos he took.

Awesome! Ben was wonderful, we felt safe, he was respectful and had heaps of local knowledge. He even took photos of my wife and I together on the beach and in the dunes which we couldn’t take. It was such a fun day. We would recommend this tour to anyone.

What an amazing experience! A thrilling 4x4 drive through the Port Lincoln National Park as the sun was going down. We drove to a shelly beach, travelled through the natural vegetation witnessing kangaroos and emus, and stopped to appreciate the rugged ocean coastline. For us, the thrilling new experience was the drive across the sand dunes, even witnessing two emus walking sedately across the sand dune. Apart from being a mine of information about the National Park, Ben is an expert 4x4 driver. Our drive through the sand dunes had its roller coaster moments and we trusted our driver. Ben did not disappoint. It was a cloudy day and just as we had given up on seeing a spectacular sunset, colour broke out through the clouds and was reflected on clouds all around us. Spectacular! This was the highlight of our trip to Eyre Peninsular. Highly recommend it.

Fantastic experience, did a tag along in my 4WD , has given me the confidence to take on a few more challenging drives during my lap of Australia. Thoroughly recommend taking a tour with Ben , it was stretching my bugget and I almost said no, but looking back it was almost priceless.

It was a wonderful experience. We had visited the places with breathtaking views and watched the most unrealistic sunset ever. Ben is such a gem. We had got the best combo of a tour guide with a great photographer. Thanks Ben for this experience. Highly recommended.

Ben is VERY experienced and I had 100% confidence as soon as he took off. This guy knew the road. There are vast distances to travel out this way (KI probably even more so) but the three hour tour was timed pretty well to see the Eyre Peninsula on the eastern side; and to peek at the Marina where all the fishing industry is based. A tad rushed I think. but it'd have to be a four hour tour really to see as much in a more leisurely manner. However this would allow you to tag on a bit more at Port Adelaide itself near town. Photos of the town we are visiting itself are also nice, and they are close to town, so don't add much more distance. Anyway, I'd recommend it. It was a good way to see the town and countryside. -Peter.

Fantastic evening adventure. Ben took us to some great spots. The veiws were stunning. The spot on the beach where we enjoyed the wine and cheese was brilliant. Cloud cover obscured the sunset but that did not dampen the great atmosphere. Highly recommended, worth every cent.

Sunset on the dunes was one of the best tours I've ever experienced. I felt pretty safe the whole time, Ben knows the zone (Lincoln National Park) very well and takes great photos that he shares with you after the tour. Plus he has a lot of valuable and interesting information to share about the place and the wildlife! I'm really glad I choose this company to explore this part of the Eyre Peninsula.

Tour south was amazing. This is owned by Ben and he was the one who took us for our tour. We went for half day tour around Lincoln national park. He was such an amazing guide anyone could ask for. We did sand dunes ride as well with him and I bet he is the most safest and experienced person I have seen. Once again thank you so much Ben for the tour.

We drove our Ford Ranger behind Ben's car for the sunset tour. He made sure we don't get stuck over the sand dunes as it we had limited experience driving over the dunes. He kept in touch throughout radio gave clear instructions and was very helpful. He offered us warm tea and biscuits. There was some walking , spotting wildlife and watching the sunset. Ben is a lovely person and gave us a lot of local and historical information during the tour. I would highly recommend this tour for those who haven't driven over sandunes before. He also took photos to capture our memories throughout the trip
