Best experience ever! Absolutely one of the best experiences ever! We were on the Abrolhos Island 5 day cruise, and were looked after so well from start to finish. The joys of dealing with a small, Australian, local company and their wonderful staff. Please don't ever change.
Massive shout out to Bronson, and Jack, and all the crew who were just amazing; and a particular thanks to the chef on board. He was the only one in all my travels that has ever intentionally taken into account my food intolerance. I was actually a little overwhelmed by this consideration. If I could give it 6 stars, I would!

A must do excursion! If you're visiting Western Australia, this is an incredible cruise. I flew into Perth and two days later, flew to Geraldton, where we were picked up by the cruise company and flew to Long Island where we met the boat. That in itself was a fun adventure. The remaining days were full of magical wonder .snorkeling, fishing, bird life, history of the islands and an incredible bunch of guests. The crew and food were fantastic! This is a must do excursion!!! AND, I left my glasses on the boat and the owner brought them to me at the hotel before we flew out the next morning!!! Yes, we were very much taken care of.

Thanks to Jay, Sonia and the whole Abrohlos team for making our 5-day “Wine and Seafood” cruise so memorable in October 2025. My partner and I had waited 3 years to make the trip over to the Coral Coast, from Melbourne, and we were not disappointed; indeed we loved every minute of the journey, scenery, on-shore excursions, food (thank you Connor 🙏🏼 😋 ), snorkelling (sensational !!!👌), fishing (and lobster pulls) and bar hospitality. Accomodations were super comfortable and the upstairs lounge and bar offered another venue for dining and socialising. In addition, one could equally take advantage of downtime, reading and relaxing. Lucky enough to spend 5 days at the beautiful islands with a lovely group & crew onboard Eco Abrolhos.

- Incredible food - we were well looked after with all meals! There was always fresh salads, lots of fresh seafood options, meat and vege options and cakes for the birthday guests too!
- Well planned itinerary - including stops at the Pearl Farm on Post Office Island, snorkeling and/or fishing excursions to choose from daily, able to watch the crew pull and set pots each day and had the option for beach walks where you learnt a lot about the history at the islands including the Batavia shipwreck, the bird life, the flora&fauna and the fishing days.
- The crew are so professional and considerate - always going about things with a smile on their face and are so hard-working! Almost nothing was too much of an ask from them.
- Cabin was extremely comfortable for us, very clean and plenty of storage room for our belongings

We made some beautiful friends with the guests onboard, and it was such an epic trip filled with things we love to do, lots of good food and stunning scenery. Snorkeling the Batavia site was an unreal item to tick off the bucket list - we won't forget that 🤿 Thanks to Jay, Son, Mitch, Jaynie, Karmony, El, Lulu, Jack, Tom, Ford, Liam, Laura 😍

Amazing tour with nature, history and wonderful scenery - don't miss out on an incredible experience What an amazing opportunity to get up close and personal with nature! And throw in a few shipwrecks (including the incredible Batavia tale), it's the perfect trip! Highly recommended - great knowledgeable and helpful crew (I also did their Kimberley tour which is also incredible), comfortable accommodation (love having an ensuite!), reasonable costs for single supplements (I travelled solo), great food, and of course an amazing itinerary where there are at least 2 excursions per day so explore the islands and reefs (and fishing if that's your thing). Do this - you'll have a unique experience!

A mush do cruise, not to be missed This is a must do cruise, particularly if you, like wildlife, sea life, birds, and good food. Add to that great staff who look after your every need. Snorkelling, glass bottom boating, fishing , cray potting, and watching sunsets are all amongst the possibilities during this cruise. You will come away with knowledge of the checkered ship wreck history and an understanding of the cray fishing industry past and present on the Abrolhos Islands. I highly recommend this cruise and complement the management and their staff for the professional way in which they engage with the guests and do everything possible to ensure you have an enjoyable cruise.

The weather was fantastic – blue skies and mirror-like seas. The mother ship was very spacious, spotless and extremely well equipped with all that you would need, including the upper deck for yoga and some gym equipment. The tenders were all well maintained and also spacious for small groups. The staff were most helpful, very hard working, and looked after our every need with a smile and very cheerful attitude. The food was to die for, and varied every day and night. We had a great selection of delicious nibbles on tap every day, so forget the waistline problems you may have. The bar was well stocked and bar staff friendly and attentive. Every day we were advised of the day’s itinerary, with options available for variations to cater for fitness limitations and plenty of time for questions. Boarding the tenders and climbing back on board was a breeze and well organised.
The scenery was spectacular and nothing like that I have ever seen before, massive rock formations plunging into the seas, whilst the menacing crocodiles were in attendance constantly. Unforgettable memories of the Mitchell Waterfalls, Montgomery reef, the breathtaking Horizontal Falls excursions, the bird life being abundant and a few sightings of the rare Kimberley Rock Wallabies meant that the camera really got a workout. The fishing was fantastic, the end result equaling five delicious cooked variations presented to the group.
The aboriginal rock art was breathtaking. A large variety of art, dating back thousands of years was totally accessible on many locations, with detailed explanations from our very informative guides. We had plenty of time for photographs and any queries that we may have had.
The crew worked enthusiastically as team and shared their extensive knowledge of the area and wildlife at all times, but especially on the escorted excursions. Every evening we had a debrief of the day’s activities and a briefing for the following days program. Safety was emphasized, especially crocodile awareness and tender protocol.

A unique opportunity to explore a pristine environment A truly amazing trip around the northern Kimberley coastline. This was an opportunity to experience a pristine part of Australia; to be awed by the history and prehistory. A small boat experience like no other. Each day we were exposed to awe inspiring nature; turquoise clear waters on the coastline and in the rivers; crocodiles, turtles, mudhoppers, crabs At the same time experiencing cliffs, waterfalls and caves representing aeons. Alongside this, reminders of peoples who were able to use and protect this environment.
The boat was small enough to provide unapparelled access to rivers and tributaries, as well as being large enough for everyone to have space. The king cabin that we had was spacious and comfortable and kept clean and tidy by the wonderful housekeeping staff. Food was plentiful and of a great standard; particularly valued by me as a vegetarian. The 9 staff worked tirelessly and were personable, friendly and knowledgeable.
Whilst not inexpensive, this trip is organised to ensure that the land and its past and present are kept front and central to its purpose, whilst ensuring passengers have both access and comfort to enjoy it.

This was a 5star trip in every way! WE were the only Americans and everyone made us feel right at home!! Highly r ecomme 5 star review! Highly recommended! Professional staff, great food, good excursions off the boat!
We had a wonderful time

We just had the fantastic experience of a 13 night Wyndham to Broome Kimberley cruise with Eco Abrolhos. From the moment we were picked up in Kununurra it was obvious it was a professional operation. As we were transferred from Wyndham wharf you just knew they were on the ball. Our cabin, 16, was much more spacious than we imagined. The vessel and the trip were well explained and the staff were very attentive. The cruise is just difficult to describe as it is just too beautiful, the Kimberley is a wonderful part of the world that you just need to see. The excursions were well organised and edgy enough to be a talking point every night over the great food. Special mention of the hostesses Eloise and April who made sure everyone was well looked after. They were delightful young women! The excursion crew were on the ball and the commentary was spot on, Twoey, Mitch, Laura and Kale were great fun. Skipper Liam and first mate Jay were totally professional ( though Lisa did a pretty good version of Liam 😂). I personally enjoyed the opportunity to have a fish and there was no shortage of bites and fish was on the menu regularly, great knife work Jay!
We had great company with the mix of passengers from all parts of Australia. This is small boat cruising at its best, you get to places the big boats don’t. Put Eco Abrolhos on your to do list, we are talking about a trip next year with them to the Abrolhos islands!

Amazing and unforgettable trip from Wyndham to Broome with the EcoAbrolhos. This trip was all I had hoped for and more. I can't thank the staff of the EcoAbrolhos enough for the incredible time that they gave us. I couldn't fault a thing about this trip. If you are looking for a relaxed vibe, then this is it. The scenery was just so incredibly beautiful and so different in each place we visited. I loved that it was a small group, we had 29 passengers on the boat. All the staff were local to WA except for one which made it quintessentially Australian. They were an extremely hardworking and cohesive group with lots of local knowledge - and heaps of fun. The tenders could fit us all in if we were going out for an excursion, which was great that we didn't have to wait around. The food was exceptionally good. Em is an amazing chef. There were plenty on the boat that wanted to fish, so we had quite a few fishing and crabbing trips included and if you didn't want to fish you could join a scenic. We were taken on walks and swims in remote places where we hardly saw any other people. There was lots of rock art sites to visit, gorgeous waterfalls, amazing rivers with incredible geological formations, including a bit of Australian history that I didn't know about. Actually it wasn't until when we were nearing Broome that we begun to see a few of the other boats. I think leaving from Wyndham rather than Darwin gave us the extra time to explore more of the inlets and bays. We even saw a baby whale breaching early one morning when we were cruising which topped off the cruise for me. One of the best trips I've ever had in a group setting. Thanks EcoAbrolos.

Sensational Thank you Eco Abrolhos for a holiday of a lifetime. An amazing crew, delicious food, awesome daily adventures, great fishing, fun entertainment and having our laundry done were just some of the highlights. I would highly recommend this cruise for its spectacular scenery but it was enhanced by the fact that the crew had local knowledge of tides and local fishing spots .adding fresh oysters and mud crabs to the already delicious menu. I will stop now before I write a book .. just loved everything about this family run cruise!!

The Kimberley Delivers Thanks To Eco Abrolhos We have just experienced a stunning fortnight exploring the Kimberley Coast from Wyndham to Broome. It is literally an untouched wilderness coast with beautiful waterfalls, towering cliffs and so much to see. We were in outstanding hands with the Eco Abrolhos Company and their passionate guides who make the maximum use of their purpose built tenders to explore, fish, crab and to lap up the landscape. The robust tenders are a key advantage for Eco Abrolhos as they enable all 32 passengers to easily load, sit in comfort forward facing and zoom to the many fascinating places and activities. It is a unique experience to spend that amount of time with a group without any interaction with the outside world in such a special place.

Excellent in every respect Excellent in every aspect as recommended by word of mouth. The corporate and crew attitude is safety first. The itinerary is well planned and time to make use of tiday variations at the places visited. All excursions excellent. Shoe excursions excellent. Scenic excursions excellent. Fishing and crabbing excursions excellent.
Guests gained weight due to sumpious culinary options at every meal. Anchoages were sheltered due to good access by the relatively shallow draft catamaran. Crew teamwork exellent, it was a pleasure to observe them at work. I would consider this cruise more of an adventure or expedition cruise, rather than a luxury leisure cruise.
The cruise had a full complement of 32 passengers. There are 8 tenders, so all excursions were done in one go, no waiting your turn to go out. Fishing excepted, 4 to a tender.
The only possible negative is that there is some noise, but adjusting to it does not take long. Mainly consists of engine noise when under way, generator noise at other times, and the sound of the anchor chain when weighing or dropping anchor. All guests adjusted to the noise, and there were no complaints.
All guests were happy. At the end of the cruise all guests and crew had a group selfie taken.
May this vessel prosper and continue to offer great experiences to guests for a long time to come.

Staying on the Eco Abrolhos was fantastic. The trip had every richness from the ocean - blue skies, crystal clear water, fishing, snorkelling, history, crayfish, pearls, coral beaches, and wildlife. Jay and his staff are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. With good humour, they accommodate guests' needs and fitness levels. Emily, the on-board chef, provided delicious healthy food, including the fish and crays caught the previous day. Each day, we could choose to fish, walk, snorkel or simply hang out on the boat's deck. Stargazing with Donna was fun and informative. I recommend Eco Abrolhos to anyone looking for a small group tour, adventure and history in a stunningly beautiful location.

Everyday was a new and exciting adventure during our 5 day cruise on the Eco Abrolhos.
All daily activities and tours were optional and we took advantage of the opportunities offered to experience as much as possible of the beautiful Abrolhos Islands; including shipwrecks, snorkelling , glass bottom boat, island walks, fishing, cray pot pulling, wildlife spotting. The Captain and crew are a tight knit hard working team who obviously enjoy their roles and freely share stories and expert knowledge, always with patience and time for any questions we had. Our safety and our enjoyment of the cruise were always their first priority The boat is very comfortable and the perfect size for a small group tour, but large enough to find a quiet spot if needed. We enjoyed meeting all our fellow guests and getting to know them socially. The chef made delicious meals and there was always plenty for everyone.
We are very happy we took the opportunity to experience the natural beauty of the Abrolhos Islands with Eco Abrolhos Cruises.

Would highly recommend We were reticent to book this trip because of the cost but are so glad we did book and go. The staff were amazing, food was as good as anywhere and the history and information we were given was an added bonus. We went on the history trip. We could see where the cost was. I have limited mobility but other than the island walks was able to do most things. Everyone was just so helpful and couldn't believe how the staff all just pulled together and helped without being asked. All so well organised.
The rooms were comfortable and lovely hot showers, toilet worked well and the bed was comfortable.

Best holiday in WA The quality of this cruise was more than I expected. Bravo to a fantastic crew who worked together well as a team and cared for us perfectly. The food was amazing as was the history.

Well organised with wonderful flight (small plane) to East Wallaby Island followed by excellent cruise on the Eco Abrolhos. Multiple options on trip including fishing, snorkelling, glass bottom boat and island ventures. Excellent attentive crew led by skipper Bronson and supplemented by local historian/expert Howard Gray, whose knowledge of the area is unparalleled. Excellent facilities on the capacious boat, including food and beverages. Safety a priority at all times. Highly recommend this trip which was seamlessly organised by the company.

Abrolhos islands 5 day cruise Went on the 5 day WA seafood and wine tasting tour. We were lucky to have good weather, but apart from that, it was overall an amazing experience. The snorkelling was sensational, beautiful fish and coral at every stop, fishing was incredible, expert guide and assistance, nature and history walks on the islands fascinating. Meals on board were gourmet prepared to perfection by hard working chef and helpers. All guides and staff on board were incredible; friendly, knowledgable, caring, attentive, couldn't do enough to ensure all guests were catered to in spite of a variety of ages and capabilities. Can't speak highly enough of the experience and everyone from skipper to deck hands that made it one of the most special experiences of our lives.

Our Eco Abrolhos Cruise was great! We were very well looked after by all the amazing crew.. shore excursions and activities were well organised and informative with briefings on board twice a day to keep us up to speed on the day's events. The food is mouth-wateringly spectacular and rivals any Michelin star restaurant anywhere in the world !!..the comfort on board and accomodation is superb it was definately excellent value and a trip that I will personally be doing again Ohhh and the crayfish , fishing and snorkeling all AMAZING as well !!! The Abrolhos were a great group of islands to visit. Eco Abrolhos were a great company to go with conditions on board but the highlight was the staff and the activities you had to choose from. Everyday there were multiple options including fishing, snorkeling, walks with history, nature walks or just chill. The good thing was there was no competition to do anything, they always catered for everybody. All to easy.
I would have no hesitation suggesting EcoAbrolhos for a trip to the islands.

Worth every dollar. An excellent cruise. Beautiful scenery with lots of waterfalls, swimming holes and crocodiles (not at the same time!), and gorgeous sunsets. Although it seemed expensive at the time, we felt this trip was worth every dollar. Our captain Grant participated in every outing (sometimes two or three in one day) and his knowledge and understanding of the region and aboriginal culture, plus personal anecdotes, brought it all to life. There were 29 passengers on board and everyone mingled; the atmosphere was relaxed, with bare feet, shorts and T shirts day and most nights. The food was terrific. The crew were friendly and enthusiastic. Could not fault a thing.

The depth of knowledge was astounding and very well communicated. We always felt safe And well organized. Connor our chef was brilliant serving great meals on every occasion. Hospitality and crew were always on point. If you want to see the Kimberley at its best use Eco Abrolhos . A must!!!!!!

The best 5 night holiday ever!
The staff of the Eco Abrolhos were helpful, knowledgeable, super friendly and had endless energy. The food was simply out of this world!! The activities were better than expected and the cabins and facilities were comfy and cozy. We loved spending time on the Abrolhos Islands and would do it again!!

Holiday of a lifetime - (And who knew I loved fishing?!?)
This was a superb trip. An amazing mix of snorkeling over a great range of coral and a vast amount of fish.
Daily options of fishing and watching the cray pulls with staff who seemed to know just the right level assistance for our group with a range of ages/abilities.
The boat and cabins were v spacious, clean and v comfortable.
All meals were fresh and superb. Connor the chef did an amazing job - plating up crayfish in 50 different ways.
A fab mix of activity, relaxation, fresh food in a pristine environment.

We just came back from a 5 day cruise of the Abrolhos with 33 of our family. We had an amazing time and would recommend it to anyone who loves the ocean, outdoors or fishing!

The highlights of the trip for me (aside from spending amazing quality time with family) were the snorkelling, the food (there was so much and plenty of variety - you definitely won't be hungry) and visiting post office island.

The boat itself was really comfortable and we had one of the king suites which was very spacious and had a good view.

Massive thank you to Bronson and the whole crew who were so helpful and friendly and looked after us so well.

Our second time on the Eco. First trip was to the Kimberley this time to the Abrolhos. Another unforgettable voyage. Snorkeling, sea lions, bird life and crayfish (lobster) to eat every day. The crew are fabulous, can't fault a thing. They know the Kimberley and Abrolhos like the back of their hands, such deep local knowledge. Can't recommend them highly enough

Our time in this little piece of paradise was like opening a box of chocolates each day - full of surprises!
Snorkelling and swimming around the coral reefs was truly like being in an aquarium.
Then there was the seafood - a "foodies dream."
The fishos were out daily setting cray pots and fishing - "what a catch!" Off to the kitchen and on the day's menu. So, so fresh!
The guided island walks and of course the history of the Batavia were so informative.
Best of all was the crew and skipper - what a happy cruise we had!
Nothing was too much for them to do for us. They made our cruise truly memorable.

Our Eco Abrolhos cruise was a bucket list trip and exceeded expectations! Combining informative history, nature, snorkelling, fishing, walking and swimming with gourmet food, wine and spectacular sunsets. A visit to Post Office Island gave an insight to Island life and the opportunity to buy beautiful pearl jewellery cultured and crafted by local artisan Jane Lidden. Jaye and the team provide a professional but relaxed and friendly environment on board. The small group allows a personalised experience. A trip of a lifetime, looking forward to Eco Kimberley!!!

I need six stars for this review. This trip is amazing, so much history, wildlife, seafood and good times. Wonderful guests, an outstanding crew and the best food ever from the Chef. A beautiful boat to call home for the trip and a wonderful fishing boat for the day's activities. Thanks to Jay, Sonia, Bronson and Crew. The best organised holiday of my life.

MUST DO! We were absolutely blown away with our 5 day holiday on the Eco Abrolhos! I'm super fussy & am delighted to say 'this is a must do experience'. 5 stars for everything! The staff were fantastic, the food was fantastic, the daily activities were fantastic, the beds were comfy. The snorkeling was made easy & was super beautiful, the fishing was awesome, the island walks stunning and informative. We snorkeled the 400 year old Batavia shipwreck- incredible. Visited a pearl farm which was most interesting & had a star gazing night!
The skipper Jay is one of the most genuine nice people I've met in a long time which reflected in his staff. Thank you to all who made this 5 day holiday one I will remember forever! 5 stars all the way!

Our 6 day Abrolhos Islands cruise was amazing. This cruise had it all from wildlife to stunning scenery, history, snorkelling, fishing, walking, swimming, relaxing, cruising, culinary delights and terrific crew.

Abrolhos Islands Cruise What a wonderful experience! Such a variety of terrific - snorkelling on coral, glass bottom boating, wonderful fishing, the oyster party , pearl farm , history and so much more. The staff were wonderful especially Jay , owner and skipper, who brought unique life of the crayfishers and Batavia history on the islands come alive. Fabulous food as well. Special mention to Sonja who certainly went above and beyond to be so so very helpful.

Eco tourism at its finest!! There is nothing I can say to fault this incredible tour!! The crew on board the Eco Abrolhos were simply outstanding. Like one big family. And the Abrolhos Islands are simply breathtaking!! To be able to snorkel the Batavia shipwreck is a once in a lifetime opportunity I’ll never forget!! The food was so fresh and delicious and the activities each day were perfect.
As a travel agent, I have no trouble recommending Eco Abrolhos to my clients who I’m sure will leave a little piece of their heart in the Abrolhos like I have!!

Amazing must do experience! Absolute must do experience. Eco Abrolhos was out of the world. Family run and operated business that delivered well beyond expectations. The attention to every little detail was sensational. Food was sooooo good. Who doesn't love fresh seafood! Well if you don't there were plenty of other delicious options. Fishing was sensational! Snorkelling, site seeing, walks, tours. This trip had it all! Including some beautiful wines on tasting!

One Not to Miss This is a wonderful tour. Great staff and exceptional service. The boat is very comfortable and clean. They keep you active every day doing different tours (fishing or snorkeling) each day. The Abrolhos is fascinating to see and the history behind it all. The food is amazing and you certainly will not go hungry. The staff are just wonderful, helpful, easy and relaxed. The boat has a wonderful feel to it where you know the staff are a real team.

Amazing Kimberley Cruise We had a fantastic time on the Eco Abrolhos from Broome to Wyndham. The ship is very stable and very comfortable with great nautical character. The spacious top deck is a fantastic place to relax and take in the view of the amazing rock formations of the Kimberley water ways. You get a 360 degree view which is great for photographers and a great place for sunset drinks too. Food was exceptional and beautifully presented. You won’t go hungry on this ship! Thanks Connor.
There were 30 passengers and everyone got on very well and met some great people. We had daily sight seeing excursions and many fishing trips on the best tenders specially designed for the purpose of exploring waterways. The tender drivers were very knowledgeable of the local area when sight seeing and they knew where to put us on the fish when we went fishing. There are 4 tenders to take all passengers so everyone goes together and there is no waiting around! You get to see a lot more than the big cruise liners and there is no waiting for excursions.
Being a catamaran with relatively shallow draft we were able to get into places where the big cruise ships can’t get to. We had the best time.
Another item from the bucket list ticked!

Old, tired boat Boat is old and dirty. Rooms are tiny. Sunset bar is never open except for a special event like Mexican night (so twice throughout the whole cruise) Furniture is old and worn out and stained. One of the passengers on our cruise, sat on a cane stool and it collapsed. It was lucky he didn't break his neck!
You are expected to wait for everyone when you go on an excursion. So, if you're fit, don't go on this boat as they let anyone on, no matter their level of fitness. That means you stand around in the heat, waiting for the slowest person to climb a rock or something.

Eco Abrolhos cruises The eco Abrolhos from Darwin to Broome was marvellous.Well catered for ,staff were helpful, would definitely recommend the eco Abrolhos company.We also did the week long Abrolhos Island cruise never knew bone can eat crayfish(lobster) in that many ways had crayfish muffins,boiled ,roasted,steamed,whole,pancakes,terrific imaginations what one can do with lobster.

Cruise of the Kimberley with Eco Abrolhos Great tour of the Kimberley’s by sea. Exceptional crew, great food. Trips each day by very functional tenders were the highlight of the days. Enough time to rest and relax and we met so many nice people. We had 26 passengers on our boat and we never had to wait very long for anything. Everyone got along very well and were easy going. I would thoroughly recommend this trip

Amazing experiences - drinks at dusk at amazing waterfalls, picnic lunch swimming in fresh water waterholes, fishing, crabbing, crocodile watching!, whale watching, upper deck drinks and Hawaiian night, out in the tenders for sunrise over the amazing Kimberley cliffs, river reflections, the unforgettable Montgomery Reef and the Horizontal Falls. exceptional staff - Grant, Jono, Alex and crew, great food, very reasonable bar prices and much more .

Sad, Old, dirty boat This boat is old, dirty and smelly. The cabin we stayed in was about as big as a shoe box. The upper deck had old, broken furniture and the bar was never open at sunset (as portrayed on the website) . No one in the office wants to know if you're not happy with something. It's all about, how hard it's been for them. The tender ( small boats) crew on the Eco were fantastic. The cruise may not be as expensive as some of the others but, it is still incredibly expensive and not value for money at all.
