You’ll veer off the main track and perhaps head down a laneway or side street to get the real sense of a city, and that’s what you’ll do in the company of a local on the Hidden Secrets of Darwin walk.

Exploring an arcade or two, posing for a photo before one of Darwin’s colourful street art murals, a little bit of history, a touch of public art and a look at buildings old and new is awaiting you on this 2-hour walking tour. You’ll discover the serene Chinese Temple, and appreciate some of the award-winning street art complete with AR (augmented reality), as well as enjoy a refreshment break for a drink and a chat. 

Walking in the cool of the day with a local and seeing the sights of Darwin, Australia, is a relaxed way to spend your morning.

Departs:
Raintree Park under the John McDouall Stuart statue, corner of Smith Street Mall and Knuckey Street. Look for the person in the bright orange shirt.

Notes:
~ This tour requires a minimum of 2 paying guests to operate and the group size is limited to 10.
~ A level of fitness is required on this tour as there are not many places where you can stop, sit and rest.
~ Child rate is for children between 8 and 15 years of age. Full adult rate for children 16 years and above.
~ Tour does not operate on weekends nor public holidays.
