The boat was old but it's fine. The two staff were friendly and always willing to assist us. You don't really need to bring ice bag cause they will clean the fish and put it in plastic bags for you. Overall I did enjoy the experience. Not recommend for people with seasickness. It will still be very terrible even after taking pills.

Want to shout out Sparrow and Steve for such an amazing experience on the charter! Their expertise and support are immaculate, would definitely recommend them even if you are a beginner or an expert. The boys are so down to earth and welcoming, which made the experience even so better!

they deleted my previous reviews! Super irresponsible, took the boat out in extreme weathers despite I have emailed them and tried to call them to raise my concerns the night before the trip when i saw the hazardous water condition warnings on the bureau of meteorology. They didn’t respond to any of my emails or messages and refused to cancel the trip over the the phone. The boat went out in really windy and rainy conditions, and I was already not comfortable with the waves before we reached the outer harbour. Lots of people were throwing up, but had no choice but to wait until the session finishes. No one caught any fish in the end.

Had a fantastic experience with Ravi and the team. He was super accomodating to our group of 20 people. Walked away with a bunch of fish and a great memory.

Had a great trip doing a half day off-shore fishing charter. Bought the experience for my son (14) who is mad into fishing and he had a cracking time. Ravi was great, coaching him whilst we were fishing and he landed a decent teraglin which he was very happy about. Great day out - highly recommend

No admin or access - poor customer service I have tried every means possible to get in touch with this company . They don’t reply or call back. We have a voucher and wanted to book 2 additional places on the charter . I would like my son to enjoy his Christmas present. Deep blue charters if you can reply to my many messages that would be appreciated.

Had an amazing day fishing on the half day reef fishing charter. Everything was ready and set up when we arrived, Ravi and the deckhand Harry were super helpful in showing us how it all works. Caught loads of fish, chilled vibe with a few beers and bbq, can’t reccomend it enough!

Absolutely loved our family fishing adventure with Ravi, Cain and Shane with Deep Blue! The crew were super helpful and we caught so many more fish than expected! A truly fun and memorable experience.

From the beginning during the booking stages Ravi was kind enough to walk us through what to expect during the fishing trip for first timers and it is was a fantastic experience for my brother and his mates ! Their time on the Charter was thoroughly enjoyed, they caught a lot of fish and learnt alot of new things from Phillip & Cane . Thanks again for the great vibes and awesome Day.

Fair experience, big room for improvement. Chris 1st Officer was amazing. Always willing to help, never lost the cool, enjoys his job. Firm and passionate about the sea, the fish and customers.
Areas for inprovement - should have been less than 19 "customers" on board. Showing novices and checking if people were ok would have been good. Would have been useful to be told where we were located at each fishing stop. Skipper made no attempt to engage/enquire with customers at times when engine was stopped, he spent more time barking orders. Despite 4 stops fishing was scarce, I would not recommend afternoon trip.

Would give negative score if I could - Poor service quality, bad manner the crew showed, and irresponsible act which threatened the customer safety!

3 days before the sailing date, we noticed that the Bureau of Meteorology had published Severe Weather Warning for damaging surf, heavy rainfall and damaging wind in the Sydney coast area. Out of concern, we seek advice from Deep Blue Charters several times about whether it's safe to operate under such weather conditions. Deep Blue Charters convinced us, that they can operate and offer the same level of service as normal.

However, once we sailed to the open water, the extreme weather made everyone hardly stand, with no mention of fishing. The crew didn't provide any life jackets or necceary aid or help for us in the pouring rain and high swell, which was very disappointed. We had no choice but to come back without ever touching the fishing rod.

Deep Blue Charter stated:" Customer Service and safety is prime importance to us therefore charters will only operate under safe and acceptable weather conditions. Bad weather is inclusive of few factors, and by no means restricted to high SWELL and WIND." However, what we experienced today went totally against this policy.

Before and during the trip, Deep Blue Charter and the crew could have warned us of the risks, or even had the trip cancelled or postponed. Even after we showed strong concerns about the weather conditions, Deep Blue Charter failed to take any actions to avoid this situation and took risk of customer safety. Deep Blue Charter should have known that "Boaters planning to cross shallow water and ocean bars should consider changing or delaying their voyage", advised by NSW Police Force, Marine Area Command.

Poor experience！ Terrible experience! We had an 'unforgettable' trip in early July. They have no regard for our safety in extreme weather. We were tossed around like a ball on the boat by the waves. We were all soaked in waves and rain. When I got off the boat and went home, I had a high fever. Do not choose this company.

LIFE THREATHENING, Money taken without permision Extremely poor service! They arranged an unsafe trip for us in a storm. The ship was shaking in the turbulent water and everyone is thrown back and forth. We almost vomitted our guts out. The rain water soaked us and there was no way that we can fish under that circumstances.The captain threatened us not taking us back to the shore if we do not pay the rest of the money. They eventually took the money from our card without our permission. A few us got sick after the inccident. This happened in the first week of July 2022 when the weather bureau has already released extreme weather warning. Please be AWARE of them.

All they want was to earn money! We didn’t get anything and we were forced to pay full price! Otherwise we would be put into a black list! Threatened by the captain!

The best charter in Sydney! The largest, most comfortable boat. 14 people moved around and fished very comfortably. Plenty of bait, pleanty of fish. Everybody caught soemthing and had a fantastic time. The Skipper Ravi and deckhand Michael are bloody legends and very accomodating to us along with the kids. Thanks guys for an awesome time, we'll be back!!

Highly Recommend Deep Blue. Good Pricing and Friendly and Helpful staff. Used them for 2 years running and one of the best in Sydney.

Deep Blue Charters are the best What a fantastic experience! A mate and I did the 6:30am session and were fortunate to get a perfect day’s weather. A great day of fishing, a good catch up, a time to share someone’s company without having to say anything, just let the fish do the talking, unless you have to talk to the sea ????

Take your own esky, ice, drinks, and snacks, and warm clothes for the trip out of the heads; even if it is going to be a warm day.

Make sure you take a camera or phone to capture your day’s catch ????

Thank you Ravi for the great day of family fun! We had great morning fishing trip with Deep Blue Charters. Ravi is very knowledgeable, nice and hardworking skipper. He knows the right places to go fishing and knows how to keep people on board entertained. Our family group consist of 7 people including young children and we had an excellent day on the water. Caught plenty of flatheads, trevally, small king, etc. Besides, this fishing charter is a good value for money. So, highly recommended.

10 of us chose to hire the Mystery Bay for a half day exclusive deep sea fishing tour. Everything worked out just great. I’d say the boat is large enough to comfortably fit 12 anglers but 10 is the way to go if want to avoid tangled lines. We caught heaps of fish thanks to the skippers off shore experience. Deckhand Mike did a great job assisting with fishing tips and dealing with the fish once they were caught. Defiantly recommend this crew! We will be back. Thanks for a great day out fishing.
