Excellent Experience Had a lunch at Sensorial Circus and thoroughly enjoyed it. Meal was great, service was great, as was the setting. We then went on to do a complimentary tasting which was also a good experience with friendly and knowledgeable tasting/wine staff. As locals we had not been there before and will now be recommending it. We spent 3+ hours there in an interesting and quirky winery. It made for a total experience not just about the wine. Well done

A sensory experience to take time with and enjoy I booked a wine tasting, lunch, and Salvador Dali painting viewing experience. The wine wasn't really to our liking, but the lunch was exquisite, and the paintings, building, stairwell, even the loos, were wonderful. The entire sensory experience was mindblowing. We loved it. I had some trepidation that my husband wouldn't enjoy it, but we both came away having spent more time than I'd originally thought we would and no regrets about the entire experience. If you do one thing in the McLaren Vale region and you love art - do this!

Too much sensorial circus ,Disappointing Bit confusing at the entry, 1st floor is WC, if you can figure out how to find the door to get in, between the plastic greenery on the wall, the 2nd floor is exhibition , the 3rd is the restaurant, the 4th is wine tasting. We went there just to celebrating a birthday, got a table with nice view. The whole place is over complicated, the waitresses preparing part of the food instead of service, had to wait for the waitress then for the food, they forgot one of the dish, the food is kind of snacky type, was ok, it was warm instead of hot,

Bash event The WA Variety Bash evening launch took place here. It's a very interesting place to hold an event, and due to the different levels, it was hard to do networking. However, the food and wine did go down well.
As it was an evening event, I didn't get a chance to try any wine other than what was on offer or to explore the winery itself.
The cube is very interesting concept and lots of art work to look at. The toilets are a must visit!

If you can, the premium, private tasting is a must! We did the premium tasting that
meant we could go in early before anybody else and basicaly have a private tour of the art, complete eith the back stories and then had a private, premium tasting. Our host, Sarah, was amazing!!! The wines were wonderful, especialy as we did not just taste the standard range. We finished our trip by dinkng at the Circus just wonderful, all of it

Earlier this month we went to visit McLaren Vale and learn a bit more about South Australia and their well known wine country
Beautiful part of Australia, nice and friendly people and of course - Great wines ! First stop was D'Arenberg Winery and that was really good experience, filled with great vistas, good quality wines and excellent food. Cube was unexpectedly interesting with all permanent artifacts but also Salvador Daly's addition made it really pleasurable. Great work organizing that!
Tried few different wines - all quite nice of course , almost hard to pick your favorite! But actually Star of the show was Food at d"Arry's Verandah Restaurant!!!
We had beef fillet with bonemarrow and phenomenal jus and Duck meal. Not sure which one was better, really tough question. Quality of our meals was just next level!!!
So, big shout to Chefs they can be proud of what they are offering there. BTW Service was also spotless, so nice friendly and natural. We would recommend to everyone!!

Great fun location to visit. We had an awesome time doing the wine blending and gin tasting. Highly recommended the wine blend if you have some time. Not sure my blend will win any awards but it’s great fun. Venue itself has lots to see and do.

Our visit to d’Arenberg was absolutely unforgettable. The Cube is a bold architectural wonder, and the current exhibition featuring Salvador Dall·E was surreal, captivating, and perfectly suited to the space — like stepping into a dreamscape of colour and imagination.

The wine tasting was a true highlight, showcasing a beautifully curated selection of wines with real personality. The staff were outstanding — knowledgeable, passionate, and genuinely welcoming, which made the experience all the more memorable.

Beautiful art in secluded hills This was a great spot as an introduction to Adelaide wineries. The grounds and artworks were amazing, the building itself beautiful. I particularly enjoyed the wine tasting as part of the ticket, there were some really lovely wines on offer! I would highly recommend to anyone, even those not interested in wine as the building was a work of art and enjoyable.

Lacks some polish but fun First impression was a lack of signage and general wear and tear.
However the views, the Verandah restaurant and the wines and cellar door choices made up.
The “Cube” is of course a stunt but crazy can be fun.
We traveled by frequent train and Uber so no need for an organised tour.

S. Australia Highlights Full Day Tour was not worth it d'Arenberg was a weird experience. Can't say having wine that tasted like Green Pepper juice was squeezed into it is my style. The tour guide we had was very negative and told us there was nothing to see at several of our stops. Was a huge turnoff. We also got to the winery and were told we had to pay extra, although none of the other guests were required to do so.

Wonderfully whimsical Long time drinker but first time visitor to D'Arenberg. Seeing what four generations can achieve is remarkable. Wine tasting followed by their degustation lunch at D'Arrys was a feast for all the senses.
Whimsical and the passion of the Osborne family is brought to life for visitors by their incredible staff who are similarly bought-in to the vision. Deep respect and admiration. A joy to visit.

It was the only winery we could go to our visit to Adelaide. The cube was an amazing museum and art gallery. When we booked the restaurant for lunch, we got an invite for free wine tasting and entry to the gallery. We were told to come 1.5 hours before lunch. I'm so glad we did because we needed that time to spend in the cube! Wine tasting on the top floor with the view was so good. Highly recommend it.

Definitely worth a visit, even if it’s just for photographs. The architecture is magnificent. There is an entrance fee to visit, which comes with complimentary wine tasting.

My wife & I enjoyed the tasting experience, we could to sample a variety of D’Arenberg wines. As with most wineries in McLaren vale, they have a huge variety of wine from rose, Pinot noirs, Grenache, Shiraz etc.

Wonderful! We were a small group of 8 and from the moment we pulled up we o ew it would be a fun experience.
There is a Salvador Dali/Chagall exhibit which we unfortunately did not have time for but the influence is everywhere. There are fabulous sculptures all over and the actual winery where you have your tasting is in a cube!
Inside the cube we were given a fabulous tour by a wonderful employee that also did our wine tasting. Eceletic and funky best describes the cube and its contents. Make sure you go to the bathrooms and do not miss the men’s urinals! Hysterical.

Lovely day-out! My friend Alison and I visited Arenberg for the Blending Bench and lunch at Singapore Circus. We had Dee for the blending bench and she was lovely and lots of fun. A great experience. We then went downstairs for lunch which was Bao at the Singapore Circus - very delish! The staff and service were exceptional. We finished the day with wine on the grass. A great day out!

Fun and quirky building This is a super fun venue! Came here on a Trailhopper tour for wine tasting. The art both inside and out is quirky. If we had more time I would have liked to do the Dali exhibition. The wine tasting was good - we felt our server was perhaps going through the motions, but not unexpected given the number of people that come through this place.

We enjoyed seeing the cube from various other places we visited during the day. A very unique building.

Superb experience. The wine tasting session was great, explained the history of naming wines to taste as flavour. Went to the restaurant after that, great food. Could recommend to anyone to go and have a try. Loved the place, loved the food and loved the people.

This place is so nice, we got to see the grape farm and see the wine tasting. There are many floors and we had a lot of fun. On of the balcony has an incredible view. There are so many different views which is so beautiful.

Great wine tasting and lunch We really enjoyed our wine tasting here principally because of the two staff members who looked after us who were very friendly, generous with their time and made the whole experience so enjoyable. The range of wines is staggering and fascinating at the same time. We really enjoyed some of the less well known varieties that are featured. The cube is such an extraordinary venue and the views across McLaren vale to the hills and the sea are beautiful. Highly recommended. We also dined at the Singapore Circus restaurant which was really good.

A different kind of Winery Not normally one to go to wineries, my friends suggested this as an experience. And it was. A combination quirky art gallery and winery, a person who goes to the Cube has a total immersive experience. I would not know whether a wine is good or not, but our hosts really liked the five we tried, especially the Dead Arm. The art is similar to going to a Meow Wolf exhibit, though it is not nearly as large. At the time a Salvador Dali exhibition was going on, and some of the Dali creations were outside so we could see them. The building is interested for architects and engineers, the art appealing for the artist, and the atmosphere - well, I would go again, even though I don’t drink wine!

I loved every second!
The place is really cool and I upgraded for the wine blend experience which I had to make by myself and it was just so nice! I felt like a chemist lol the architecture and arts inspired by Dalí is also a plus that attracts many tourists to the city of Adelaide.

BEST WINERY EVER!! This could be the best winery we have ever visited!
It gives you a unique experience from the moment you walk in n you get greeted by the beautiful Salvador Dali’s sculptures.
Once you step into the cube you get taken away by the breathtaking art work throughout all 3 levels.
Dont forget to check out the stairway & the toilets as they are an exceptional experience on their own!
We went with the basic wine tasting experience where you get 6 glasses the are conveniently filled of either whites or red wines.
I personally loved The Dry Dam from the white wines, The Pink from the Rose.
I highly recommend this winery whenever ur in Adelaide.

Looking for something different - go here. Differently worth a visit if your in McLaren Vale. Lots to look at.

What a amazing Winery this is, with its Dali exhibition located on the second floor of this four floor arts building.
The winery also offers food on the Singapore gallery, and wine tastings on the top floor.
It's well worth the visit.

Fabulous d'Arenberg and its Cube not only lived up to, but exceeded my expectations. Nothing else in this country comes close for a unique winery experience. Surprises at every turn. It helps to like Salvador Dali and Chester Osborn's eccentricities of course!

Nice views and worth seeing then Cube Very busy and commercial when we visited either. Not keen on the wine wither. Unfortunately I can’t recommend. Very disappointed with our visit

Spectacular cellar door inside an art house cube building! Definitely the most flamboyant cellar door we've ever been to with an art house cube building which includes the Salvador Dali exhibition. Over 70 wines made with very clever names which adds to the appeal. The premium reds were excellent and there is a good back vintage selection for purchase to enhance the home vertical tasting experience. The toilets are fascinating but a bit confusing to get into. Definitely worth a visit for the spectacle, if bit the wine.

Highly recommended to see this place if you’re in Adelaide. The atmosphere is excellent and the staff are very friendly. Top wines in the McLaren Vale. Good Lunch but may be overpriced. Definitely cheaper than some of the other wineries.we enjoyed the day trip. You must visit the ground floor visual Show.

Pricey We were excited to see the Dali exhibition and were prepared to do long drive from the city to get there.
The cube is somewhat out of place and assume a folly of the rich owners.
Entry fee was steep considering who does wine tasting first thing in the morning and surcharge to actually see the Dali section was frustrating.

Worth seeing the exhibit as a one off but not a repeat visit.

Love it, Love it , love it! This is the place we always bring out overseas and interstate visitors. Allow a couple of hours and make sure you don't miss the Dali level. Georgina who works in the gallery always looks after our friends and has a great knowledge about the art on display. Thanks for making us welcome once again.

What a absolute awesome experience. We did the dead arm tasting and I cannot praise the knowledge, professionalism and naturally the great wines and the view from top of the Cube enough. This is a must see and do. Also a must do is the gallery,it's like falling down into the rabbit hole and waking up in Wonderland.

Nice experience for a large winery We had quite a pleasant visit to the The Cube. Relatively inexpensive. We had a general tasting & added the Dali exhibition since we previously visited the Dali museum in Figueroa. Even though it was a Sat just before lunch with a busy tasting room, they made sure they got us some space to prop. We felt relatively un - rushed. The lady who served us waited till we had time to taste before moving on to the next wine on the list. Even added a couple of wines not on the list at the end. Frankly, I thought we might be rushed at a large winery,so pleasantly surprised. Ordered a couple of bottles and moved on to the Dali exhibition. We were puzzled that we could have a Dali exhibition here in McLaren Vale. It was soon explained that Dali arranged for some of his works to be replicated with limited qty of each. So all the items in there were labelled as such. Learn something new everyday, right? Overall, quite a nice experience.

Great Building & Dali Art to Ponder (and Buy!) A Quirky Building with some exceptional art and in particular, the Dali displays. Whether you are a fan of Dali or not, this is a place to visit for no other reason than to enjoy the quirky design of the building and the art it contains. Aimed at the wine lovers but some great artistic interpretations inside are delightful.

We really liked the experience, totally worths $20 entrance fee, the somilie gave us a lot of different types of vine to taste, the first floor is also really cool with all the art. 4 stars because the "Dali" exhibition has 0 original artwork, so selling it for 50k feels like a scam

Wines with amazing bouquets & colours, not inexpensive. Thought provoking artworks, if not a touch macabre. Creating a playful atmosphere. Dalli being quite risque & abit imaginarlly warped. Magnificent rolling hills, clean air & vineyard landscape. Good idea to book ahead.
Quite a few Aboriginal indigenous artefacts tucked away getting damaged. Please give them some care & hung appropriately for viewing. There are not so many original pieces & such left.

A once in a lifetime experience at d'Arenberg Cube Our visit to d'Arenberg was a highlight of our 6 week South Australian car trip. We loved the quirkiness of the building and everything in and around it. We could have spent a whole day exploring the contemporary art museum, the Dali Exhibition, and all there was to see and experience. Our admission price included a standard wine tasting which was generous and the person looking after us was knowledge and professional but extremely friendly. This experience was exceptional value for money and the wines were beautiful.

Definitely place to visit if You're getting to the one of the main wine region in South-Australia.
How ever their perfection in work and community is settled I'll find that their environment is balanced out in such a fabulous way with cube house and art. Wine could be overpriced in some sense on the market but once in a lifetime it's definitely worth to visit and see over the vineyards and taste their ancient style of foot trod or basket pressed wines.

Must do when visiting Adelaide Situated in McLaren Vale, the Cube is a must see. It is $20 to enter and this includes a wine tasting of at least 6 of the D’Arenberg range. The staff are helpful and informative even if a bit slow with the tasting, but we weren’t in a hurry so that didn’t matter. There is some amazing pieces of artwork and very wacky and weird over all the floors. We caught the lift up and went down the stairs to explore more. There are 2 restaurants on site, one being Asian. There is a gallery on one floor which you have to pay an extra $10 that is dedicated to Dali and other surrealist artists. To be honest, I’m a huge Dali fan and was expecting a lot more so was disappointed. There is a really cool video on the ground floor that has video’s on the names of all the wines. You have to check out the bathrooms the are fabulous! Outside there is a small gallery the Archers Arcadia which has interactive sideshow pieces.
D’Arenberg is definitely worth visiting.

Over rated and over priced..... Too expensive just to get in . Over rated and over priced and too many people! Not worth it when there are SO many other great places and wineries in McLaren Vale to see and go to and visit. Don't bother .
Awful experience.

Lovely views from the amazing structure. There is art everywhere (check out the lavs!), and the Dali exhibition is a treat with the addition of Sydney artist, Billich (wow!). Lovely wines and a good tasting experience

Loved it The d'Arenberg is quirky, all round great place to visit. We booked online, so a small queue on arrival. Wine tasting was great and we even bought some bottles, we also pre-booked a two course lunch, fabulous food and the the Dali exhibition is excellent. Everywhere you look at d'Arenberg there is something to see. Pre book, it was really busy. We loved it.

You must see the Cube !! My partner and I visited the d'Arenberg Cube last week and were so pleased we did so. This place is a "must see" when visiting McLaren Vale in South Australia. Some of the most outlandish and interesting art that you could see is on display. We paid $20 to enter and if you're a Salvator Dali & Charles Billich fan the extra $10 to see many of their original artworks is well worth the cost. Some of the artwork is "way out" so be prepared for different things.. Staff are very pleasant & helpful as well .Oh! the coffee is good too.

Not bad Interesting experience at D’arenberg Cube. Our group of eight adults opted for 20min self guided tour of artwork followed by wine tasting on fourth floor of the cube. Whilst it was interesting and the type of art may aspire to some it wasn’t my cup of tea. Wine tasting was great with friendly service and great views overlooking vineyards. Give it a go and make your own mind up whether you like it or not.

Wish I didn’t go We came a long way, I was looking forward to tasting this five red stars winery wines. People have to pay A$20 each to get up to the top floor to get to the tasting floor regardless who does the tasting or not. The cube building itself is fancy, the decor is nothing to do with wines in my opinion. The wine tasting experience was quite commercial. I went there for a different purpose rather than visiting a theme park, if I knew, I wouldn’t have gone up.

as a group we were herded into a video room that for the life of me i stop don't understand its relevance, perhaps the time would have been better spent actually talking about the wines!!
Our wine tasting was quite frankly a let down, i've done a lot of wine tasting and i've never had such a brusque and quite frankly rude person, we were on a bus tour, people paid for the tasting and she wouldn't alter the tasting for people that didn't like white/red and offer an alternative .. every wine tasting i've ever gone on, i've been asked what is drink instead of a particular wine and been offered something else, i don't think her knowledge was that great either. The feeling was obviously felt by all on our tour as it was the ONLY winery no one bought from. i had heard great things about the sparkling - too bad even a large group couldn't even get a tasting! Apart from the novelty value from the cube and the toilets there's many more wineries with quite frankly better service and wines
