All the destinations were specially curated for everyone's preference, from winery and chocolate factory visits to kangaroo lookouts, it was all fantastic and enjoyable.
The guide, Tom, was both knowledgeable and professional, very very very cool guy.
Our driver/guide was fantastic too – really friendly and put in a lot of effort to make the day fun and enjoyable. It was an awesome trip and I’d definitely recommend it!
We had a great time!
Our guide, Tom, made the whole experience light, fun, and genuinely enjoyable. He’s well-versed in Melbourne’s history, shared great stories along the way, and kept the group engaged without ever overdoing it. Super knowledgeable, but never too serious — just the right balance.
We left from Federation Square at 11:30 AM in a comfortable, luxury sprinter van and visited some of the best stops in the Yarra Valley:
Domaine Chandon for sparkling wine and vineyard views
Yarra Valley Dairy for cheese tastings paired with cider (goat vs cow? Still undecided!)
Yering Station, Victoria’s oldest winery — very relaxed with a touch of elegance
Yarra Valley Chocolaterie & Ice Creamery for a sugar hit
Kangaroo safari wild kangaroo spotting — a real highlight!
The whole day felt easy, well-paced, and thoughtfully planned. Highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore the Yarra Valley without the hassle. Would definitely do it again!
Liaison with Craig on tour details was also easy and fast.
Would recommend them totally 💯
And one more piece of advice do not skip the ice cream!
Super duper Highly recommended to all! ❤️
Our guide Kurt was awesome, providing a plethora of knowledge about the area and helping us newbies dip our toes in to the world of wine tasting. He was personable, fun, down to earth and made sure we had an enjoyable time every step of the way.
We tasted amazing wine, gin and cheese, and saw lots of wildlife

Due to the others in our group changing their itinerary, we were given the opportunity to tour around using a Mercedes 8-seater van. Mark was our guide for the day and we were all provided with sufficient bottles of water which helped since it was a beautiful sunny day out. We were first brought to Chandon, which was not originally part of our itinerary, and perhaps due to the sudden changes in transport plans, we were told that we get to choose a bottle of wine to share within our group! This was super sweet of them and we really appreciate it~
Throughout the day, Mark was very considerate and always mentioned interesting stuff, including information about the birds we saw during the tour. The cheese tasting we had was also amazing! Everything tasted so good, including the red salsa thing (I forgot what it's called T^T) when combined with the cheeses. We were also brought to Punt Road instead of Yerring Station so that we can avoid the crowds for the wine tasting and this was such a great gesture since we had Punt Road all to ourselves and it felt like we were having a private tasting of some of the best wines I've ever had. I don't really like reds, but the Pinot Noir that we had was divine!
After the wine tasting, we went to the chocolatier so we could have chocolate tasting, and we had some great and unique chocolates served to us~ It was a bit late already (our fault really) so we had to rush but I got to taste their ice cream and bought some chocolate bars to taste~
We ended the day with some kangaroo viewing! There were so many and they were all just calmly munching on grass, lying down, or staring back at us~
I would say this is one of my fave guided experience of all time. It was chill, our guide was very nice, we got to taste some amazing wine, cheese, and chocolate, and see some kangaroos! Definitely a wonderful experience~
And what makes me feel so impressive is Craig even planned the music playlist according to the occasion. Love the attention to details of this tour. Highly recommend to those who plan to visit Yarra Valley.
Leo very friendly and kind. Our group were fun to be with and we all got on. Well worth the money. We would certainly recommend utter trip .
We took the metro from the city and Craig met us at the Lilydale station. We started by having a cheese tasting session with 8-10 kinds of cheese in a local cheese house. Love the cheese and the friendly staff there.
We then headed to Yering Station, the oldest winery in the region, for the first round of wine tasting. We were presented with some outstanding sparkling wine (which in our view were as good as champagne and we brought two bottles back). The reds and whites were more of personal preference but they were also amazing.
Next we went to Chandon for a wine-paired brunch. Absolutely love the environment and the wine there. They are not ordinary sparkling wine - they are the naughty boys in the traditional family - creative fruity sparkling wines. We liked them so much that we had a hard time thinking which one to bring home (thanks for the tips Craig).
Since we were the only customers in the tour, Craig was very nice to allow us to choose where to go next. We decided to visit the Yering Farm (the Apple cider was the highlight) and the chocolate factory (Craig managed to get us to a private chocolate tour). We love the chocolates and think they tasted much better than Koko Black.
And this wasn’t the end of the tour! Craig brought us to a secret place for the wild kangaroos and we saw a big family of kangaroos there.
Throughout the trip, Craig had been professionally explaining the history and climate of Yarra Valley - eg how this led to the growth of the winery industry, how the climate could impact the grapes. We enjoyed the tour for it not being just a get-drunk trip but rather a trip to appreciate and treasure the land through the tour.
We would like to add that Craig was very friendly and knowledgeable, and he took every possible step to make the Yarra Valley experience golden. We definitely recommend everyone to join Craig’s tour. Taking the metro to Lilydale station was straightaway and everything was smooth even for foreigners like us.
Thank you very again Craig. We had a great day and we will be back!

We did the half day tour leaving Melbourne at noon and returning at 7pm and covered Chandon, Yarra Valley Dairy, Yering Station Winery, Yarra Valley Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery as well as seeing kangaroos in the wild towards the end of the tour.
The tour was well planned with enough time in each location to enjoy the food and drinks along with the stunning views.
Craig is a fantastic tour guide with both entertaining and insightful knowledge, a big smile, and an observant eye to how the group is enjoying themselves.
I highly recommend this tour but also the company in general and I’ll book another tour next time I’m in town.
He put up with 7 fun/loud women plus 2 couples and we had the best day
We had such a fun day!
Highly recommend if you are in the valley
Craig was also very helpful in giving us recommendations since he lives in the area and is highly experienced.
Tour was also run at a good pace, did not feel rushed at all.
Highly recommended!
