Important Tour Information
- Meeting Point: 8:50 am at Coral Sea Marina (Northern End, Meeting Point B, under the 4 white umbrellas near the roundabout). Departs at 9:15 am and returns at 3:30 pm.
- Please note: This day tour does not visit Whitehaven Beach or Hill Inlet.
- Age Limit: Children aged 5 and over are welcome.
- Safety: Due to workplace health and safety regulations, non-swimmers cannot participate in water activities.
- BYO Details: No glass allowed (except wine bottles). Please purchase your drinks the day prior, as there is no bottle shop at the marina.
Cruise Ship Guests
Please note that charter timings do not always align with cruise ship schedules. If your tender departs before 3:45 pm, this tour is not suitable. If your cruise ship tenders are late or do not make it to shore for any reason, you forfeit your full tour and will need to claim the loss on travel insurance. Please check your embarkation and disembarkation times thoroughly to avoid disappointment.
For private group bookings, custom cruise ship charters can be arranged in advance to suit your schedule.

- BYO alcoholic drinks or soft drinks pre-chilled – no glass (wine is ok)
If your booking has a child between the age of 5 – 10 travelling please make sure we know the age of the child before heading to the marina for life jacket sizing.
* Reminder: If you CANNOT SWIM you CANNOT enter the water on this tour for any in-water activities.
** Snorkelling requires guests to be able to get up a small boat ladder from the water into a tender.
CRUISE SHIP GUESTS – IMPORTANT
* If you are visiting the Whitsundays on a cruise ship please make note of the last departure cruise tender time – if your cruise ship tender leaves Port of Airlie Marina or Shute Harbour before 3:45pm this is not a suitable tour.
** Our tour returns at 3:30pm, you can pre-book an Uber or taxi to take you from Coral Sea Marina back to your cruise ship terminal marina. Please check these times before booking.
*** If your cruise ship tenders are late or do not make it to shore for any reason you forfeit your full tour fare and will need to claim the loss on travel insurance. Wings Sailing is not responsible for this and will not offer a refund because you missed the tour.

Accessibility and Limited Mobility Notice
Wings III is a very generous sized catamaran with large deck spaces but it is a boat and boats can be unstable at times.
Our vessel is not fully wheelchair accessible. Boarding requires stepping across a small gap and navigating 2 deck steps. Guests must be able to step up, step down, and maintain balance unassisted, as boat motion can change unexpectedly due to wake and weather. The vessel features steep stairways, raised thresholds (door lips), and narrow restrooms that cannot accommodate wheelchairs or mobility scooters. Due to safety regulations and policies, our crew members are strictly prohibited from physically lifting or carrying guests. We welcome guests with very minor limited mobility but once onboard they may be required to sit at the back undercover while the boat is underway and they are not to be on the front deck while the boat is moving.
The Captain reserves the right to deny boarding to any individual if weather conditions or the guest’s physical limitations present a safety hazard to themselves, other passengers or the crew.

Day Sail Tour: Any cancellations within 24 hours will result in a full forfeit of the tour. The tour needs a minimum of 10 guests to operate.
- If you booked via a travel agent and the boat is cancelled for any reason which could be related to weather, low numbers or vessel maintenance, you need to go back to your travel agent for your refund as you paid the agent. You adhere to their terms & conditions for all refunded monies, and this may incur a small admin fee – every agent is different.
- If you decide to cancel & you booked through a travel agent, you need to go back to your agent. You adhere to their terms & conditions for the return of monies paid, and this may incur a fee.
- We highly recommend all charterers have travel insurance to protect against unexpected cancellations, road closures, and unforeseen circumstances that can and may occur sometimes.
- Unfortunately, if the tour does not meet minimum booking numbers, the operator may cancel. This decision is made by 2pm the day prior or earlier. Guests are to go back to their agent for an alternative trip or a refund, or if booked directly, they will be refunded.
- If you simply do not turn up for your booked tour or charter, then you forfeit all monies paid.
