Spent the weekend learning to dive with the team at Dive Locker, achieving my open water divers ticket. Braedon was an amazing representative for dive locker, a fantastic trainer and all round great bloke. He managed the team well and made the experience nothing but fun, whilst also maintaining a safe environment to learn in. Could not recommend a better place to learn.

Just completed my open water dive course and it was amazing! Our instructor Ethan was fantastic, very clear with instructions every step of the way and made it very enjoyable to learn. He has a wealth of knowledge and very passionate about diving!
Highlight of the course was definitely the Rottnest dives!

I recently completed my PADI Open Water Diver course through Dive Locker Fremantle, WA (29 December 2024).
I can't speak highly enough of my instructor Ethan. His manner of teaching was superb; he was calming, thorough, incredibly knowledgeable, and in control. Ethan was always acutely aware of each student's emotional state and abilities, and able to tailor to their individual needs on the spot without letting other students fall behind. I was very impressed by his abilities as an instructor.
Due to Ethan, I finished the course feeling incredibly confident and full of knowledge. I am now an enthusiastic diver who can't wait for my next dive. Thank you Ethan and DLF.

Kayla has been incredible helping us find new masks and snorkels. Could not recommend the service and range here higher. Amazing service and attentiveness even while busy. Managed to find mask and snorkel for my partner and I that fit like a glove.

I spent the day aboard Blue Destiny this week for an incredible day of scuba diving. This company was the only one I found that included a pickup and drop off from rottnest island, where I was staying for several days. This was extremely helpful as I did not have to go out to Perth to join the excursion.

The boat is well equipped with 3 clean bathrooms. The lunch served had such variety and tasted delicious. The dessert of cheesecake and fruit was also a real treat.

The best part of my experience, however, was my interaction with Phil and my dive master, Rod. Both were welcoming and collegial. I was the only person of the group there alone and they made me feel at ease.

Rod was incredibly patient as this was my first ocean dive experience. I was definitely anxious but his calm demeanor and clear knowledge of diving was such a blessing. He is clearly a very accomplished diver and an even better teacher! I would gladly return to dive with him again!

Great service and friendly customer service. Harriet set us up with wetsuits to hire for our trip to Rottnest Island as we weren’t used to the cold weather compared to our home. She provided us with some great local knowledge of where to go. Thanks heaps.

Open water course. Instructor Geoff’s great. V calm. Good for absolute beginners. Manageable pace. 4 people was such a good size group you get all the help you need. Do The “Optional” eLearning ahead of time I promise you’re not gonna wanna do it Friday/Saturday night. Boat cruise to Rotto was fab.

Was extremely disappointed. Went to checkout going to Rottnest Island Ferry and saw the shop. Great I'll get a new mask and saw the dive course and was extremely interested. Seems the young lady was more interested in chatting to someone on the phone. She clearly assumed we we're not in the chosen demographic and didn't want to serve us. I went out of my way on my journey home to find another shop. I have purchased a snorkel mask and put a deposit down for a slightly more expensive course comparatively. First rule of retail...... Serve customers that are in your bricks and mortar store.

The trip is cancelled but no one informed me in advance，yes I got a missed call，but no SMS，no email，how could I know that it's been cancelled？I woke up very early that morning to attend my course，but just feel disappointed that it's not arranged.
At least they should refund my booking 200 AUD if it's cancelled，why do I need to pay as it's not my reason to cancel.

Fabulous 3 day experience participating in the Open Water course culminating in two awesome dives off Rottnest Island. So good!!
Going into the course as a 50+ year old, wasn’t sure if I could do this new adventure but our instructor Harriet was reassuring, patient and very kind. Her instruction was very clear and plenty of opportunities to practice skills and procedures in a supportive environment.
Couldn’t speak highly enough of the experience!

Had an amazing experience with Dive Locker this weekend (22/10/23) getting my PADI Open Water License. I was, unexpectedly, highly anxious once under the water, as I had totally underestimated how difficult this would be as someone with a childhood phobia of the sea (I thought I had grown out of this!)
Nevertheless, Harriet, our highly-passionate superstar SCUBA Instructor, was amazing at keeping me feeling calm and safe the whole way through. Would of not have coped without her. Harriet is incredible at what she does, and deserves recognition for her calm, considerate and kind skills as an expert diver.
A big thanks to both Harriet and Dive Locker, I owe you one!

PS The dives on the last day were brilliant!

I have just completed my open water diving course with Harriet as our instructor. This 3 day course was jam packed with valuable teaching and a great, relaxed energy. There were many times where Harriet's easy-going nature and encouraging support helped us overcome all the fears and challenges we encountered. No questions felt silly to ask and we were made to feel very safe under the water with her. I definitely have a taste for diving now and will be making the most of my PADI certificate. Would definitely recommend!!

Great location and good stock of equipment, sadly the costumer service very poor as I went to get some info about dive sites, prices etc and the lady in the counter told me to check online lol

Bad experience, felt very rushed. Felt the mask didn’t fit well but worker told me it was fine. He was aware this was my first mask. Have had issues ever since with leaking. Have been told by several people since that my mask is MUCH too big for my face; once by a certified dive master and the now recently by another dive shop owner. Purchased new mask and now have no issues at all. Complete waste of money and many bad snorkelling experiences because the worker did not want to take 5 extra minutes to help me find a proper fitting mask. Cannot recommend.

Always friendly and helpful, with a great selection of gear and services in an easily accessible shop close to Perth’s shore dive hotspots.

Alison is an absolute legend. My wife left her phone on the ferry from Rottnest Island and Alison contacted the crew of the boat, found the phone and personally returned it to our hotel in Perth. She “dared to care” and we are forever grateful. Outstanding service.

Went in to buy snorkelling gear. The staff member was excellent at helping me and my partner find the correct size goggles for us. Very helpful.

First time customer. Rented some gear for over Christmas. The lady who helped me rent the equipment and the gentleman who checked it back in were both fantastic.

No egos, no attitude just really nice staff and great gear. Only dive shop I will go to now

Huge thanks to the Dive Locker crew and especially Peggy with whom I completed the Open Water Diver course. The whole experience was a blast and Peggy made our small group of four feel relaxed and comfortable every step of the way. The Rottnest dive was the highlight for me and I strongly encourage anyone who's interested to take the plunge!

Massive Thanks to the crew at Dive Locker Freo with helping to get me through my Advanced course in time for me to tick off a bucket list dive on The HMAS Swan.
The efforts put in by Ricky and Braedon over the weekend made for a fun and engaging course. The flexibility in tailoring my dives around my interests made for a quality experience to build my confidence in areas I previously struggled with.
Including my Enriched Air Diver course as an addition was well worth the extra efforts.

I had the best time doing my Open Water Dive course with Ricky and the team! Ricky was an amazing instructor who is very informative and overall helped me to keep my breathing under control and relaxed on our day 3 dive. Day 3 was definitely a highlight with the dive at Rotto. Will definitely be going back and the shop has everything you’ll need!

I completed my open-water dive course at Dive Locker Fremantle with Instructor Braedon. Braedon was very patient, funny and took additional time to answer any questions you had. I am now looking forward to further my diving experience with the Club dives. If you are contemplating learning to dive - I urge you to do it. You will not regret it.

Just finished my Padi course with the Braeden - he was excellent, the gear was good and importantly we were all instructed in a relaxed and caring manner.
