Adventure in the treetops at Dwellingup A big thank you to Hayden and Shea at the treetops adventure company. We had a fun morning with Hayden and Shea on 6th March. It was a particularly hot morning, when I got dehydrated doing one of the runs, I was given immediate assistance so that I was able to recover and continue my adventure doing the red and black runs. This is one of our favourite places to visit. We have visited on average twice a year for the last 6 years.

For us it is always fun, always challenging and always very safety focused.

We are novice climbers who aren’t great with heights. Our favourite course is the red course. It’s the longest and has a lot of fun challenges which aren’t too physically demanding. The zip line course is also a lot of fun.

Great for beginners and experienced participants. Ropes courses and ziplines with safety gear in very good condition and attentive staff to assist.

Strongly recommend this adventure to everyone. 😻We had a super fun weekend climbing the trees and zip lining, but we were mainly impressed about the instructors as they were exceptionally polite and professional. Thank you Treetops!

The staff were all lovely and happy to help! Its a nice scenic drive to get there as well.

Would have given it a five star except for two minor issues.the vertical ladder start can put nervous kids off as it did with one of ours,but the other child was up it like an extra from planet of the apes.and the other minor inconvenience was not enough staff so getting a coffee was a long wait, maybe pack a flask next time we go.as far as safety goes way better than a few others we have been too,both overseas and in Australia. Definitely worth a visit keeps kids entertained for hrs and best part is the silence driving home when the tired munchkins doze off.

We went here with two kids aged 7 and 9 and had an absolute blast!

The staff are lovely and go through the training and safety thoroughly and are so willing to help.

You can spend as long as you need on the training area (which is on the ground) so even if you are a total newbie you can practice until you feel comfortable or make sure you feel your kids are capable before they begin.

There are plenty of courses of all difficulty levels (the advanced black course looks absolutely brilliant although my kids were too young to try it just yet).

Lots of variety in obstacles and heaps of fun ziplines to try with a max height of 25 meters.

Add in the beautiful scenery, picnic areas and the fact that there is a great camp ground down the road this is an absolute must for everyone.

Highly recommended.

I enjoyed the thrill of overcoming the obstacles on your own without the instructors being intrusive whilst still knowing that they would be quick to react should you encounter a difficult situation

New Year's Eve Ziplining! Went with friends on the eve of New Years and had a blast. 2 hours attempting all the various obstacles and zip lines were not enough! The instructors conduct safety and familiarity lessons prior to you going up the trees.

What I enjoyed most was knowing I was safe without instructors being intrusive but also that they were quick to respond should you find yourself in a tricky situation. Do plan your time carefully especially when driving from the city. My friends and I almost got lost.

Don't be silly and bring your phones up with you, keep them safe in the locker and rent a go-pro on site or bring your own. Enjoy the time and be safe!

Had a wonderful time with my 8 year old daughter. Unfortunately it was a very hot day so we did not stay as long as anticipated but the staff were wonderful by allowing us extended breaks (and therefore extended time on our booking if we needed it). Our trainer was Shaun and he was very welcoming and clear in his instructions, providing us with all the safety details and skills we needed to have a safe and fulfilling experience. The courses themselves are fun and challenging; it is clear safety is a top priority ensuring we were anchored to a rope at all times. We will definitely be back when it is much cooler to finish off the courses we didn't get around to. Highly recommend this experience.

I’m afraid of heights! But I felt very safe, the training, induction and explanation of the 3 point tethered system gave me the confidence to give it a try. Once I started I didn’t want to stop. Looking forward to doing it again and share the experience with friends and family!!!

Enough challenge to be fun OK 90 min drive from Perth but totally worth it. Went with kids - 11yo and 15yo. Great inservice at start - it seems quite complicated and fiddly but it becomes second nature very quickly. I dont like heights and even going on the kids zip line course to start had me feeling uncertain. But they had about 6 zip lines in a row and by the finish I felt totally confident with the equipment. In the 'extreme' black course we took the easy way out of the most difficult section and hooked up the zip line - not even the teenagers could get through it. 2.5 hrs proved not long enough to do every course - so will have to go back!

The location and crew are great! So are the different tracks. Not enough time, managed only 2 tracks, 2.5 hours, because of supervising the younger kids. Family of 5, 2 adults and 3 kids 21, 11 and 5. Price is a bit high, 270 AUD...

So much fun! You will always expect the unexpected!

Really enjoyed the entire experience, my hubby and myself did one green course, one blue course, and one zipline within 2 hours! We will definitely come back again with friends and family to unlock the other courses.

Well worth the journey, the kids had a great time on the junior course. It was a real confidence boost as they got to grips with the different elements and by the third go around, could manage it all themselves (ages 5 & 6).
Update: 6 years later the kids are 11 & 12, had a brilliant time, managed their first red course and we all loved the blue run that was zip line after zip line. Even on a warm day (32) it was nice and cool in the trees, shady with a light breeze. The staff were very friendly again, genuinely nice, helped the kids relax. The 2.5 hours went so quick, was glad we brought some sandwiches. Was thinking about camping here there's some nice looking sites next to here. But even with the 1.5 hour drive from Perth and back, we thought it was well worth it.

A magnificent experience for young kids! Miss 6 and Mr 4 both proudly conquered the two kids courses. They navigated the courses completely independently several times each. They are looking forward to visiting again when they are tall enough for the big kid courses. The equipment was in great condition and all the staff were lovely.

The different climbing routes and climbing experiences, how thoroughly the staff go over how to use the clips, the extra safety of the dual clips (with one being locked at all times), and how friendly the staff are. The staff are also quick and efficient when responding to someone who needed help on the courses. All round a great experience.

This was our first time at any tree top climb and we were unsure what to expect.
But the whole experience was fantastic, the climbing had great variation of challenges from fun to extreme and pushing the limits

We had two kids that both did varying levels of difficulty.
The set up meant that we didn’t need to worry about when the eldest when he took off once confident with the harness system, as you can not be exposed to a fall.
Our 13yr was old completed the extreme course, being 13 gave the advantage as it was far more difficult than it looked.

All of Staff were super friendly, and were always around if anyone needed assistance.
The whole set up was far more scenic than expected, the courses left the bush in a natural state, so gave a true bush experience

I have convinced my kids to do this again, as I didn’t get to do all the climbs, mainly because we did some twice as were fun

I had a big group booking with four different sessions.
We kept changing the number of climbers in the lead up to the event. Even on the day there was a lot of confusion created by our group and the staff were awesome and worked through everything without complaint.
Best of all no one missed out and everyone had a ball

Spent the afternoon here well approx 3 hours, for someone who doesn't like heights I have to say it was the most amazing time ever. Grandkids loved it too. Definitely coming back as we want to attempt the harder courses next time. Definitely worth the visit and time versus price it's worth every cent. Staff also very friendly and helpful.

Fantastic place for kids and adults. Well worth a visit. Once you’ve paid you could go round the course as many times as you like in the 2 hours. My son loved it.
They also have toilets and a kiosk with snacks and drinks.

Fantastic, amazing time, I would thoroughly recommend it. The staff were friendly and professional and the climbing was progressively challenging. You do need a head for heights and be able bodied. This is the second time I've been and also the second time my wife had to be rescued! hahaha ????

But main reason I wanted to leave a review was to say how great all the staff were! 2 young lads and a girl, all really nice and helpful and interacted brilliantly with my daughters who were both a little nervous!

The training is comprehensive and useful. My kids loved their experience at Treetops Adventure Dwellingup! It was challenging and fun for all of us, and my first time doing this. I went with the 8 year old while hubby (not keen on heights) supervised the 3.5 year old on the younger kids' courses from the ground.

We had 5 people varying ages and abilities and all had a fabulous time! The staff were great with the safety briefing and always around if we needed help and were very encouraging

Friendly staff and attentive to make sure we know how to maneuver around.
Done with 11yo boy and 13 yo girl, we gone through the basic green and blue track, and also also a blue track filled with almost 7-8 ziplines. Making one feel like being a tarzan.

Seeing time almost up so wanted to try the Black track but staff recommended me to go with the red since it was my first time. Red was kind of tricky as compared to previous 2 colours, lucky i did not choose the black.
Overall experience was great, first of a kind for me.

Amazing staff Caitlin was amazing she taught our 4 year old with patience and success. She gave her confidence to give it a go and she was so proud to tell her how well she did afterwards all staff were amazing.

An awesome experience - for around $50 pp you get access to 2.5 hrs (including training) of courses of various difficulties.
I recommend buying tickets on their website and filling the waiver form online.
Staff were very friendly, patient, and accommodating.
A must-visit for anyone in the area or passing by!

We had our 3 and 6 year old for their junior challenge. The obstacles are set realistically for my children and both had great fun that day. For a price you can stay for 2 hours and unlimited times of attempt.
The staff that assisted with us is absolutely friendly and amazing, putting the harness on my 3 year old were a little anxious but he was very good to interact with my boys and make them feel very comfortable.
We will return with adults next time as we challenge ourselves with the adult obstacles.
The only lost of star is early in the morning the toilet stinks with urine around the bowl and no toilet roll. Otherwise it was rather perfect!

Such a good experience for adults and kids. Only two of us, in our 30s and had heaps of fun! Red to black routes are the most challangeing and the ultimate black was genuinely hard and a good challange. Monkey bars 20m up!

The routes, infrastructure, obstacles, equipment and staff were all 5 star...everything was top notch and felt super safe. Instructors did an excellent job at clearly communicating eveything and making you feel welcome. Sorry I have forgot the names but 08th April 2022 11am you know who you are.

Ohh it's hard to plan this but if you are behind 5 kids on a red run it may take a while waiting so try plan your time and routes if you can.

Some pointers. You can't take anything up with you for health and safety like phones etc as they would be a distraction or drop hazard, on-site lockers are provided to store valuables. No food on site. Get there at minimum 15min early. We had plenty of time to do 4-5 routes. You do need some strength to complete the courses, it can be hard work!

I don't write heaps of reviews but this place was 5 star.

Good staff The staff were very helpful and we were able to get through courses with minimal wait times. The staff let us do another short course when we had to wait for them to help someone ahead of us.

Thoroughly recommend doing treetops adventure I went with my 2 young girls 8 & 9 & they loved it especially the zip lines, I will be back & try some harder courses next time.

Brilliant fun... Have been wanting to go for a while and finally has the chance. Had a great time. Courses were challenging and luckily chose a time that wasn't too busy considering it was school holidays. The zip line course was a bit of a hidden gem. Great idea for kids

Great adventure for family! Australia day 2021 well spent with the family with a bit of adventure! The whole family had a great time. The course/obstacles are very well put together. The staff were very helpful and polite. Will visit again soon.

First time zip lining A perfect combination of using your physical strength with your mental ability. Children are away from screens and feel rejuvenated and refreshed after a ziplining session in the trees.

One of the best experiences we ever had!!!! We had the zip line experience in NZ but this one was something else. They teach you and then you are doing all by yourself. The challenges are designed so well that it’s impossible for you to make a mistake and if you stuck in the middle of challenges friendly staffs will reach you in a very short amount of time which is quite impressive. Two hours of fun and I cannot wait to go back!
