Living Legends as part of Show Me Melbourne Tours My husband and I did the Living Legends tour with Owner Jess. An ideal option if you have no transport in Melbourne. We were conveniently picked up from our hotel. On boarding we realised we were the only participants. This did not however deter Jess from the exercise.. She said that she loves taking this tour just to see the horses for herself!
Very comfy transport in a Mercedes van with our own personal tour guide! On arrival at the homestead we could have a look around then had a lovely Devonshire tea prior to the actual tour starting. You join the "Living Legends" tour with loads of carrots and .buggy transport if needed. Otherwise it is an easy walk from paddock to paddock engaging with the likes of Apache Cat, Brew(almost 30!),The Cleaner, Bohemeth amongst many others!
If you have a love for horses it is a hoot. All questions can be answered by either Jess or the Legends tour guide. We thoroughly enjoyed it and came away with some great pics. Our bonus was meeting the delightful Kate(volunteer) and her Rottweiler who offered her assistance in calling Bohemeth to the fence. He and many of the others come for the dog experience and her liquorice!!!!
On completion of the tour Jess returned us to the city and even dropped us off in an area that we requested. We would have no hesitation in recommending Jess and her tour company for this and any of the other tours that sounded great.

Ethan was fantastic very friendly and offered great suggestions. The venues were absolutely fabulous. Now need to explore the rest on the list. It doesn’t matter if you’re a local or visiting you’ll have a great time and maybe learn a little of Melbourne history too

Our hidden bar tour with Jess will be a memory for us to cherish. We learned so much about Melbourne history and I can’t wait to bring people back and share our new found knowledge (and even do another tour with Jess)! A no brainer must do tour if you are visiting Melbourne or a Melbourne local not knowing cool places to hang out . Our guide Lucas was awesome and lots of fun Venues are super cool and places you would never find on your own . Tasty snacks and amazing cocktails that kept getting better at each hidden bar . Highly recommended and excellent value !!!

This tour was one of the best tours ive ever been on! Ethan was amazing as was his photographer Imogen. The other people on our group were amazing too! Ethan took my group of 4 people along with another 3 people to a few different bars, explained the history behind each place while we had our cocktails. Food was eaten while we enjoyed the company. Ethan was very friendly and informative. I'll definitely be doing this again (as they mix it up each time) next time i come to Melbourne. Well done guys! You absolutely rock ????

We recently did the Hidden Bar tour around Melbourne. It was fabulous. What a surprise to find so many hidden bars hidden around the streets of Melbourne! Each bar had its own story to tell & our tour guide Jess was so knowledgeable on the History of Melbourne- it was fascinating & so much fun discovering what was behind the Bar doors. Not to mention the delicious cocktails & spirits. Highly recommend this tour not just for holiday makers but it would be a fantastic experience to gift a friend.

Jess and her team surpassed all expectations. We did the hidden bar tour and it was so much fun. Lots of fun bits of history while enjoying some of beautiful cocktails. We also did the walking city tour to take in the sights of the city. Our guide was kind and patient and knew a lot about the history of the city. Lastly, we enjoyed a full day experience taking in the Great Ocean Road . Wow!!! What breath taking views ! Our guide was awesome !

Tamara was an amazing tour guide, as a local Melbournian she was super knowledgeable about all things Melbourne and gave us heaps of locals insight! The tour itself was lots of fun - especially getting to drive around and see the different AFL teams' training grounds.

My husband and I had an impromptu date night and Jess was so accommodating to enable us to join a tour that evening. Josh was so knowledgeable about Melbourne's history and knew so many interesting places! He also had some fantastic stories and personal insights which he shared through the night. Hidden bars, cocktails and a fun night out! We really enjoyed this tour. The meet up location was easy to find and the bars were all very close. The guide was very polite, informative and friendly. The three bars we visited were all very different and definitely hidden. My only criticism was that for the tour cost I feel more food and perhaps another cocktail should be included. I did like that the guide had inside knowledge and could recommend cocktails. The food that we did receive was delicious. It would've been nice to visit another bar, three was great but four would've been even better. We really enjoyed this tour and would highly recommend it.

Ballarat Private Tour - Sovereign Hill Jess provided a excellent tour of Sovereign Hill and Ballarat surrounds going the extra mile to show the old architecture of Ballarat.

We could not fault the tour Jess's efforts and knowledge that she passed on to two older Australians already well versed on our history. We learnt a lot.

My mother suprised me with the shopping tour for my birthday. It was an amazing day and a great way to see Melbourne. Jess knew her stuff when it came to Melbourne and we learned so much! Would highly recommend this experience!

Great tour with a very knowledgeable guide in Tamara. Even though we are locals we still learnt a lot about Melbourne. Slighty disappointed with not getting into Flemington race course. We hope you can get this sorted out with the VRC

We enjoyed a fabulous evening with Ethan on the Hidden Bars Tour. We really liked all three bars we visited, and we would never have located them on our own. The drinks menu at each location was good, and the “bar snacks” were more than ample and enough that we didn’t need dinner afterwards. We highly recommend Show Me Melbourne.

We had a wonderful day and our guides showed us ever so much. The enormity of the sports places we saw was amazing and everything was so well explained. We highly recommend this company and due to some unforeseen circumstances our tour had to be changed twice (once due to covid) so it took two years to get to do it, but it wasn't a problem. They made sure we were comfortable and accommodated at all times, as we are older people, made sure we did the tours at our pace. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you ever so much

The experience as a whole was great. Very dissapointed we did not go into Flemington due to the Royal Show. Also extremely dissapointed that MCG tour did not include players change rooms. Tour guide Tamara was very good. Not her fault.

Absolutely fantastic. Easy stroll around Melbourne, into doors that I have passed many times. So much history to learn. Jess has passion for Melbournes history and this came across. I cannot speak highly enough of Jess and Tamara (our host for the night). Leading up to our booked event Jess did everything he could to make the process as positive and smooth as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. What an experience we had. Tamara met us at our accommodation and took us on a magical tour through three fantastic little bars on the Melbourne CBD. There are so many wonderful bars in the city and we had just a small taste but it was a brilliant night. Very entertaining and a lot of fun. Tamara even walked us to the place we had booked for dinner. She was brilliant and knowledgeable. GinFlight We had a fabulous day on our Gin Flight. Discovered places I’d never heard of and tasted some beautiful Gin.
A relaxing day with a beautiful lunch provided.
Our guide was friendly and it was a lovely way to spend time reconnecting with friends after so long. Lots of laughs and drinks. We honestly didn’t want to come home.

Gin flight We went on the gin flight and were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the places we went to. I couldn't have discovered these gems myself. Great food, great company and of course fabulous gin! We weren't rushed and had ample time to relax and enjoy our surrounds.

I recently did the Lunch with Living Legends Tour with Show Me Melbourne tours. It was fantastic and we had such a beautiful day patting, feeding and learning about all the different racehorses on site. Jess and Tamara were great hosts. The tour ran very smoothly and you could tell that they were passionate about what they do. Given it was a smaller group, I felt that we got a more personalised experience exploring the Homestead and surrounds which was really cool. Hidden Bars Tour I thought I knew a lot of the bars in Melbourne, but I do not. Behind the most inconspicuous doors, in quiet laneways are those intimate bars that we search out for taking someone special or just show off to your friends that you know the hip places!! If you want to know these places, then this is the tour for you. Loved learning about how the bar came into existence (Melbourne has a very chequered history), not to mention the delicious cocktails. Tour guide was very knowledgeable about the bars and Melbourne in general. Great night.

MCG and Brewery tour After a technical hitch in February we had rebooked our Sporting tour with brewery tasting for today. And can I say what a great day we both had. Tamara our driver was very knowledgeable as was Jess. The flemington race course was outstanding with the great sunny day. A trip around part of the Albert Park F1 track in the Hiace at full noise lol. Then off to the MCG for a sporting tour with Rod our guide who was great and showed and explained everything to us. Then a very nice lunch at a pub in Richmond followed by a beer tasting. A most enjoyable day and we are looking forward to booking another tour in the future. Thank you guys for a very memorable day. We highly recommend this tour.

The tour is very relaxed and casual with little time pressures to keep moving on.

We were disappointed that we couldn’t get into the band rooms at the Corner Hotel, Richmond and the Gershwin Room at the Espy, St Kilda for a behind the scenes look.

Melbourne Outlet Shopping Tour Outlets were great. Traffic not so great. Seemed to backtrack a few times. Lunch venue was nice and quiet. Food hit the spot.
