Join us for a fully guided day tour, exploring the highlights of Ningaloo Reef and Cape Range National Park – the best of reef and range, all in one day.
Your day begins with pick up from your Exmouth accommodation just before 7am. Your guide will greet you with the coffee or tea of your choice (hot chocolate or juice also available), to enjoy during the drive into Cape Range National Park and our first destination: Yardie Creek (approx. 1 hour 10 minutes). Along the way your guide will provide commentary on the natural and human history of the area, and you may be lucky enough to spot some of the local wildlife: emu, dingo, wallaroos or birds of prey. Upon arrival at Yardie Creek, your guide will brief you on the walk here, which is 2km return and will take 1-1.5 hours. There’s no need to rush here, as you navigate a couple of rocky scrambles with the help of your guide, spot black-flanked rock wallabies, osprey, and shore birds, and stop for photo ops.
Following some morning tea, we’ll then take the 20 minute drive up the coast to Turquoise Bay for a guided drift snorkel at one of Western Australia’s most famous beaches. Your guide will be with you every step of the way, and after fitting you out with snorkel gear, a snorkel and safety briefing, they’ll head into the water with you to point out beautiful corals and marine life. You can expect to see hundreds of colourful reef fish here, vibrant corals, and perhaps even a turtle or reef shark as you drift along with the current.
All of this adventurous activity means you will have worked up an appetite, so following our snorkel at Turquoise Bay we head up to the Milyering Visitor centre where your guide will prepare a fresh lunch while you take a look at the informative displays or the gift shop.
We then make our way back into Exmouth town, with a stop at the Vlamingh Head Lighthouse along the way, to take in the panoramic views of reef, range and Exmouth Gulf.
Your guide will farewell you at your accommodation around 3pm with a promise to have some photos of your adventure available soon for you to enjoy.

Our group WEA from NSW experienced 5 days of kayaking along turquoise reef coastline. The turtles, sting rays and a multitude of fish were in abundance. Each cove we paddled into we would snorkel and have a picnic.
Our camp behind the dunes was very well set up with clean comfortable tents and the bush kitchen was always dishing out delicious food.
The hiking was equally amazing as we were surrounded but the ancient fossilised landscape.
Our guides Neri and Jules were nothing but professional, hard working, fun wonder women who made sure our adventure was out of this world.
Weather was perfect, Nick and Clayton were friendly and helpful and the reef swim was beautiful.
Also, thanks for sharing photos from the day with us - great mementos - and a special mention for Ally in the office who made sure the whole family could go on the same tour.
From start to finish, everything was incredibly well organized and enjoyable. Our guide, Julia, was truly awesome—super friendly, knowledgeable, and made everyone feel completely at ease. She genuinely wanted each of us to have the best experience possible.
We went to two snorkel locations and I saw everything I wanted to see , lots of marine life, coral and a turtle! We stopped for a break between the two sites and snacks were provided which even included gluten free for me.
On the return trip back to town Jules also took the time to stop at a beach where we saw turtles swimming in the sea. Also great to see photos from the tour on the company’s website. Perfect end to a lovely day.
We also rented a wetsuit from them on another day and also here very friendly and professional and super smooth! Recommend for hiring gear too!
Our favorite part of the tour was the snorkel. Visibility was great and there was lots to see despite being close to shore. Water was a little choppy but Jules provided pool noodles/ life jackets and wet suits to those who needed them.
Cheers
I felt this company could support our needs from the first time I made contact, and Neil definitely had all the right skills and intricate knowledge for us to enjoy our day fully. It was worth every cent; from the drinks on arrival, to the warm hugs at drop off. Each of us had all our expectations met for this much anticipated tour.
Thank you Neil and Exmouth Advebture Co for an extraordinary day!
Neri - our guide was amazing - extremely knowledgeable about the wildlife and the history of the area. She also took some fantastic photos (see attached) and distributed them to the group.
Highly recommended
Thanks for the vote if you found this review helpful.
Our experiences on and under the water were above expectations, as were the meals, and our tent accommodation was very comfortable.
We had a great holiday and a hugely fun time.
They provide good food during the tour which is very handy ????.
The guide also takes pictures during the day, including under water, and you can get them on their website at the end of the day, which is very professional, and will look great on your social media posts ????
We saw many different wild animals, and had a lot of fun, especially water activities.
Definitely book your tour in Exmouth with Exmouth Adventure Co ????
Reached the Yardie Creek Gorge discovering black flanked wallabies, osprey, bats and so much more. The spectacular rust coloured walls, cool pristine waters and habitat were stunning. The small group made the day feel like you were experiencing it with friends. Morning tea of delicious snacks prepared us for the next stop Turquoise Bay for an hour’s snorkelling in the sublime crystal clear waters.
The adventure went up a notch with every type of coloured fish imaginable wherever you looked. We saw green turtles, an enormous cow tailed sting ray, sleeping white tipped reef sharks and so much more.
Thank you Neil and Exmouth Adventure Co for a phenomenal day.
Barry and Lara ????????????
Wow , what a lovely place to see and go kayaking
The guides , Haley and Catia really looked after us.
They are a wealth of knowledge on the reef , the animals , fish as well skilled kayak operators . They cooked and prepared all the meals and I really enjoyed them.
The camp site is the same each night so you don’t have to put up a tent , so we moved up the lagoon each day exploring the reef system and seeing heaps of aquatic life
One day , due to strong winds/ high seas , we went inland for a walk through 2 gorges seeing the black faced wallaby’s, Osprey eagles and some amazing rock colours
Great trip and really enjoyed the Exmouth , Cape Range, Ningaloo reef areas
