Walk for a while in the steps of traditional Aboriginal life, discovering an ancient and inspiring culture in Kinjarling Boodja.

This tour follows the paths walked by the Menang people to Quaranup (Kwooranup – place of brush tail wallaby) to see ancient stone structures, waterholes, artefacts, engravings and flora and fauna.
Travel around the coast of Kinjarling (Albany), to the Quaranup Cultural Site. Walk along the beach or dunes to ancient engravings and tool quarry sites. Tides permitting, guests can walk out and look for shellfish amongst the rocks.
Hear the Dreaming stories of the area spending 2 hours sharing cultural wisdom, walking, activities, photos and connecting with country.
Meet at the end of Quaranup Road at the entrance gates to Camp Quaranup.

- It is recommended to wear covered shoes and a hat
- Please bring drinking water in your own water bottle and a packed lunch
- There may be limited access to toilets on location, so please ask for directions to the toilets before the tour begins
CANCELLATION POLICY
- You can cancel up to 48 hours in advance of the experience for a full refund
- For a full refund, you must cancel at least 48 hours before the experience’s start time
- If you cancel less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time, the amount you paid will not be refunded
- Any changes made less than 48 hours before the experience’s start time will not be accepted
- Cut-off times are based on the experience’s local time
- This experience requires good weather. If it’s canceled due to poor weather, you’ll be offered a different date or a full refund
- This experience requires a minimum number of travelers. If it’s canceled because the minimum isn’t met, you’ll be offered a different date/experience or a full refund

Kurrah Mia Booking Terms & Conditions
All bookings are made with the Kurrah Mia Pty Ltd (ABN 98 629 441 934). All bookings must be paid in full, in advance.
Fees and Charges: All prices are quoted in Australian dollars (inclusive of GST).
Cancellation Policy: Kurrah Mia has a Cancellation Policy in place which protects our clients (you), and our business.
Cancellation Fees for general reservations include:
• 30+ days prior to commencement of tour with Kurrah Mia: full refund of total price.
• 15 to 29 days prior to commencement of tour with Kurrah Mia: 75% refund of total price.
• Within 2 to 14 days of commencement of tour with Kurrah Mia: 50% refund of total price
• Less than 48 hours of commencement of tour with Kurrah Mia: No refund applicable
*Our Cancellation Policy for Group Tours (bookings of 5 or more persons) is available on request by emailing info@kurrahmia.com.au
If a confirmed tour guest fails to join a tour, join it after departure, or leave it prior to its completion, no refund will be made.
The above cancellation fees are in addition to fees which may be levied by inbound tour operators, travel agents or third-party tour and transport operator fees.
*It is highly recommended that individual guests take out Travel Insurance / Cancellation Insurance at the time of booking, which may cover cancellation fees. If a guest or group leaves a tour for any reason after it has commenced, Kurrah Mia is not obliged to make any refunds for unused services.
Occupational Health & Safety: Please note Kurrah Mia adheres to Australian Federal OH&S policy requirements inclusive of safety; food handling procedures; and the likes as identified in the Kurrah Mia Occupational Health and Safety Policy.
Changes to Itinerary: Kurrah Mia reserves the right to make appropriate changes to the itinerary if circumstances are beyond our control.
Minimum Numbers: If a tour does not have two or more people, Kurrah Mia reserves the right to offer an alternative date or a refund of the booking/s. All efforts will be made to contact the relevant parties should changes be required.
Weather Condition Factors: Should there be a weather warning issued by the Australian Bureau of Meteorology, Kurrah Mia may determine that it is unsafe to conduct a tour or activity. We reserve the right to cancel any affected bookings, with no liability held against Kurrah Mia by the customer for any losses incurred.
Unforeseen Circumstances: In the unlikely event of an unforeseen circumstance e.g. location emergency, weather episode, natural disaster, mechanical breakdown etc., Kurrah Mia will endeavor to provide an alternate location, transport etc. as soon as is practical if there is a significant delay pending as a result. Kurrah Mia will not be held liable for any losses or inconveniences incurred by the customer as a result of these unforeseen circumstances.
Clothing, Footwear, Accessories: All participating individuals are responsible for ensuring the appropriate clothing and footwear is considered for the tour or activity being undertaken.
Outdoor walking tours and activities may require warm or protective clothing, comfortable, enclosed footwear and a hat.
Sunscreen, insect repellent, bottled water and a camera is also highly recommended.
Damage to the Environment or Property: The client/participant is responsible for his/her own conduct and indemnifies Kurrah Mia for all costs, expenses, damage or loss of property caused by any act made by the client or the client’s guests.
All participating individuals are responsible for ensuring the appropriate conduct in activity and natural environments (inclusive or flora and fauna), and the prevention of any negative impact due to waste, overuse, inappropriate behaviour or noise.
