Perfect day with an amazing crew! We went to Exmouth in August, and not only were our crew all super friendly and amazing at managing the tour, but so generous with hospitality and making sure we were all looked after in terms of food/hot drinks. The guides are super knowledgeable and pointed out so many cool things other than the (awesome) whale sharks, like sting rays and leopard sharks. Highly reccomend!

Had a fantastic day on the boat (Shack Attack). Crew were wonderful - Connor, Frey and the (name escapes me) photographer (who did an awesome job and supplied excellent photos). Captain worked hard to position the boat and crew did great job preparing us for the swim with whale sharks. It’s clearly not an easy task, but they made the whole experience enjoyable and I think even if we had not seen the big spotty fish it would have still been a great day on the water. Lunch could be better, but still a 5 star rating and very happy to have selected edc for our big day out. Travel tip: The better swimmer you are the more enjoyable the day will be, but the crew are all diver and rescue trained (not something all the companies offer apparently).

We did a whale shark trip in the first week of August. What an incredible day on the water.
We had flat seas, sparkling sunshine and a spectacular day out.
We were lucky enough to find a juvenile male Whale shark who was very cooperative, having 6 or 7 separate swims with him.
Asa the captain of Blue Strike did an incredible job both spotting and manoeuvring around the shark (& lots of other sea creatures), the dive guides Emma and Izzy were super friendly, but incredibly professional in the way they organised us in the water. Ricardo did a fantastic job getting us in and out safely (and educating us on the marine life we were seeing) and Alberts photography was outstanding.
We also got the opportunity to swim with Manta Rays who were just passing by, and while in the water with them, we were blessed with a couple of pods of Humpbacks just cruising by!!!
A truly special experience.
On the way back to the jetty, Asa found us a Dugong to watch, as well as a small tiger shark that our guides revelled in having a snorkel with.
Lunch was delicious and plentiful (as was morning tea!)

A fantastic day all round and I could not rate the staff more highly for their care, assistance and attention to safety details.

Amazing experience swimming with Humpbacks and Whale Sharks Me and my partner went on this tour the last week of July. I really can't say enough good things about the tour and the crew. The day we went was quite windy and choppy, but even with that taken into account we were able to have an amazing experience. We had a humpback whale swim incredibly close past us and then were lucky enough to be able to swim along a whale shark who stayed near the surface for nearly 20 minutes. An incredible experience. The staff were professional, funny and down to earth. I highly recommend this tour!

We recently booked a snorkel tour to the Muiron Islands with the expectation of seeing “gorgeous soft coral” and “ diversity of marine life”, quoted from the website. Unfortunately the site we were taken too was far from this.

The visibility was reasonably good however both snorkel sites we visited were more appropriate for diving rather than snorkelling. The seabed and “coral” (unsure if it was even coral as it was so far away) were around 10 meters below the surface which made it difficult to see anything when snorkelling, and even when duck diving. The “coral” looked dull and sparse with little marine life present- two fish. Even if the coral was closer to us it would still be disappointing as it was just brown. Our whole group asked to go in early at both snorkel sites as we were just treading water for no reason, with the boat far away from us.

Overall, we found the tour to be misleading and falsely advertised . If you enjoy snorkelling looking into the deep blue ocean with a view of a blurry brown rock, then this is for you !!! If you’re looking for, “gorgeous soft coral” and “diversity marine life” , I would highly recommend visiting Turquoise Bay instead. It’s free, easy to access from the shore, and offers an abundance of colourful coral, fish, turtles, and even stingrays just a short swim from the beach.

This was a disappointing and costly experience that I would not recommend for snorkellers, or anyone for that matter.

Amazing Tours and Crew! I did the PADI Open Water Dive Course and I had such a great time.
My diving instructor Beca was amazing, she was so kind and patient and made me feel safe all while teaching me all the essentials of diving. The dive masters in training that accompanied us were also so caring and knowledgeable. I got to see some great wildlife on the dives and it was such a fun experience. I did a fun dive with them after I got my open water and again had a great time. I would 100% do it again!

Don't book this trip for snorkelling! We booked this as a snorkelling trip, but could not have been more disappointed with the in water experience. The crew were very helpful and professional and the food and equipment were excellent. We had 2 snorkel drops. Both were in very deep water and it was too murky to see anything but fuzzy outlines. There was little to see (1 small school of fish and 1 blurry turtle). We got near a bommie once and could see a lot of fish, but got called away as it was unsafe to be so close to the reef edge. Our whole group came in early because there was nothing to see. I believe the scuba divers had a much better experience. The day was only saved by seeing lots of humpbacks on the way to and from the islands.

I did a Whaleshark trip and a Snorkelling trip with them to the outer reefs. I was on the Whaleshark as an observer and I really appreciate the great service from the team! The captain of the Jazz, Nick. The photographer, Albert and my water guides Izzy and Emma were excellent on the first trip. We even got to see humpback whales and a Whaleshark that came close to the surface of the boat.

Snorkelling was also very well managed with the divers and I had a great time with my two snorkelling sessions.

I can't recommend this experience highly enough!! I had the opportunity to swim with the Whalesharks in Apr-25. All the staff were professional, friendly and informative (guides, skipper, deckhand, photographer). Fully inclusive package and overall an awesome day out on the water!! Definitely recommend this tour operator if you have the opportunity!!

Caring Staff My partner and I went on the Deluxe Mega Founa Humpback and Whaleshark Swim at Ningaloo Reef in late October 2024. It was a very choppy day and I was a bit worried about my swimming abilities but Lyn was so kind and caring and stayed with me until I was relaxed.

Never again I booked and paied in the shop for a tour next day. During the night I became sick and was not able to dive the next morning. I met up the guide 07:15 and asked him to call the office what had happend.
Later when I came to the shop I got an option to dive some days later. I told them I had a flight and could not stay. Asked for some form of refund (at least a part). But the manager denied.

We had a superb days scuba diving at the Murion Islands with these guys. Excellent guides and divemasters, competent boat handling, lots of space for gear setup.

And the coral, oh the coral….

Do yourself a favour. If your a diver, make a pilgrimage up to Exmouth and go and see the Murion Islands.

We had the most incredible day swimming with whale sharks, and it was all thanks to the amazing crew! My husband and our three kids had an unforgettable experience. From start to finish, the team made sure we felt safe and supported, and their attention to detail was outstanding. The crew went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable, well looked after, and well fed throughout the day. It was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure, and we couldn't have asked for a better experience for our family. Highly recommend!

I recently completed my first dive with Anais and Matti it was an unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional.

The instructors were knowledgeable and patient, making sure that I understood all the necessary techniques before we entered the water. During the dive, they were attentive and supportive, guiding us through the beautiful underwater scenery. I felt safe and confident thanks to their expertise.

We can only agree with the previous ratings. We booked the whale shark experience. From the beginning, with advice and booking in the shop, to the end with the drop-off service, this experience was fantastic. We cannot emphasize enough how outstanding the entire team was.

Special thanks goes to Lynn, who helped me go from being basically terrified and just wanting to watch from the boat to actually snorkeling in the reef and swimming with the whale sharks. She took such good care of us and went above and beyond to make sure I felt safe in the water at all times!

We saw dolphins playing next to the boat, humpback whales and their calves doing acrobatics, and so many beautiful fish as well. The skipper ensured we had the best views of the animals. By the end of the tour on our ride to the bay, we had a super interesting and fun whaleshark lesson by Ricardo and could ask any questions about the animals and reef overall. The food was perfect and plenty! But as I said, EVERYBODY on the team was just 110% amazing. We are so thankful for this experience and will cherish it for the rest of our lives!

PADI open water diver course I had the best experience with the crew on 'Shack'!
Tyler, the Skipper was fun and professional which made the days even more enjoyable & fun.
Sara W, my dive instructor was a great teacher. Adept at diving and able to pass on her knowledge in a fun environment whilst keeping her students safe. Providing her students with the skills to explore the ocean depths safely and all with a smile on her face.

Formal and Fish with a Whale as a surprise The weather played a factor as it was very choppy once at the island and snorkling was hard work but some lovely coral and fish seen but after 20mins we had enough. Others did go in second time. But we did see Humpbacks and a number of breaches on the way back. All the crew were great and looked after everyone. Shame about the weather

5 Dives in 3 Days all very different.
The coral and marine life was amazing, exceeded all my expectations.
Whales, turtles, Manta rays, sea snakes, Wobigon, reef sharks and a bout any fish you can imagine, just awesome.

THE place to do your PADI ! We did the Padi with Meg as instructor. Everything was fantastic ! We felt safe and well guided during our practice. Meg was absolutely great, took the time for every questions, explained well. As she always asked, we can say that "every one's happy with that"! Rest of the crew were great as well, took care of us. We spend two lovely day on the boat.

Open Water Dive Course Completing my open water dive certification with Anais was a great experience coupled with the wonderful scenery and mastery of understanding and presentation of skills presented by Anais. Her explanation of the requirements to complete the certificate left myself and as I'm sure all others on course fully aware and excited to participate. We were also blessed to have a trainee master diver (Sarah) with us who also helped to guide us through the processes whenever stuck or uncertain. Thank you both for your enthusiasm and patience.

average we saw amazing animals on our tour and am grateful for the opportunity. the only downside my partner and I experienced, is we wished the crew created some sort of icebreaker between everyone. No one really engaged or spoke to one another the whole day, and I feel as though if the crew were to assist in this we would have formed some amazing connections!

Great Dive Company! An excellent tour company! I snorkelled ( with Sarah????????????????) she was a great buddy for a notice snorkeller like me! My daughter dived and we both had a great day!! With the fantastic staff!

Absolutely fantastic trip with these guys! The use of a spotter plane means they find the whale sharks quickly, rather than waiting for hours on end to come across one which is a huge plus and means more time in the water with these amazing creatures. The price also includes photos taken on the day for those who don't have a camera or don't get that perfect shot. My only regret is that I wasn't in Exmouth for more than a day so I could do multiple trips. It's not just Whale Sharks out there, either - we saw dolphins, a dugong, turtles, and even a tiger shark!

Couldn’t say more about the great crew and photographer! Emma lead our group and she was fabulous getting us out there. Saw the tail of a whale shark because someone kicked up there fins right in front of me so I only saw bubbles till the tail end of this magnificent fish. Emma made sure I got a good spot for the drop further forward!! Then our small group came upon a baby (still huge) going in another direction but further down in the water and she guided us that way and we had a fabulous view from above and were able to keep up!! The whole staff should be commended as they all went above and beyond in a super enthusiastic and friendly way. They aren’t the cheapest but they make sure you get what you came for and some!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

We booked the first whale shark tour of the year and it was one of the top highlights of our trip to Australia. The team is the best I have ever experienced. Each and every one of them gave their best for the well-being and success of all participants and created a happy and relaxed atmosphere! I would love to work with you guys right away ;-) The snorkeling equipment was also top-notch and the encounter with the wahle shark was magical.

What an incredible day in the water. The snorkelling was amazing, and swimming with the whale sharks was pure magic. Special shout out to the crew who were organised, efficient and obviously knew their stuff, but who were also very chill, friendly and funny, which created a really relaxing and enjoyable atmosphere for such a special experience.

Sunset whale watching at its best! The scene was amazing! Perfect weather and wow, wow, wow! We saw soooo many whales doing so many things. They are so inquisitive! Food and onboard service was fantastic.

Swimming with Whalesharks We had the most amazing day with Exmouth Dive Centre. The whole day was so well organised & ran like clockwork. Whale Shark Magnificence..! ???? What an incredible experience! A definite highlight on our around Oz adventure. The staff were so attentive and supportive with our 10yr old daughter and I watched her confidence soar with each jump in with the whale sharks. A bucket list experience for sure!! Thanks team

ONCE IN A LIFETIME All reports suggest you can’t see whale sharks in October at Exmouth. They are all wrong, this was a fantastic experience we swam with 2 whale sharks, I could not hav swam anymore. We also saw a dolphin while snorkeling along with turtles (doing the tango!) & hump back whales from the boat. Furthermore there less people out there because it was off season and the sea was the warmest you could hope for whalesharks = actually this was the best time of the year to do it!

I will add to above a traveller friend advised me (from speaking to a competitor operator who don’t go in Oct) that only 1 whale shark had been seen from all tours in October with 30 people trying to see them, how wrong he was and how glad I am, I listened to this tour group instead.

Also want to add the staff that worked on this boat were all excellent, they made the whole experience very enjoyable; the spotters helped to make it even more exciting, the photographer was arguably the number 1 ocean photographer in Exmouth & Michael had a great sense of humour, providing lots of advice on various other things we could do in Exmouth.

We are all very glad we did this tour, once in a lifetime and well worth it.

Amazing day! From start to finish, epic crew, yummy lunch (vegetarian friendly - salad/cheese wraps), amazing swims with the whalesharks and to top it off, when the whalesharks the spotter plane found kept diving down, instead of heading back to mangrove bay (arvo snorkelling spot) when our time was up, the amazing crew stayed behind in deeper waters and found another whaleshark and made sure we got more time in the water with these gentle giants. Amazing day, but for me the friendliness and positivity of the crew when it was super choppy and hot and we couldn’t find a whaleshark was the standout bit (along with the whalesharks ofc) hugely recommend. Thanks to Geoff, Robbie, legendary South African dude and the rest of the crew. Loved our day!

The best experience and company ever! My partner and I recently completed our Open Water PADI Dive Course with Exmouth Dive and truly cannot put into words how incredible our experience was.
Yardena (Jordan) was our instructor and her kind heart and fun attitude made the three days of the course both extremely enjoyable and put all nerves at ease.
In our ocean dives, we saw reef sharks, mantarays, turtles, whales and so much more! Her adventurous spirit allowed our group to safely adventure the ocean whilst learning valuable skills.
Tyler was a fantastic skipper and went out of his way to ensure all of the passengers saw a range of sea life and were comfortable.

We cannot recommend Exmouth Dive again! Will be back!

Excellent trip The staff were excellent in making sure everyone got what they wanted from the trip.
There was a big age range from children (7and 9) to late 60s as well as experience snorkeling. From very experienced to having snorkel only once before.
Some people choose to enjoy the trip and did not enter the water.

The snorkeling spots were great, so many different varieties of fish including sharks. Plus we saw turtles mating.

The best was the whale shark. We had 4 opportunities to see and swim with it.

Amazing animal. The staff were very helpful making sure you saw and could swim with it.

For this trip , you are driven to the site where the boat is anchored offshore and are transported by tender boat.

This is close to turquoise bay.

Can highly recommend.

Magnificent Jetty diving experience Exceptional experience and one of the best scuba diving experiences you will ever have The easiest way to describe the dive is what didn’t you go and see

Best day out on the water! I've wanted to swim with whale sharks for a long time and this tour finally made it possible! Our spotter plane found them just after lunch and we managed to swim with one whale shark three times. Big shout out to the team - Nick, Ricardo, Linn and Mike -who went absolutely above and beyond with our experience on board, in the water, and pointing out marine life from the boat. We went for two swims beforehand and saw an abundance of fish underwater, including a sting ray and reef shark. Such a good trip, I highly recommend this to anyone looking for marine life interaction.

Whaleshark & Muiron Islands snorkel I was in Exmouth for 3 weeks from mid-July 2023, so did lots of different tours. I had the BEST time with Exmouth Dive and Whalesharks Ningaloo on a Whaleshark snorkel and a trip to Muiron Islands too. From how my bookings were handled in the office to the onboard experience, the team is first class! The bar's been set very high by all Exmouth tour operators, so much so that other trips I've made since (in the Canary Islands, for example) don't come close in terms of the experience gained during the adventure. Oh well, even more reason to return to Ningaloo again, again and AGAIN! Thanks guys/gals - I hope you all enjoy a little downtime before the next season lands on top of you!

Whale shark swim We got to see whale sharks in October. Amazing. The crew where fantastic, good kit and a great boat. Well worth it.

Great Sunset Cruise This cruise was really great. We saw do many whales and was reasonably priced. Definitely should be on the list of things to do.

Best $ value excursion we have been on From pick up at our accommodation to drop off everything about the 2 hour cruise was great. Staff personable and knowledgeable, food and drink plentiful and quality selections, but the best part was the constant show put on by the whales. Credit has to go to the skipper for being able to position the vessel for our advantage, and obvious knowledge of where to look for them.

A must to do while in Exmouth Amazing experience! Wonderful team Riccardo, sara, jordan, and especially mention to Emma that went above and beyond to help me get close to them! Thank you

I did my open water dive course with Exmouth Dive and Whale Shark, and it was one of the best things I have ever done.

The Crew were amazing, some of the friendliest people you will ever meet, with some unreal stories. The boat was a real pleasure to be aboard, the dives sights are truely spectacular, and the food was great and super welcome after the dives.

I would and will highly recommend this course and any of the others to my friends, family and anyone else who asks!

The course, the dives and time out on the boat was the absolute highlight of my two week holiday in the Pilbara.

Whales of the Gulf and sunset Delightful way to spend the afternoon with great staff, delicious little snacks and whales a’plenty! Watching whales breaching, mothers with calves frolicking or tails whacking up a foam defies description. There is plenty of room to view these magnificent creatures that affect the emotions and bring us to nature in the now.

We’ve done this each time we visit Exmouth and can highly recommend the experience.

Once in a lifetime experience Cannot speak highly enough of this dedicated enthusiastic and friendly crew. We were lucky enough to have 2 swims with a whale shark after the 2 spotter planes found them (took a little while given it was the end of whale shark season but in the meantime we got to see many humpbacks, dolphins, turtles and even an Orca). The crew were very patient and encouraging of an older lady in our group who was not a confident swimmer - they always made sure 1 of the crew was with her and gave her extra flotation devices to hold onto. The swim with the whale shark was a once in a lifetime experience.
We met a couple the following day who had been out on a whale shark tour with another company the same day as us yet their plane had not been able to find a whale shark.

Absolutely incredible team and adventure Incredible experience with phenomenal crew! They really cared to show us a once in a lifetime experience, and they were so patient and accommodating with kid family of 7 - everyone from young to old had the best time. We got to do and see just about everything we dreamed of seeing and then some. Couldn’t recommend this activity and this particular company more. It’s the reason to go to Exmouth, and can’t imagine doing it with a better company.

Humpback Whale experience with Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks We had a fantastic day out snorkelling, watching Humpback Whales and we even got to swim with them - it was amazing! I'd definitely recommend Exmouth Dive & Whalesharks.

My husband and I were totally in awe of the experience we had on Sunday on the Whale Shark cruise on Jazz II.
From booking the cruise to being dropped off at the end of the day we felt so safe in the hands of this most professional and efficient tour company. The skipper, Nick, diligently handled the boat, Heather drove our pick up bus as well as handling the photography and the snorkelling groups, Conner and the other crew members were equally friendly and helpful throughout our cruise. It was such a fun day with this young and enthusiastic crew. A most successful day was had with many whale shark sightings as well as humpback whales, manta rays, turtles and dolphins.
Everything about our day was absolutely wonderful and I would highly recommend this group to anybody wishing to swim with the whale sharks in this amazing part of the world. Thank you everyone.

3 boys 1 padi Class time on the ocean dives with Timmy, saw heaps more than we expected to and left keen for more. Nice snacks too.

Amazing Experience! Boat was beautiful! Staff were great! Food was delicious & plentiful to top it off . there were heaps of whales!
