Love my whole Ocean Rafting Tour. Jesse, Kayla and Toby were amazing. They made the whole tour enjoyable by being kind, iteractive and entertaining! Our boat is the joyride and true to its name, it was fun and strong. It gave us speed despite the weather and not a moment was I worried of safety. They were still serving food to every one rain or shine. Toby really knew how to drive that boat, Jesse was so good at making you feel welcome by conversing and Kayla was always looking out. They also love the Great Barrier Reef and take pride and honour in conserving its beauty. I would recommend this trip. 😊

I had the BEST EXPERIENCE ever! My tour included A bush walk to a lookout with a stunning view Whitehaven Beach and a swim at the beach, we also loved the snorkeling at the 2 locations. I loved the bumpy ride and blasting music on the boat. Most importantly, I wanted to thank the amazing crew members, Abbie, Ella and Kev for making the experience so much fun. I definitely recommend this tour it was one of my favourite activities on my trip!

Amazing experience w/ amazing creu It was an amazing experience, from the 1hour flight above the ocean and the coral reef to the snorkeling to actually see the corals and fishes, and the beautiful beaches of White Heaven Beach! Tyler and his creu were amazing and we really enjoyed our time!!

So Dave and Mateo were our hosts, great team and hosts, Crazy waves gave Dave every opportunity to make the ride really exciting, No one was dry by the time we got to Hill Inlet.
Hill inlet never disappoints the views are just amazing, then a great lunch was served up on Champagne beach before heading home and more fun at high speed across the waves to music blasting out, and Mateo serving us fruit and lamingtons, yummo, before finishing with 360 turns outside the harbour.

Peak into Paradise The Northern Exposure tour was amazing! Snorkeling in Manta Ray bay was a great experience with many many tropical fish swimming just a few cm before our eyes and the Whitsundays view simply breathtaking. The staff was very friendly and the ride with the boat just fantastic (all the compliments to the skipper). We all enjoyed the day a lot and we all agree this was the best experience of our holiday. Highly recommended!

They were both so informative and entertained the guests the whole trip. Lunch was delicious and the visit to Whitehaven Beach was magnificent. The raft ride was epic too. We took a trip to the Whitsundays in August this year, choosing the option with more snorkeling time. The staff was really friendly and kind, and it was a truly fun experience that we definitely recommend for visiting this natural wonder. Additionally, it was truly fantastic and exciting because we unexpectedly had a close encounter with whales, which was wonderful! However, I don’t give 5 out of 5 stars because, personally, we had very little time to enjoy the beach, which was one of the highlights of the excursion. Additionally, there were too many people on the boat, and it felt quite cramped! Despite this, we appreciated the various explanations from the guides, and snorkeling was enjoyable. We also liked the lunch—simple but good!

Had the most wonderful time on Joyride! They were very accomodating for our booking of 5 people, and everything was organised very well.

The ride was thrilling but all things enjoyable, and even got to see whales!
The small hike to the lookout points through Tongue point, and looking over the hill inlet are a must for any visit.
Not only amazing views there, but just as beautiful views snorkelling with the fish and coral.

I recently had an amazing experience with Ocean Rafting and I want to highlight how impressive everything was. The service provided by the team was exceptional, with special thanks to Kate, Bronte, and Kevin for their professionalism and friendliness.

The panoramic view of the coral reef was absolutely stunning; a true feast for the senses. The rafting was thrilling and fun, and swimming with the fish was an unforgettable experience, allowing us to get up close and personal with the underwater world.

There was just one minor point to mention: the size of the lunch was a bit small. However, this did not diminish the overall fantastic experience. Congratulations to the whole team for a memorable day. Highly recommended!

Had an awesome day out with Ocean Rafting! We did the southern lights tour with Taylor, Rich and Simon. They were all excellent guides with so much energy and took great care of our three young kids too. The lunch was great and all gear was clean and ready for us to use. Our kids LOVED the speed boat ride and snorkelling. The following day we did the flight out over the reef. IT WAS INCREDIBLE! We had our own small plane and pilot who did a fabulous job telling us all about the islands and reef. So glad we chose these activities as they totally made our holiday. Thank you Ocean Rafting!!

I’ve had the best time with Ocean rafting, fly and boat trips are both wonderful. Our Southern Light tour guide Daisy is amazing! She is so friendly and full of energy, very caring and responsible. My mom who speaks very little English can also feel her energy, and said it’s the best boat experience she ever had! We have also saw whales, turtles and manta rays on our trip, the captain is also very helpful with spotting the animals.

We did the southern exposure tour and it was fantastic! From beginning to end, Scotty and Jessie took great care of us and had amazing energy throughout the trip. Awesome tour guides and had a great sense of humour. The snorkeling was great, clearly visible coral and sea wildlife and the views were still spectacular despite the weather being against us. The boat was a lot of fun and the music kept the energy up and fun. Would highly recommend this tour and company.

You HAVE to do this if you’re in Airlie Beach. We did the northern tour which was a bit more snorkelling (2 stops & saw loads of fish) and we were lucky enough to stop off at Champagne Beach (which only happens 50 times a year). The weather was perfect so the views were INSANE. The boat is so much fun, honestly made the whole experience (& they play good music too). Cash & Maisie are insanely good at their jobs. Definitely worth the money.

Wow, what an experience! I highly recommend the Souther Lights tour with Maisie and Oak. They had immaculate vibes and very high energy throughout the trip. Absolutely outstanding boat trip and loved every single minute of it. Whitehaven beach is so beautiful, still obsessing over the view from my pictures. The snorkel spot picked had stunning blue water with the ability to see coral and lots of fish.

I was lucky enough to do the scenic plane ride the next day. I could have cried at the view, it was that gorgeous! The heart reef looks just as good in person as it does in pictures. The pilot was super friendly and took great pictures of me with plane before the flight *which was handy as a solo traveler*

I loved my time at ocean rafting, all the staff were incredible! Definitely the highlight of my trip as a solo travel in Australia. This company is a MUST when visiting Airlie!

We brought our parents to Whitsundays and used Ocean Rafting for the Scenic Flight & Northern Exposure Tour. Booking was super easy!
The day itself was amazing! From start to finish Hayley made everyone comfortable and super involved. She was super fun and also very caring for those that were scared of the water.
Scotty was also great and made the ride itself super fun but felt incredibly safe all the way through!

10/10 Ocean Rafting was an amazing experience with great crew that made everyone laugh. It was a special moment.

The only downside was the food provided but everything else was beyond spectacular

Wrasse Heaven Went to the Whitsundays and experienced the Snorkel tour with Ocean Rafting on the Jammin boat with Ben and Kate!! Absolutely epic time with the family, have lived in this region for 30 years and am still seeing things I cannot believe. Witnessed what I believe was a spawning aggregation, group, of atleast (hand counted whilst diving) 27 Humhead Wrasse (Māori Wrasse, Cheilinus undulatus). The most I have ever seen together was probably 2 but following this group of 27, eating coral and floating about for around 15minutes was one of the coolest things iv ever done. Also seeing sweetlip, coral trout, painted Cray, giant clam, black tip reef shark, etc. The list goes on, 10/10, even with coral spawn localised, would have been maybe 3-5m vis. Some spots maybe more.

Beautiful Birds Eye views Wonderful experience, well worth going on. We had a clear day and the colours of the reef, the sea and sky were stunning. Whitehaven beach looks amazing from the sky.

This was our second time with ocean rafting and it did not disappoint. We did the Southern lights tour, it was amazing. You will not be disappointed. Our guides Tom and Callum were awesome. Our girls (9, 12) loved the thrill of the boat ride. I can’t pick a favourite part of the day because it was all my favourite - from racing the other boats, seeing the beautiful islands and snorkelling the reef. Ticked every box. The girls want to go again tomorrow!!

The best day!! The scenic flight was so well organised with pick up and drop off included. All so straight forward and explained prior to the day. The views were better than we ever thought. I’d 100% recommend the package of flight boat ocean rafting as it’s the best of both.
We had the most amazing day with the ocean rafting crew. They were so inclusive and attentive to everyone on board the boat always interacting and making sure everyone was having a good time. The raft had such a good variety of activities from the snorkelling in the reef to the walk up to the look out of hill inlet. We had Scotty, Heath and Celeste who were all amazing, we can’t thank them enough for making our day even better! Would definitely recommend ocean rafting to anyone looking to explore whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef.

Always a fun time with Ocean Rafting! This is the third time we did a tour with the team and it was once again super fun. Kurt and Daisy were incredible, they brought the energy and jokes on the day and made sure we all had the best time despite the tricky weather. They really do it all - from driving the boat (very important) to photography and reef education, what more could one want? We highly enjoyed being on their boat and it's safe to say they deserve a raise!

Hands down one of the best experiences available! We had a fantastic crew with fantastic energy, big thank you to Kurt and Emily on Thrilla for keeping up the good vibes and for really making this day unforgettable.

We choose the Northern experience for the snorkelling focus and were very lucky to be blessed with amazing weather, and wildlife. We saw a variety of fish as well as TURTLES!

The Hill Inlet walk was amazing! I was anticipating much more of a hike to get to the spot you see so many amazing photos of but it was so quick and easy, perfect for any ability.

The boat trip to each spot was an experience in itself, it was fast paced and the views were amazing! Very skilled skipper with some little tricks along the way.

Overall, we had the absolute best time and will remember this trip for a long time. Can’t wait for the next adventure.

This tour is so much fun and a great adventure for the whole family! We went on Joy Ride with the wonderful Jess and Dave, we saw turtles and lots of beautiful fish, the water was amazing! We had the most amazing day with Ocean Rafting! We booked the boat and scenic flight package and it was the best decision. The boat tour in the Whitsundays was awesome and the funny crew (Rich and Kal) made it even better. Flying above the great barrier reef was also an unforgettable experience. A MUST DO in Airlie Beach! Second time we’ve been out with Ocean Rafting and it won’t be the last. Today we chose the Northern Exposure tour and we had an upbeat, fun, and thrilling ride with skipper Daniel and deckie Bernie. Visibility for snorkelling wasn’t at its best however, any chance you get to visit the iconic Hill Inlet, and Whitehaven Beach is one you grab with both hands it is paradise.

Best ever Daisy and Scotty our crew for the day were the best, so much energy and so fun. It was my sons 6th bday and they made him feel so special throughout the day and everyone in the boat sung HBD. We enjoyed the entire day, this was out 2nd trip Ocean Rafting and will definitely be back .

Such a fun day filled with great spots for snorkelling and relaxing on a beach.

The water was crystal clear all day. Kurt and Emily were the best Captain and Deckhand! Kurt was hilarious, non stop funnies and so chilled! So many belly laughs. How could you not have a good time. Emily was like the Wikipedia of the reef, super friendly and helpful! They both went above and beyond the whole day! A huge thank you to you both! The lunch was yummy as!

Highly recommended. The timing of the activities was well paced, locations for snorkeling were beautiful and a very organized operation. Plenty of time to enjoy the beach stop and lunch. The tour guides Callum and Emily were amazing - we were travelling with two kids under ten and our hosts were very attentive and made sure the kids were comfortable and having a good time. Lunch was fab - and they had a tasty gluten free option for my son. Really great value for money experience - we would do this tour again in future. Thanks Callum and Emily!

My husband and our two teenage boys were out with Kurt and Richard on board Thriller today! Weather was the greatest with 35 knots hitting us, however boys guys made sure we were safe and most importantly had fun! A bit of a change of plans in the itinerary, but nonetheless we had a ball! My husband and I had a great time on our trip today! We had a beautiful boat ride and saw some whales in the distance. Our first stop was hill inlet/ white haven beach (so beautiful) and then snorkeled at two different locations. We saw a turtle, lots of vibrant coral, and loads of beautiful fish. Kate and Benny were excellent guides— some give these two a raise… Or at least a beer. Thanks for the great experience!

Absolutely fantastic day out. Went out on a raft skippered by Taylor who proved to be very competent and capable, a very nice gentleman who provide plenty of good humour and a safe trip. Daisy and Emily the deck crew each competent, friendly, helpful and lively provided a safe and enjoyable experience. If you are in Airlie Beach for even a little while ocean Rafting ought to be on the top of your list for things to do.

Absolutely 5 star experience!! My parents and I had an amazing day and we all loved it!! Driver Tom was friendly, high energy, and gave clear instructions. We went rafting with Heath and Jesse (hope I spell their names correctly and sorry I forgot the captain’s name). The whole crew was nice, friendly and thoughtful. Really appreciate Heath assisted my mum and I snorkelling, both of us can’t swim but we were still able to enjoy snorkelling and the amazing view underwater with Heath’s help!! And both of my parents can’t speak or understand English that much but they still feel how friendly and enthusiastic Jesse and Heath is:> Also the captain gave my parents instructions that was written in Chinese so they can read and follow. Again, we really loved today’s trip!!! The view was breathtaking and worth to take everything to protect it. Thank you for all the staff from Ocean Rafting!!! Will definitely visit again ₊⁺♡₊⁺

Went out on Thunderstruck with James and Tommy August 23rd. It was a great experience!. They were knowledgeable and fun. The snorkle spot was awesome! There was a small mix up with our reservation so we didn't have a lunch like we were supposed to but they had extras and it want an issue at all!. Small problem with the boat made us have beach time in a different spot but it was just as beautiful if not more fun! They made sure we did not miss our connection back to our resort. Everything handled professionally and efficiently! Thanks for the great experience!

My husband I went ocean rafting (18 August) with Kurt and Dex and I must say they definitely made it a day you cannot forget, by far one of our favourite experiences yet. They both definitely know how to make a bad day turn into a good day. The snorkelling spots were both beautiful and spectacular to see, they both knew the perfect spots to swim and know the best spots to swim over the coral. We saw all 4 - whales, dolphins, turtles and mantra rays. Kurt and Dex you were both very attentive, fun, had a good laugh and know how to drive a boat, both keep doing those donuts because they were definitely a lot of fun. Would definitely recommend to anyone we see or talk about Whitsundays as it’s a must visit and I’m sure we will be back to return.

My husband and I went on the Fly Raft-Southern Lights experience. It was my favorite day of our adventure packed 3 weeks vacation. I knew it would be great, but was even better than expected. I was nervous that the flight would be turbulent or packed, but we all had great views and were comfortable. The snorkeling was a great intro for bigger reefs we saw in port douglas, but still beautiful! Definitely would do again and recommend to anyone!

I had an amazing experience!! Because of low tide, I couldn’t spent much time in Hill Inlet Lookout and the guide took us really hustle. However the view was incredibly beautiful!!! I also combined with the scenic flight tour in the morning so I could see from sky as well. Probably next time I go, I’ll check the tide first. I CANT swim but did snorkeling ans saw some fish. I also saw whales ????????

What a fantastic experience we had on the Southern Lights trip. The weather wasn’t the best, but that didn’t stop us having fun with James @ the helm & Decks providing extra commentary. These lads have the best way with communication skills for every age. This A Team crew made our day.
We saw a manta ray at the back of the craft , humpback whales in the background plus a bonus cow and calf surface not far from us. James switched the engines off and gave us great information without overload.
We thoroughly recommend this trip, well done Ocean Rafting, just the right balance of time afloat, snorkelling time, swimming and the bush walk to give the classic view of Whitehaven Beach. Wonderful memories for us, thank you.

Cal was an amazing skipper. We had 20 knot winds, so it was a very bumpy ride but Cal handled it all like a pro. I felt safe with him, even though I don't usually feel at ease on a boat. Rich kept checking in with us all and even gave me his jacket when I got too cold (even though I was in my windbreaker!) They were a great team together.
We did the northern tour and the first snorkel sight was great, it was a shame no fins for the second sight. Bring warm clothes for the ride even if is warm in Airlie. Only boat that actually parks at Whitehaven beach - stunning!

Absolutely amazing experience, I had a particularly good time on the back and forth in the boat. There was music and lots of boats ????.
The snorkeling was fantastic and super nice, as were the soft sandy beaches and the viewpoints where they explained super interesting theories to us. We learned a lot from them.
A special thanks to the monitors of the excursion, they have been great both Max and Daniel in all aspects, they have been very attentive and have been pending since it was our first time snorkeling and with other people who did not feel comfortable in the water.
It is a highly recommended excursion and totally repeatable.

We got to Whitehaven beach before any of the other tours, so we had the whole place to ourselves.

We had an amazing tour with Tom and Callum on the Riptide yesterday with our large 15-person family booking including kids (12, 9, 6, 6, 3) who loved it. It’s the highlight of our trip to Airlie and I’d recommend it to anyone who comes here.

One of the best trips I’ve ever done in my life! My two leaders Kurt and Bennie were the best and I could not have asked for better people. The trip I took with the two of them was outstanding and I am so sad that I live 10000 miles away.
Both of them created an exhilarating atmosphere on and off the boat. The rafting to and from the snorkel site was packed with great, upbeat music from Kurt while lots of twists and turns provide for a wild ride I won’t soon forget. The white beaches consisted of Bennie playing football (soccer) with us and gorgeous views of the islands.
Would travel to Australia and back just for this adventure.
