Stand up paddle boarding is a great way to experience Victoria’s stunning Mornington Peninsula! It is easy to learn and no doubt you will be a confident stand up paddle boarder in no time.


Hire Details:

This experience includes two hours of stand up paddle board hire, expert advice from staff members and top of the range equipment to get you started. It’s that easy! No guide is needed!

1x SUP board & paddle – Wetsuits are available for additional fee.

What to Bring/Wear:

Please wear beach attire and bring a change of clothes. 

We recommend a water bottle, towel, sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, booties or thongs.
In colder months – wetsuits are recommended. (Water proof phone cases are available for purchase)

Participant Conditions:

This is a self guided experience, there is NO guide with you, so it is recommended that participants have at least basic swimming experience.

When to arrive
During Peak Times, travel time to the Peninsula can be up to 2 hours due to high traffic congestion.
Please allow time to park your vehicle and freshen up so that we may commence your tour on time.
If you arrive late your tour may be reduced or forfeited.

What to bring
Water-based activities: bathers, towel, hat, sunscreen.
Land-based activities: towel, hat, sunscreen and closed heel shoes.
Please dress for comfort and for the weather.

Weather
In some instances, weather may change unexpectedly and a tour may need to be rescheduled at the
last minute. If you have concerns regarding the weather, please call to discuss. See our terms and conditions for more information. PS. The sun shines more in Portsea than Melbourne!

Parking
The Portsea public car park is 2 hour parking from December 24th until April 30th.
All day parking is available in the car park behind the Bayplay shop or on Franklin Rd.
