From May to October, watch in awe as Humpback, Southern Right, and occasionally rare Blue Whales frolic, mate, and calve in Albany’s sheltered waters. Friendly dolphins and seals can also be spotted playing year-round! 🐬

A Journey Through History and Natural Wonders

Steeped in rich history, these waters tell incredible stories. Imagine the first explorers arriving in the harbour as early as 1627, or the first ANZAC troops departing for WWI in 1914. Gaze at the historic Whaling Station in Frenchman Bay and get up close to the shipwreck of the Cheynes II, a 440-ton steam whale chaser that is a photographer’s dream. 📸

Our vessel, the “Young Salty Dog”, is a safe and stable twin-hull catamaran (an ex-Sea Rescue vessel) hosting up to 12 passengers. We will navigate through the Ataturk Channel, past Point King Lighthouse, Point Possession, and view the National ANZAC Centre on Mount Clarence from the sea. You will also marvel at the turquoise waters of Mistaken Island and cruise past the pristine white sands of Brambles, Whalers Cove, Goode Beach, and Middleton Beach.
