Booking Terms & Conditions – More than 30 days: full refund, less the cost of any credit card merchant fees. – 30 – 14 days: subject to 50% loss of fare . – Less than 14 days: subject to 100% loss of fare. – If minimum numbers aren’t met to run the walk full refund or change of date available. – In the event of unscheduled Island closure (such as, but not limited to, cyclone, fire or flood) all monies will be refunded. Reconfirmation: The day prior to departure. If Queensland National Parks close the tracks for circumstances beyond our control, usually due to fire danger, the hike will still run on an alternative safe route, with possibilities to see the majority of the sites in the original itinerary. LIABILITY DISCLOSURE CONDITIONS – Hikers are required to complete and sign a participant and agreement declaration form. – Hikers need to have an average fitness level. – All health/medical conditions, including allergies, must be disclosed on the participant’s declaration form to Fraser Island Hiking staff prior to departure. – Participants must not participate in any hiking adventures if they are injured, have a disability, medical or health condition that may increase their risk by undertaking hiking activities.
