Distance/Accessibility: The tour covers approx. 2km at a leisurely pace. The route includes some stairs but can be adapted for people using wheelchairs and prams etc. Please tell us about your requirements in the booking form’s accessibility section.

Additional Information
Meet at the Digital Tower in Yagan Square. It is located on the corner of Wellington and William Street. It looks like a large LED screen with poles extending from the top. Your friendly guide will be wearing a bright blue t-shirt. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early so that the tour can start promptly.
The tour will run for approx. 3 hours finishing at Barrack Square.

Ellen was enthusiastic and clearly loves her city! We learnt loads you will never know if you just walk about looking and got some great tips for eating and drinking, again off the beaten track away from the main tourist places. Definitely worth a few hours of your time as soon as you can after arrival.

Our Bookclub took a private Street Art Tour. We had no idea there was so much incredible art tucked away in little laneways we’d never come across before! Amber was good fun, informative and knowledgeable about Perth’s history.  She also pointed out hidden details in familiar buildings/ public art that we’d never noticed before. We all agreed it was one of the best activities we’d done as a group. Highly recommend.

All the more remarkable as Ellen has only recently taken on this role. If you want to learn about the history of Perth and get some tips on places to go then I would highly recommend taking this tour. A very enjoyable way get a handle on the city at a pace that will meet all age group’s requirements.

Best to do it on Day One of your visit here as the tips and tricks regarding hidden places to eat, see and experience could only be found if speaking to an experienced local! Ellen has incredible local knowledge and her ability to engage the whole group in the history and architecture of this beautiful city is outstanding. 					Today we were delighted to do a lovely walking tour with the enthusiastic Ellen. Only 19 and this only her 3rd tour her knowledge was detailed and varied on a wide range of what makes Perth ‘Perth’.



As a dedicated local she was able to give us an insight into how Perth has changed over the years, including stories passed down 2 generations.



She gave us great idea for other places to visit, and included some extra time at the old courthouse at our request. Thank you Ellen for a wonderful morning!

					Adie was an absolute gem! So enthusiastic about her home town, which was reflected through the entire tour! We were shown some amazing spots, which without the local knowledge we would not have either seen nor considered looking at. Really enjoyed the tour, the pace, the coffee and the group. Well worth your time.

					We signed up for a Discover Perth walking tour. Oh Hey WA tour guide Alex was outstanding this morning. Alex met us at Yagan Square and from there she opened up our eyes to the most fascinating things about Perth city. Her fun facts and knowledge demonstrated a passion for Perth history and art. Her story about the architect of the Post Office heritage building was hilarious. Thank You so much Alex - you reignited our connection to this city

					We did the Discover Perth Walking Tour with Alex. She was AMAZING!!!  Perfectly paced with just the right amount of everything. Alex covered everything from history, street art, indigenous culture, fun facts/stories and her love for Perth. Alex was great about answering any and all questions. She also offered great hints and suggestions for activities and eateries. This is a perfect tour for anyone!!  It is just the right length, so you don't get tour fatigue and the distance covered is not excessive. So the tour is accessible for most.  We highly recommend this tour company and guide.

					We had the absolute best experience with Adie from Oh Hey WA. We have recently moved offices into the city and Adie carefully crafted a bespoke tour to help us settle into our new neighborhood. 					Thanks so much Adie, it was a wonderful experience to do a walking tour with someone who is as passionate about Perth as you are. Thank you for all the highlights that you pointed out to us all the historic buildings the cafés, recommendations for restaurants. Some of the interesting questions you asked the group when we stopped to look at the Commonwealth Coat of Arms on the tour, about the kangaroo and the emu that can’t move backward, symbolizing progress and a ‘nation moving forward’, also the interesting question as to why the emu and kangaroo’s head is turned the other way!

					We booked a walking art and bar tour with Adie for my sister’s birthday and it was such a memorable experience! From the moment we met her, Adie’s warmth and sunny energy set the tone for the evening. She’s incredibly knowledgeable about Perth’s art, culture and hidden gems, but what really makes the tour special is her personality – she’s friendly, cheeky in the best way, and so much fun to be around. Adie has that perfect mix of being bubbly and entertaining while also making everyone feel comfortable and included. My sister and our whole group had the best time – I’d highly recommend Adie if you’re looking for a tour that’s equal parts fascinating, social and a little bit naughty!

It was fantastic! Adie was our guide for the afternoon. Adie has incredible knowledge of the artwork, artists and area. Went down alleyways full of art I would never normally go down. Along the way, we popped into some bars; again, there are some hidden gems you may not know are there. It was an amazing afternoon and highly recommend to locals and tourists alike.

					I did the Perth city tour with Oh Hey WA, with Lucy as the tour guide and it was such a great morning out for my first day in the city! Lucy was great and shared a bunch of information about everything we saw, made sure to include everyone and offered helpful info for everyone for where they wanted to go once the tour finished. 					We did the small bar and art tour last Saturday afternoon. We were fortunate enough to get a private tour for 12 people with the lovely,friendly guide, Alex.

Alex handled our initial enquiry and then did our tour with her wonderful energy and knowledge we were all blown away. Everyone on the tour really enjoyed it and most of us live in Perth. Highly recommend Alex for her professionalism and Oh Hey WA to everyone.

					Thoroughly enjoyed this three hour walking tour on Sunday 17th August with Adie. So many interesting stories about the local architecture, gardens, sculptures and art. 					What an amazing introduction to Perth City! I recently arrived from Egypt and knew nothing about the area, but thanks to Addie I now feel so much more connected to this beautiful city. The 3-hour tour was not only informative but also incredibly engaging!



Addie has impressive knowledge of Perth’s history, culture, and hidden gems, which made the entire experience truly memorable. Her passion for the city and her work shines through, and I couldn’t have asked for a better way to start my journey in Australia.

					What an awesome street art tour

of Perth City with Adie, founder of Oh Hey WA. I’ve walked around town quite a few times and seen a lot of this street art before, and also been on a few Oh Hey WA tours, but I am always so impressed with the knowledge and interesting facts the Oh Hey WA guides have about the art work!

The tour today was a free tour for teachers showcasing what Oh Hey WA has on offer for class excursions. Highly recommend the tour! . Adie and her team have so much passion for their jobs and this would make a great excursion (for my teacher friends) and great day out for anyone as they have a variety of tours for all.

The guide was very friendly and informative. The pace of the tour was just right, not too difficult and not too slow either. Perth is a terrific city which is a bit off the beaten path and, therefore, not well known to American travelers.  We would go back in a heartbeat.

Doing this tour on our first day ensured that we could easily navigate around Perth. The streets, malls and laneways each had their own unique story and Alex delivered them exceptional well. She kept us engaged and made us looking forward to the next stop along the way. We are not fitness fanatics but I found this an easy stroll really suited for all ages and fitness levels. 					Robyn showed us around the street art and bars and was very knowledgeable and super at what she does! We had a great time and met some lovely travellers on our tour. The group size of 14 was great and we’d happily recommend Robyn and her team for any Perth tours. Great day!
