With a pickup at 9:00am from city location, we will head up to the small town of Hahndorf known for its original German-style architecture and artisanal food.
9:45 am If you need a ‘coffee fix’ before your day begins, we can start off at Beerenberg where you can grab a coffee & indulge in their homemade scones and other treats – a sweet tooth lover’s dream!
Handorf, is the perfect place to have a look around, enjoy the amazing market stalls and see what the locals have to offer. Here you will find the likes of olde lolly shops, leather smiths, antiques, handmade Australia sheep skin products, boutique fashion shopping, candle shops etc and if you’re looking for authentic beer steins. The German village shop is a must see where you will be greeted by the staff in traditional attire where the lederhosen are sure to please.
1:00 pm Keeping with the German theme, Hahndorf Inn is where you can feast on kranski, sauerkraut and pretzels among other food options, so we will stop here for lunch.
Adelaide Hills is celebrated for its crisp and vibrant Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, and Pinot Noir. The region marked by ancient soils and cool breezes, imparts a unique character to the wines, resulting in a delightful balance of acidity and flavor complexity. If you like we can choose a cellar door close by to do some wine tastings of this region.
But don’t let that deter you if you are a red wine lover. There is an abundance of cellar doors to choose from, where we can take you just let us know which ones you’d like to visit.
If time allows, we can take you to Mount Lofty look out which provides spectacular panoramic views across Adelaide’s city skyline to the coast.
We will then drop you back at your pickup location by 5:00pm
