A brilliant day . The meal was exceptional and the atmosphere was really great. The hosts were fun . A great way to spend Christmas day.

Today we had one of our best ever Christmas days thanks to Port Adventure Cruises. The whole crew were more than welcoming, the beautiful food (there was so much of a selection, fresh and delicious - enough left over to do it all again).

My son Josh and I went for a ride & we will be back in the early new year for another.
The weather got rough and we had to do a lap around again. It was a bonus because we got twice the amount of time and food, drinks, ice cream, chocolates, lollies etc etc.
There’s 2 young ladies who were bloody legendary in making sure everyone was happy.
The captain looks like a weathered old sailor who is a man of few words but is full of knowledge.

Loved every minute onboard the Rhythmboat! The whole team were so warm, welcoming, and incredibly accommodating. Elsa and Laz are absolute gems — local legends who make the day feel special from start to finish.

The staff were friendly and full of fantastic local knowledge, and the food and drinks were honestly delicious. It’s the perfect experience in any weather, and seeing all the dolphins up close was pure magic.

Can’t wait to come back and do it all again with this brilliant crew!

Had a great sunset cruise. Staff were great and even helped us by making 2 gluten free meals for us. Wraps were very tasty. Desert hit the spot too. Highly recommend on a visit to Port.

Our “Framily” group of 12 friends did the 3 hour lunch time cruise on Wednesday this week - which included trivia, bingo and games. The city of Port is just gorgeous - quite eye-opening actually cruising through all the beautiful canals. The cruise far exceeded all our expectations. All the staff were so welcoming and so much fun. We had a yummy morning tea and a gorgeous hot roast dinner and sweets as well. We sang with the entertainment duo (who were fabulous) and danced on the floor. The staff seemed to bend over backwards to make sure we had a great time - which we did. Thanks so much guys and next time we are in Port, we will certainly do this cruise again. Highly recommended and such a great price!

What a sensational evening, not only where the crew such delightful people, the food, entertainment and atmosphere outstanding. I would have no hesitation to highly recommending this adventure to young and elderly people. I personally will be going on many more to come. 🎉

Our first time on a Port Adventure Cruise. The Xmas day lunch cruise was better than we expected. Plenty of food and variety staff very friendly. The day was even better because we had no dishes to wash. We would definitely recommend doing a cruise along Port Macquarie’s beautiful river with Port Adventure Cruises.

We booked the 2h dolphin cruise and it was totally worth it. We reached around 10.30 on a Monday (Christmas time) and were able to get 4P parking comfortably in the nearby parkplatz. The cruise set off with a slight delay (10 Mins) but there was more than enough time to see dolphins !. We had about 50 people on what was a pretty big boat. You can walk around from the lower deck to the upper deck. Weather was sunny and windy. I had called up earlier in the day to check if the cruise was still on due to a forecast for thunderstorm and the admin confirmed that it was on. The 2h duration of the cruise is perfect. Starts off from the pier and heads towards the breakwater before turning around and heading up the Hastings river where it explores the various canals. For the first forty mins we could not spot dolphins but got lucky after going around in the canals. Spotted multiple pairs some of which came quite close to the bow of the boat - would be pretty exciting for someone who s not seen dolphins up close. Food was as advertised with morning tea or coffee and muffins to start off followed by light lunch in the form of wraps and dessert - more than enough to keep the tummies full for the 2 hours. The crew were AWESOME (shoutout to you guys). Overall excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend!

What a great evening
Although the sunset wasn't playing the game, this sunset cruise is still a value for money must do! Plenty of nibbles from the time you step aboard until you disembark. Good friendly commentary and great hosts. Highly recommended.

Pleasant couple of hours It’s a big boat with plenty of room and smooth sailing all the way.

The cruise took us up the Hastings River to some housing waterways. It was quite interesting all the way with some nature (unfortunately no dolphins) and beautiful houses to look at.

They provided a good morning tea then a light lunch (wraps followed by ice cream etc for dessert) and there was a bar where you could purchase drinks etc.

The cruise director (Tom Cruise that might give you some idea of the calibre of the jokes) was entertaining and the music was pretty good.

A bit more information about the history of the area would have been appreciated but all up it was an interesting and enjoyable couple of hours. Not bad value at all.

Fun for all 3 years to 79 years Excellent family outing with 13 members from 3 years to 79 years. Amusing commentary, saw dolphins, pleasant food included, interesting river cruise and 'Village people ' dance for the gamest on the return trip.

A very enjoyable morning cruise. Hot drinks and cakes were available soon after boarding. We then enjoyed the views along the river and canals with an informative and witty narrative from the captain. Lunch was a delicious variety of fresh wraps and dessert. The bar was open for a relaxing drink. I would recommend this cruise as excellent value for money.

This cruise did not live up to expectations. A Seniors 3 hour luncheon cruise on a Wednesday. Morning tea ready as we boarded, lovely, and later plentiful hot/ cold luncheon smorgasbord, very enjoyable. Unfortunately, we expected our host to give some commentary on the area, the river, the history etc. The only piece of information was about the last canal built. Instead we had trivia games, and bingo, and some very average jokes. We felt like we were in an Aged Care group of seniors, taken out for the day, rather than travellers from all over Australia. Disappointed.
We had hoped to see Dolphins, but unfortunately that did not happen, but we accepted that as nature.

Adventure Port Macquarie river cruise Went on the day cruise with my husband. When we boarded we we're met by lovely staff,we we're offered a light refreshment if we wanted,a light lunch was supplied lovely fresh wraps and to finish off with ice cream, mixed lollies and fresh fruit.Dave was such a funny guy.Without a doubt would definitely go again next time visiting Port Macquarie

Don't miss out on this cruise when you are in Port Macquarie. It would have to be the best value for money that you can find. Our family did the sunset cruise and we weren't disappointed. The staff on board ensure you are looked after. The food provided was fresh and tasty and plentiful and included mini muffins and jam scrolls, freshly made wraps and ice cream, lollies and an assortment of fresh fruit. The bar has a good selection of alcohol and well priced. Thankyou to all the crew for an enjoyable day. ❤️

Dolphin Watching My daughter and i went on the Dolphin watching cruise and it was a great day . Dave was very funny and entertaining and we saw lots if Dolphins. great value and i highly recommend

Awesome trip! Great scenery! We even saw a dolphin. But I have to say what stands out is the fantastic crew! Everyone was so friendly, happy to have a chat and help with any questions. They provided good coffee and cakes for morning tea and wraps and fruit and ice cream for lunch. We even got lollies!!!!

We did a sunset cruise today, we all (6) had a fantastic time, with bucket of prawns, wraps and fruit, lollies and ice cream. Thank to all the staff for being so helpful and friendly.

Lovely end to the day We went on the sunset cruise. The cruise was very pleasant, with nice views of the riverbank. No dolphins, but the sunset was nice and breeze cool. We had seen dolphins whilst walking along the breakwater earlier in the day. There were wraps, cakes, fruit and ice cream included in the price. We also ordered the large platter as it was a special occasion. The platter was nice, but probably not $50 worth. However, combined with the food included it was enough for our dinner.
It was a nice end to our holiday.

OMG what a fab night.

A 4 hr cruise with an AMAZING sunset, dolphins and a great meal. The music trivia was brilliant and then the music was super fun and super dancy.

Took the Sunday afternoon 2:30 p.m. cruise. Great live music Pleasant to watch the scenery pass by with, but then in the second half of the cruise they lived and it up and many guests got up and danced it was a great time.
Very impressed with the light snack which will muffins, wraps followed with ice cream and lollies for dessert, what a treat . Definitely recommend

Great experience! Did the 2 hour dolphin cruise down the Hastings. Guide was extremely knowledgeable of the local area and very entertaining. Food was very good.
We even saw Dolphins on the way back. Plenty of viewing areas and space to move around. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a couple of hours to fill.

Good with the bad A very pleasant midday cruise including morning tea and freshly made wraps for lunch.
The crew were friendly, welcoming and well organised.
A more orderly way of inviting guests to come to the smorgasboard would be helpful instead of them pushing in and trying to help themselves while the crew were trying to serve people individually and hygienically.
However, it was so disappointing to see disposable plates and serviettes being blown into the river from the outside areas of the boat. Maybe eating should only be allowed from inside the boat to prevent rubbish littering the river. Something for the operators to consider?

Fantastic cruise! Wonderful trip, terrific crew and scenery was fabulous. Saw dolphins frolicking. Took the sunset cruise, prawn bucket was fabulous, had 12-15 prawns. Sunset was stunning, highlight of our long weekend in Port Macquarie! Will definitely take this cruise again. Also, afternoon tea provided was lovely (especially ice cream and maltesers)! Highly recommended. ????‍????

We did the fish n chips river cruise and had the best time with family, we took our own bubbly and beers and food was delicious. The highlight was seeing the five dolphins playing.

Unfortunately I was a couple of weeks early for Whale Watching season but the river cruise was still a good time and great value for money.

Relaxing boat trip with friendly service Really nice 2hours out on the Hastings River. Very friendly welcome on arrival and helpful throughout the cruise. Very interesting commentary and upstairs they have a few very comfortable armchairs to relax in whilst watching the scenery. Lovely morning tea, warm fresh scones with tea/coffee. No dolphins this time but that didn’t make any difference, can’t guarantee sea life will appear when you want it to. Worth taking the boat for a relaxing way of seeing the town and area from the water.

Dreadful dinner - on dinner&show cruise. Don't do it! Disgusted at what was served as dinner on the Dinner and Show cruise. Deep fried, soggy frozen finger foods from supermarket. Needed to buy a takeaway after as this food looked and tasted aweful. No side plates either. Dinner??? You need to step up your game Port Cruise. Have a look at what Sydney harbour dinner cruises serve for a similar price. This was NOT good value for money.

A Must-Do in Port Macqaurie Did the 11am cruise and had a wonderful time. Great cruise, good food and good entertainment. A must-do if you're in Port Macquarie.

Fab boat trip The staff made this trip so pleasurable, had the most enjoyable evening sailing in the waters off Port Macquarie ..beautiful views .the captain was kind enough to allow me to steer the ship for a short while. Can’t wait to go back, recommend this trip to anyone that is lucky enough to visit Port Macquarie ️

Was a nice cruise, loved the commentary of the sailor, he’s really fun.
We left too early to see the sun fully going down though, I expected to see the sunset on the river more, it was only at the end and still very light when getting of the boat.
Food is okay, staff very good.
Had a nice time. Good discount with my hostel as well, wouldn’t have paid the full price probably. For this price ($25) a great experience and worth it!
At the end it felt like a party boat and some man in a dolphin suit for the entertainment of the children.

Amazing Customer service, friendly, fun, understanding, accommodating and Entertaining! They welcomed us like family providing music, food, drinks, coffee, jokes and we spotted few dolphins when on board ! They are a Gem ????for Port Macquarie's tourism respecting people who are travelling hours to come over here ( contrary to the other next to them who were not happy to have customers and were entitled and rude)! MY hubby and my doggy had the best time on board ???? Thank you for responding promptly and giving us the best Holiday !

We celebrated my grandmother's 90th birthday yesterday on the Port Adventure Cruise boat.
To say all the guests enjoyed themselves would be an understatement.
David was brilliant and him and his crew made the day run smoothly without any problems.
Nothing was too much trouble for these guys.

I would highly recommend anyone try out a party with David and the team, or just a cruise for the sake or it.

Value for money on a relaxing trip around the water ways of Port Macquarie. The staff were very friendly and the Captain Tom Cruise gave us a very insightful tour as we went along. Highly recommend it.
