A trip to remember! We had such a wonderful time on Park Trek’s 3 capes adventure- the scenery was spectacular and the guides were truly wonderful, with exceptional knowledge of the flora, fauna and geography if the region, adding so much to our experience. The boat trip on the final day is not to be missed, giving a different perspective of the area. It was a truly special 4 days making lasting memories with great friends. Carrying day packs only, we walked 50km over 3 days and had the most amazing wilderness cruise on the fourth day. Incredible coastline views, gorgeous flora and fauna, stunning weather, and interesting “interp” from our personable and enthusiastic guides were highlights from our walks. We stayed in comfortable cabins at Stuarts Bay, where we could enjoy a swim at the end of the day. Dinner was a two course feast (byo alcohol) cooked by our guides which included roast lamb and lasagne for main course and apple crumble and pavlova for dessert. Gin tastings at a local distillery and a side trip to Port Arthur (for those still with juice in the legs) were an added bonus. Sunrises. Sunsets. A perfect holiday.

Tarkine is a great walking expereince The overall experience was great - our guides were good and the group a lot of fun and easy to get on with. The Tarkine is a beautiful area of old growth temperate rainforest, and Liffey Falls on the way back was amazing. Unfortunately our trip was impacted by bushfires so we did not get the full experience. The walking on this trip was relatively easy.

Out of this world magic Park Trek provided an amazing experience walking in untouched forest, while organising great accomodation, all transfers and wonderful catering.

Exhilarating, challenging, incredible - Three ways to describe the Three Capes walk This was a challenging walk but the beauty of the Three Capes / Tasman Peninsula Walk exceeded all expectations. Our guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in ensuring each member of our group was involved and enjoying the experience. The meals were delicious and accommodation really comfortable. A highlight was the late afternoon swim we took each evening in the icy waters of picturesque Stewarts Bay; a perfect tonic for sore legs and feet! Our group’s only dilemma now is which hike to choose with Park Trek next year.

A chance to experience an area not travelled I travelled with 5 friends and we were joined by 4 others.
All of us got on well which enhanced the experience.

I had the most wonderful experience doing the 4 days Victorian Alps trek last week. Grahame and Sandra were fabulous guides - highly experienced and very friendly, supportive and flexible. We saw the most amazing sights and vistas and felt so lucky to be experiencing such a beautiful part o f Australia up close. We stayed in beautiful Bright and enjoyed great accommodation and meals. Highly recommend!

I recently went on a three day / two night hike in Gariwerd (The Grampians) staying at the Northern Huts. We were a group of 5 fathers with our Year 6 sons, undertaking this challenging hike. This trip was organised and led by Charles, who provided us with excellent guidance and advice in preparation and during the trip. The hike went smoothly, and we experienced stunning landscapes, views, and camping locations. The time connecting as fathers with our boys was precious and will be fondly remembered. Overall, it was a great experience made possible by Park Trek.

We did the Park Trek Light to Light walk on the Southern NSW coast in early September and thoroughly recommend it to others. Four wonderful days of walking through varying coastal terrain in the pristine Beowa National park. The guides were great attending to all our needs both on and off the trail. Authentic accommodation in the lighthouse keepers cottages at Green Cape was comfortable and added to the rustic charm of this rejuvenating sojourn in nature. Whales in the sea, wombats, wallabies and wildflowers in the bush and amazing sunsets in the sky. What's not to love?

Stunning Tasmanian 3 Capes 4 day Trek December 2021. The views were amazing and rewarding at the end of the daily trek. Tasmania is always stunning and offers so much diversity. The 3 Capes trek allowed us to access an area that was previously difficult for us to plan and undertake and also incorporated a boat trip around the Peninsula to finish the Great 4 days.

GREAT GUIDED WALKS Very well-organized walking trip in the Flinders Ranges with great knowledgeable and hard-working guides. Some of the walks were potentially challenging given my age (76) but the guides worked hard at making sure we all had a good experience and encouraged us all to achieve our goals.

Fabulous 5 days in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges with Park Trek This tour ticked all the boxes! It was extremely well-organised. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, amusing, a terrific team and excellent drivers! They worked very hard to ensure we all had a terrific experience. The food and accommodation was high quality. The walks were challenging but doable by all, with helping hands from the guides where appropriate. They afforded excellent views of the stunning landscape. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Park Trek tours to friends and family and would happily use them again.

Wonderful walks in the Flinders Ranges The landscape was amazing! the walks were challenging but do-able. The guides (Peter and Graham) made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this trip as a way of seeing a remote and beautiful area.

I recently did the Parktrek Tarkine Wilderness Walk with my daughter and can’t recommend it highly enough. The trek was absolutely amazing and there is nothing I would change.
Our guides Sarah and Emma were brilliant. They were knowledgeable and patient, catering for the groups’ varying abilities and interests. The food and accommodation were great and the walks selected were incredible! Each day different with adjustments to our itinerary to accommodate the weather. I loved every minute of it!

The walk and the Park Trek significantly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The scenery, food and accommodation as well as the two guides Grahame and Peter were excellent and the organisation was first class. I highly recommend this for anyone thinking about it.

Park Trek Three Capes Track is one of the best! For walkers and hikers, this is one of the best trips you can do in Tasmania. The scenery is utterly amazing and the variety of terrains is very diverse. Park Trek is so great, their communication pre-trip is helpful but not over the top, the guides are always really prepared and knowledgable and also just lovely people. The standard of accommodation and food is very good (and lots of it!) and for someone like me who doesn't camp, that matters. I wouldn't hesitate to do another trip with them, this was my third!

We had an outstanding experience with guides Matt and Alex from Park Trek. From the moment of pick up to drop off the service was truly first-class and their easy going nature and positive can do attitude made our four days effortless and enjoyable. Each day began with a comprehensive briefing ensuring we were well prepared for the adventures ahead. Their extensive local knowledge provided insight into the area's history, flora, and fauna.

Brilliant Bay of Fires Andi and Talia were such wonderful guides. The scenery and historical sites were breathtaking. Lived the trip. Was able to completely decompress within 2 days. The walks were reasonably challenging but very doable as there is plenty of opportunity to stop along the way for photos or information from our wonderful guides about the history/landscape/flora/fauna. We travelled as a group of 3 couples and had the most fabulous time and can’t wait for our next adventure!

The Park Trek Tarkine walk was great. I loved the cottage accommodation in Corinna - a fabulous location surrounded by rainforest and water. The boat trip down the Pieman River was special and the wild west coast walk was beautiful . Superb walks and waterfalls, good food and good company.

What a wonderful experience it was hiking Snowy Mountains with Park Trek! Our guides Graham and Lorinda did a great job taking us to the most beautiful places. They were looking after us exceptionally well in between the hikes too, making sure we ate well and had a good time in general. I highly recommend Park Trek Walking Holidays!

Matt was an awesome guide and delivered on the promise of seeing a white wallaby despite our scepticism. He was very knowledgeable and a good cook. Very patient with all of us.

Just finished the 5 day Flinders Ranges Walk with Peter & Kelly, who were full of knowledge. We were well looked after, had plenty of nutritious & healthy food, comfortable accommodation & time for photos.

Spectacular scenery walking the Heysen Trail with views of the Elder Range, then walking into Wilpena Pound, stopping at Hills Homestead and onto Wilpena Pound Information Centre.

Walking Ikara Flinders Ranges with Parktrek walking yours Landscape and views were sensational. Grading of walks was true. Second morning was the hardest with steep section up and down but rest of days were more rocky rather than steep with plenty of time allowed. Guides were knowledgeable of region, history, fauna and flora. Also friendly, caring, helpful and patient. Food was fresh, plentiful, tasty and healthy. Accommodation could be upgraded. Queen size room in unit was too small for bed and gear. Bathroom which could be shared by for up to 6 walkers had toilet in it which was awkward especially trying to get out early in mornings. Plenty of other options on-site which could be offered as an upgrade. Rating would be 5 except for having to share the small unit.

Goldfields Track: So Much Variety - A Walk With The Lot! The Goldfields Track Walk around the Daylesford area was outstanding! I loved every moment of the 4 days with 5 very friendly women plus our amazing guides Bianca and Lorinda. We walked on a wide variety of tracks, each with its own highlights, though being a history lover, I found the Eureka Reef Walk particularly inspiring. I was able to complete all walks, but the option to shorten or omit sections was available at all times.
Our guides provided a wealth of information on various topics throughout the 4 days and I learnt a lot, even about things that I never thought would interest me eg fungi. The scenery was varied with opportunities for many photos of breath-taking views. There were several cultural experiences (bakery & chocolaterie excursions, visits to 'The Convent' and the Hepburn Bathhouse) included and one 2 hour block of choose-your-own-adventure. Many chose to relax in different ways at our accommodation but I loved doing the Heritage Walk around the Daylesford township, even though I ran out of time to complete it.
Both the accommodation (even without using the outside area which would be amazing in warmer months) and meals (nutritious, delicious and a wide range to choose from) were excellent. I was sorry when the 4th day ended. I certainly intend returning to the area (all new to me prior to this trip) on my own to complete the Daylesford Heritage Walk, view some of the other things the town and those nearby have to offer and enjoy some of the tracks we didn't cover on this trip. I would recommend this Walk to anyone with a love of being outdoors to enjoy healthy recreation and a reasonable level of fitness (easier than many walks I have been on). Gaining new knowledge is an added bonus.

Very satisfied customers. Great walk. Fun guides. This was our first ever guided walk of more than a day in an unfamiliar group. Despite the tracks being graded easy / moderate, at times walking was not exactly a "walk in the park". We perhaps weren't prepared for some of the slippery surfaces or having to be alert for quite a bit of the time. Despite this we managed really well and were well satisfied with completing it.

Our guides were very personable, polite, kind, funny and worked very hard to respond to our needs. They were great cooks and time managers and responsible drivers. They humored us (being slightly older than them) and engaged us in interesting conversations.

We had a lovely room. Facilities were clean, warm enough and very comfortable. No complaints.

Food was amazing. Great recipes. Beautifully cooked. No complaints.

Cost may be a bit of a barrier to regularly doing these kinds of activities.

We probably would have benefited from a quick chat to someone before we went as one of us might have taken walking poles.

A little bit more info on the natural wildlife would have been great.

Breaking up some of the longer walking stretches might have helped make things a bit more interesting, although it does feel good to have achieved a decent amount of the track.

It was my first guided hiking tour and it was a wonderful experience. I hope to be back. Highlights for me were the colourful fungi, scenery, company, food and of course the very friendly echidna.

I would like to commend ParkTrek along with guides, Morgan and Matt for providing a quality and professional service.

Tassie Hikes I have done the Bay of Fires, Bruny Island and Three Capes hikes with Park Trek. Each time I travelled with a group of friends. The accommodation was comfortable, good food and plenty of it and all of the guides have been friendly and very informative.

Three Capes Walk The reward of magnificent scenery had to he the highlight of the four days Our Park Trek guides looked after our every need were experienced well versed about vegetation its inhabitants and many of the spectacular rock formations.
At the end of each day our very energetic hosts prepared scrumptious meals. Nothing was left to chance. Could not help but have the very best time and experience.

Cradle Mountain and Tarkine Having done other walks with other companies, our group of eight ladies found Park Trek to be equal if not better than these. Their pricing was competitive and the accommodation, organisation and food was of a high standard. Even though some of the weather wasn't ideal our competent and knowledgable guides, Rose and Bernie, took this into account and adjusted our hikes to suit. They made sure all of the group was catered for with dietary requirements and the hikes were suited to the varying abilities and interests of the group. We would thoroughly recommend Park Trek to anyone wishing to explore this area through Cradle Mountain and the Tarkine 5 day walk as it gives such a variety of terrain, landscapes, flora and fauna.

We (9 friends) all in our early 70’s have just completed the Bay of Fires walk in Tasmania. Bianca and Jess our tour guides were absolutely fabulous so knowledgeable and jolly good cooks. Icena shearer’s quarters are fabulous so comfortable. The evenings were great fun fabulous dinners. We laughed for four days!

Bay of Fires Walk We had the most wonderful four days walking the Bay of Fires Tasmania with Park Trek. Their guides Bianca and Jess were fabulous so knowledgeable and kind. Not only that but fabulous cooks. The Icena shearer’s quarters were so comfortable we had such fun there.

Fabulous Trek Park Trek did an amazing job on our Bay of Fires Trek in November 2022. Despite two of our four days having atrocious weather, the guides remained friendly and encouraging the whole time. Their level of knowledge of the area and the history was outstanding. They went over and above for two participants who were blind, consulting with professionals from Vision Australia prior to and during the Trek and altering the planned route accordingly. No judgement whatsoever. They were also willing to provide appropriate support for those who were struggling with mental health issues and checked in with all of us on a regular basks to see if we needed to stop for a rest. The FarmStay at Icena was very more than adequate and had a welcoming feel. The food the guides cooked was abundant and delicious.
I would highly recommend this Trek and this company to anyone

Lucky us, Snow in the Mountains. Fantastic walks in the Snowy Mountains with 2 Park Trek guides. A magical scene along the Thredbo River while snowing.Climbed to the top of Mt Kosciuszko in challenging conditions. Did some other bush walks, no snow, what a contrast. Finally, a different view of Mt Kosciuszko on the way to Mt Stilwell.
Knowledgeable guides who looked after us well.

Beautiful Park Trek North East Tassie 4 day Hike Park Trek did a great job. 4 beautiful days, excellent, knowledgable guides. I always felt in safe hands. Our group had great fun and loved the never ending food. The FarmStay (Icena) was very clean and comfy. The different days took us to different areas (not all in Bay of Fires but all just as wonderful to discover) and our guides took care to check with us regularly whether we needed to stop, if we'd like to go a bit further etc A wonderful 4 days that I highly recommend.

I just completed 5day trek in Bay of Fires. It was an excellent adventure with two very knowledgeable and personable guides. I highly recommend this experience with 5 stars. I now look forward to my next trek with Park Trek.
