Excellent diving sites, good vibes, professional, organised and safe! Would highly reccommend this dive company! I had an absolute blast with Whitsunday Dive Adventures on my 2-dive day trip!! I had Freddie as my instructor and he was excellent, very professional but down for a laugh! The rest of the crew, Georgia, Tom and Skipper Chris were great! We loved Georgia's clear communication and fun vibes, loved hearing about Tom's diving stories in his dive master training, and skipper Chris got us safely to and from Airlie Beach and was across the best dive sites. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would recommend it to anyone thinking about getting some dives in!

The worst dive company. Unfortunately the 2 girls Amber and Georgia were very rude to me and my family. They told me I was rude when I was asking questions. They l lied to other passages. They overcharge you to scuba dive and are just rude in general. I would definitely not recommend to go diving with them. There are many better dive companies in Airlie. Please do not book with these narcissists. Ive had 60 plus dives and can say this is the worst dive company I’ve been with.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding dive experience – worth every extra effort We have had many incredible experiences with Whitsunday Dive Adventures and I couldn’t recommend them more highly.
Earlier this year, Chris certified two of my kids and a friend, while also completing the Advanced PADI course for my daughter and I. What really stood out was how thoughtfully everything was planned. Chris coordinated the schedule so that while my daughter and I were doing our Advanced dives, we were able to overlap and dive with my kids on their final day of certification. That meant we could all dive together as a family, which was absolutely fantastic. We had so much fun and it made the experience incredibly special.
We’ve just returned again this December for a day of recreational diving. Although Chris wasn’t able to dive with us this time, the crew and staff were terrific. My kids were especially excited to dive again with Amber, and she was just as excited to see them. The rest of the crew were also fantastic, friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about what they do.
We were staying on Hamilton Island, which they currently don’t service, so we travelled to Airlie Beach each day to dive with them and that really says it all. We chose to do that rather than use an operator with a Hamilton Island pickup, simply because the experience with Whitsunday Dive Adventures is that good.
I also observed the team working with beginners who were finding diving challenging, and they handled those situations beautifully. They were patient, calm, and supportive, making sure everyone felt safe and still had a positive experience.
From complete beginners through to advanced divers, this is a truly outstanding operation. Professional, caring, and absolutely worth going out of your way for.

A great two days out! Whitsunday Dive Adventures were great. We had three instructors: Chris, Amber and Hanna. My wife and I learnt snorkelling around the Great Barrier Reef and Hanna was great in helping us gain water confidence.

My kids completed their PADI Open Water course (scuba diving) with the help of Amber while also completing 4 dives in total averaging at around 45 minutes each. They are very child friendly across the two days that we had them. They also experienced dives around Hooke Island, Manta Ray Bay and more. You can dive and snorkel with fish and the vast amount of coral along with a comforting guide to assist you on your journey.

The staff make a calm, easy going, enjoyable atmosphere for all. Highly recommended for all levels and ages.

Double dive around hook island Such a friendly and professional crew- lovely small group with guide and fabulous brand new gear. (I got to use a wing!) Had a fun morning out on some pretty spots around Hook Island. They are so helpful and cater for all levels, and I was able to have long dives, both an hour or more. Allowing people to surface when they were low on air but others to keep going is a bonus. Highly recommend!!!

Friendly but not great with kids. Don’t expect full service with the gear. It’s ok. Friendly young Aussie staff. Cranky German guy called Chris drove the boat. Nice people but not cut out for junior open water divers. My son is 14 and i did not sense a lot of patience with him. All good but maybe advertise as adult only. Most of my dives have been in south east asia but i have to say there wasn’t a whole lot to look at bar a few big angel fish. Muffins and fruit served free. $25 lunch didn’t look appetizing. Expert you to take care of all your gear. What is normal in SEA they consider
Princess treatment. At the end they thanked us for diving in the Great Barrier Reef? I don’t think we left the Withsundays?

Great team and amazing dive locations Incredible dive experience. The crew and the Whitsunday Islands really turned it on.

The team at Whitsunday Dive Adventures are really upbeat and cheery. The vibe is infectious and you know it’ll be a good day.

And the dive locations! This time it was Mantaray Bay and Black Island’s ‘Wonderwall’. It really felt like diving in an aquarium there were that many fish and coral. Visibility was beyond expectations (15-20m) for diving. The DM’s are flexible and ensure that your dive time is maximised.

Equipment is new and top notch. Xdeep wings!

Padi Open Water Diver Course I have just completed my Padi Open Water Diver Course with Whitsundays Dive Adventures. WOW! What an amazing 3 days it was. I was lucky enough to have Georgia as my Dive Instructor and her energy, passion and patience are perfect for her job. As a beginner I was confident that the training I had received allowed me to safely enjoy the diving with the knowledge that I knew what I was doing. I loved the dive sites. Visibility was great and there were plenty of fish and coral to enjoy. On the boat Georgias energy is matched by Amber. They have great engagement with the guests through humour whilst also sharing plenty of fun facts about the reef and sea life. If you are thinking about doing this course, DO IT! Huge thanks to Georgia, Amber and Skipper Chris for providing such a great experience. I can’t wait to go again!

Reef Dive Inspires Concert Ticket Purchase. I had the opportunity to dive two consecutive days with Chris, Georgia and Amber on my 60th Birthday. The GBR has been a long term bucket list activity for me. They were all very personable, lots of fun and very professional. It is possible that Georgia and Amber have buddings singing careers in their future.

As a first time diver on the Great Barrier I was blown away by the coral and the diversity of fish. After visiting one of their favorites "Wonderwall" I felt inspired to fly to Melbourne just to see Oasis.

I have only ever given 3 stars to anyone on Trip Advisor before, but they earned all 5.

Sensational A very big thank you to our instructor Georgia who trained myself and my partner to get our PADI open water certification. Georgia was patient, confident and such a warm and friendly person which made it comfortable and took my nerves away from being underwater. I love scuba diving so much now that we went out on another two dives with them.
Chris and Eunice the owners were super friendly and we bought some really fantastic fog free masks from them that worked like magic especially at my favourite site “Wonderwall”
We will definitely be coming back in 6 months to get some more dives under our belt.

Five star scuba diving experience from Airlie Beach My daughter in law and I had an amazing day with Whitsunday dive adventures. We just loved the care and expertise of the staff and the small group experience. It was my daughter in laws very first diving experience and she did the introduction to scuba diving . Her instructor Amber was so caring and supportive and Jana is now hooked on continuing her diving after such a positive experience.. I am so thankful to Amber for creating the right experience for her as she was very nervous to begin with. I would highly recommend this dive group for any wannabe divers. Nevertheless I was the only one applying for the course, it still took place. Georgia was my instructor and did a fantastic job. Awesome dives! What a fun day! And what a great bunch of people - Chris, Georgia and Amber were awesome! We were lucky enough to be just the 2 of us with 2 instructors and went out to their favourite spot, Pinnacle Point, which I highly recommend if you’re advanced. It’s quite a ride. The 2nd dive ‘Wonderwall’ we saw reef sharks resting between rocks, a sleeping turtle and a moray! As well as numerous jacks, Emperor fish and grouper. Such a fun day- the girls are hilarious and so lovely - they just made everything into a great experience. And as we were heading back, Chris spotted a baby whale! It doesn’t get much better than that! Loved it. Thank you guys! 🙏

Unforgettable diving with WDA (and the highlight of our honeymoon!)

My husband and I dove with WDA in mid-November, and we couldn’t have asked for a better way to explore the Great Barrier Reef! Chris, Eunice, and Amber were as delightful as they were professional, creating the most thoughtful and memorable dive experience we’ve ever had.

We spent two days diving with WDA and only wish we’d had time for more. What makes them special:

-Small-group, personalized diving: We were 2 of just 8 divers - so different from the 50+ diver boats. As a freshly certified diver, I felt comfortable asking tons of questions before and after each dive and really appreciated the crew's patience and attention.

-Access to pristine reef sites: With a smaller vessel, Chris brought us to incredible, less-trafficked reef locations not accessible to larger operators. We were lucky with the weather, and the reef was unimaginably gorgeous. Chris and Amber were fantastic divemasters, pointing out reef creatures we never would have spotted on our own.

-Thoughtful, safety-conscious service (and great vibes!): The WDA crew is the perfect balance of professionalism and fun. They made us feel completely at ease - from clear safety briefings to fresh-cut fruit and snacks between dives. They were even able to pick us up and drop us off each day (which, not having a car, we really appreciated). Most of all, they were just genuinely kind and personable.

Money grabbing! Money grabbing and terrible customer service!! My flight to Proserpine was cancelled which meant I would not arrive in time for my dive. Despite having multiple spaces available on their later dates, they said that I had to pay again and rebook. I never asked for a full refund but simply to join their tour the following day instead (which would be at no cost to them). Kindness goes a long way and this company has none.

Fantastic Diving Training! My thirteen year old son and I recently completed our ‘PADI Open Water Dive Course’ with Chris and the team at Whitsunday Dive Adventures. Our instructor Shelby was fantastic and very patient with us while we were learning our diving fundamentals. Amber and Alison were also on board coaching the other group and were always very friendly and helpful. We were taken to some amazing dive locations and they were always extremely professional. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for dive certification or guided tours.

2 day charter with Whitsunday Dive Adventure - amazing diving and got kids PADI qualified at same time! We had an incredible two-day charter with Whitsunday Dive Adventures from Airlie Beach — and can’t recommend them highly enough.

Chris, the captain and dive instructor, was brilliant from start to finish. He helped both our kids complete their final four dives for their PADI Open Water qualification, and his experience, patience and calm approach made all the difference. The kids learned so much under his guidance — by the final dive, their confidence had grown hugely. Chris’s briefings before each dive were clear, detailed, and packed with expert tips (I picked up plenty myself!).

The two adults in our group also dived, and we really appreciated that Chris and his team chose sites based on the best conditions each day — even with some windy weather, the boat ride was smooth and the dives were fantastic.

Whitsundays best Dive operator Chris and his team are highly professional and accomodating. All communication was promptly attended to with a desire to provide customer satisfaction. Whilst staying on Hamilton Island, I found the dive operators to be unprofessional, unreliable and with limited options. Thank goodness for Whitsunday Dive Adventures and Chris's ability to action the needs of my family.

Great intro diving session Small group trip of only 10 maximum, lucky to have great conditions for snorkeling and intro diving for the teens. Very friendly crew, attentive and nothing was rushed which is important on the first try. Just a perfect day out and introduction to scuba diving on the reef.

Chill out We had a really god day out with Chris and Jess to Hook Island. They have a nice easy manner, are attentive to requests, relaxed about your being able to use the tank you bought and navigate heavy seas well. Amazing morning on the reef Really amazing crew and a very professional outfit.

On the day we went there were 4 people on a course, 1 dsd, one snorkeller and us (2 certified divers - OW and OWSI). We had the option to follow the course or dive in our our buddy team. An excellent briefing was given with a full site description and discussion about dive safety procedures. As a dive professional it's easy to be taken advantage of but here I felt very looked after and respected.

I would 100% recommend this trip to certified and new divers alike. The max capacity of 8 people means that's everyone is very well cared for.
