Wonderful escape from the city! Wonderful way to meet wildlife and get out of the city! After petting koalas and feeding kangaroos, I felt I had gotten my money’s worth but that was just the start. The day continued with beautiful views and so much information about Australia. Tony was wonderful. I would absolutely recommend to spend a day with Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine!

South of Sydney- wildlife, waterfall, coastal, wine country touring! What a fabulous day wandering south of Sydney! Our local guide, Rob was simply the best. From local stories, to a on-time itinerary, with plenty of stops for photos this was a great experience. We saw the coastline, we traveled winding roads up mountains, we saw local wildlife, beautiful gardens and farms, coastal cafe lunch, a stunning waterfall and finished with a wine tasting. Learned much about this beautiful place along the way! Rob is simply amazing and his enthusiasm for his home comes through all day!

Must do! Great trip. I had a very detailed review done but it didn’t save so I’m not going to rewrite it all but it was great! Rohan was great and exceeded expectations. Amazing views, lunch swim, koala, kangaroo, waterfalls, wine! What’s not to love. Ended with 13,000 steps for the day. There is a changing space and shower if you want to swim. Would recommend to anyone visiting and very moderately priced for all you get!

Outstanding!! I cannot say enough great things about our excursion with Local Travel Planner!! The wildlife, waterfalls and wine day tour was perfection! Our guides were super friendly and knowledgable and went above and beyond. They even had large umbrellas for us to use, should it start to rain, which it did. But that didn’t dampen our spirits which tells you how awesome the tour was!! We experienced so much in one day and it was the highlight of our trip down under. Unforgettable Aussie Day Trip We flew in from Arizona and if you’re in Sydney and want the perfect escape into real Australia without any planning hassle, this day trip is an absolute must! We spent the day feeding adorable koalas (they’re so gentle and fluffy up close!) and kangaroos, which was hands-down the highlight – there’s nothing like hand-feeding these iconic animals in a relaxed, natural setting.
Our guide, the legendary “Other Steve,” made the whole experience. As a native Australian with 27 years of guiding under his belt, he was incredibly knowledgeable, hilarious, and full of great stories. His passion for the history and wildlife shone through every stop, and his humor had our small group laughing the entire time, he’s outstanding and truly elevates the day!
We ventured out of the city to some stunning spots: breathtaking waterfalls cascading through lush bushland, dramatic seaside cliffs with epic ocean views, and more. We enjoyed delicious food at a charming seaside café, then capped it off with a private wine tasting that was the perfect relaxed finish – great wines, beautiful vineyard vibes, and fantastic company.
The small group size kept everything comfortable and personal, with plenty of time at each stop and no rushing around. It’s the ideal tour for anyone who prefers experts handling the details and taking you to the best hidden gems near Sydney.

Great Way to see a Different Part of Australia The WWW tour from Sydney was a full day of traveling, but the van was very comfortable and it was a good way to see sites away from the big cities. Our tour guide/driver, Emma, was very personable and I enjoyed listening to and talking with her. She was knowledgeable about the areas we toured, and offered historical and present day info during the drive. Our first stop was the Symbio Wildlife Park, where we arrived before the crowds and were able to enjoy the Koala Experience before other visitors arrived. We also got to feed the kangaroos and wallabies during the quiet time. Emma interacted easily with the Park staff and seemed to have a good relationship with them.

From the Park we traveled along the coast to Bulli Beach, stopping at a couple of scenic overlooks before having lunch at the Bulli Beach Cafe. We had the opportunity to swim in the Bulli Rockpool, but nobody in the group I was with took advantage of that. Instead, we spent a little time walking along the beach.

From Bulli Beach we traveled through the beautiful Southern Highlands to the Morton National Park. Once we arrived at the Park, we walked along a couple of trails and saw a few small waterfalls, before arriving at an overlook to see the picturesque Fitzroy Falls (81m). After seeing the Fitzroy Falls, we headed out for the winery and the wine tasting. The winery itself was beautiful and they offered us a small cheese/fruit assortment during the tasting. (Although I don't drink wine, a couple I was traveling with bought a bottle of wine to take with them on a cruise they were leaving on the next day.)

Walking through the Symbio Wildlife Park was mostly on paved walkways; walking through the Morton National Park was on what I considered typical park trails through the woods but with quite a few sets of steps, and was more difficult. It was a long day and we covered a lot of miles, but overall it was a wonderful experience and I'm glad I took the tour.

Koalas and more This was the best tour I have ever experienced. Our guide, Steve, was outstanding. Super friendly and provided a lot of interesting information along the way. Our interaction with koalas and kangaroos made the trip to Australia perfect!

Less touristy, more genuine. You will LOVE this tour! The price is well worth the experience. Rhoan our tour guide was fantastic. We entered the animal sanctuary before the general public, got social time with the kangaroos, took a drive to the National Park which was breathtaking. Lastly going to Centennial winery was great. Tasting their sparkling wine was so good and getting to pet the winery dog Talli. Couple spots where you had to be in the car for a bit but was good for a short nap. Most tourists go to the Blue Mountains when in Sydney, but I can’t recommend this enough. You basically have each location to yourself and your small group. Less touristy and more genuine.

The multiple scenic views (beach, the coastal bridge, waterfall, etc) were beautiful and offered a chance to do some walking and stretch our legs. Lunch was delicious. Worth every penny! Emma was a friendly, knowledgeable and informative guide who showed us a fantastic time on this full day adventure! She kept us on time and knew so much about each location she took us to and filled our day with great information that we otherwise wouldn’t have known. When I got back and told my friends who did not choose to do the tour with me about how great it was (locations & overall experience) they were all regretting their decision to not join me. A day of learning and loving Australia! An incredible look at Australia south of Sydney. Brilliant views of mountain and cliff, sea and rainforest. A special stop for our tour at Symbio zoo-patting koalas and feeding kangaroos from our hands. Also many Aussie birds and animals and reptiles (didn’t pat those). Saw two national parks and wildlife and birds in their habitats. A most knowledgeable guide: birds, animals, culture and history- we learned a lot! A lovely lunch at seaside and day ended with wine tasting in a vineyard- magnificent tastes, views, animals, and birds. AND Greta people - what a thrill for us all!

Wildlife, Waterfalls, and Wine, Oh wow! We took our tour in February 2025 with Rohan. Rohan is an absolute pro who clearly loves his job and full of interesting and relevant information. His attention to detail and keeping track of the tour members, the schedule, and road was fantastic. I would recommend him and this tour (or any tour he gives) whole heartedly.

Well worth it! This tour was amazing and you shouldn't think twice about booking. It takes you through all the wildlife highlights you should see in Australia without the crowds. Our tour with Steve was so memorable . He is extremely informed about the sights and the animals we saw. We throughly enjoyed ourselves . He was able to give use the chance to pet a Kaolo bear with a Joey in the pouch, hand feed docile Kangeroos, see incredible sights and ended the tour with wine and cheese tasting at a winery. A must in Sydney! This tour is amazing! You will have memories for a lifetime. Steve is very knowledgeable and accommodating. Each stop is worth it. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed the wildlife park. The up and close and personal with the animals was amazing!

Truly a Slice of Australia in Just One Day Highly recommend!! A great day outside the city, very well paced and tons of beautiful scenery along the drive. And we totally lucked out being paired with Steve - not only was he just a great guy to hang out with, but extremely knowledgeable feeding us nuggets of local history/facts throughout the day. There is a bit of driving and Steve was an expert driver - I’m usually prone to getting car sick, and even throughout the winding roads along the coast and through the Royal National Park, Steve was a total pro.

This trip was a very good choice. Steve is a really good tour guide, he showed us everything, we enjoyed meeting the koalas and kangaroos, the beautiful countryside and the waterfall. We can only recommend it to everyone!

Tony our guide provided us with plenty of information about the areas we drove through and visited. His vast knowledge and great people skills made our journey with a small group a very pleasant one. There was a lot of driving involved but it was worth the trip. We enjoyed petting koalas, feeding kangaroos, sightseeing, walking along a waterfall and tasting wine in a nice boutique winery.

Our tour guide (the “other” Steve) was beyond knowledgable on all of the native flora and fauna - as well as having extensive knowledge on all the animals at the wildlife park, and even in depth insight into the wines we were about to taste, giving a wonderful introduction to the vineyard - before we even stepped foot inside!

A fun filled adventure day that ticks so many boxes. The van was clean and safely driven, the group wasn’t too big and getting to the wildlife enclosure before it was open to the public was worth the price alone!!

The koala experience happens before Simbio opens and you're given plenty of time to spend with the koalas. Hand feeding kangaroo and wallaby, and emu....blows my mind! A wallaby held my hand! Who gets to do that?!? We did! The rest of the park is also something not to be missed.
The waterfall was so beautiful and a fairly easy little walk. There are some stairs to two of the viewpoints, but even if you don't go all the way to the furthest one, you still get a clear, gorgeous view from the second viewpoint with less stairs to manage if needs be.
The wine was nice and the snacks served with it are plentiful and enhance the experience as well. The views of the vineyard - so very lovely!
On the way back into Sydney we made a tiny detour to see wild kangaroos just hanging out in a farmer's field. The whole drive this day, once we got out of the city, was just stunning. Even the giant "potato".
This was time and money very well spent and truly was our favorite day in Australia. I hope you decide to take this tour!

Thoroughly Knowledgeable guide, great tour. I’ve been on solo tours all around the world, but this one certainly stood out to me. They definitely fulfill all promises and it was super fun! Loved the wine (and I’m not typically a drinker), the animals were super cute, and the waterfall walk was very doable.

The “Wildlife, waterfalls and wine” tour delivers an ecompassing experience, like a sampling of Australia’s best features. We had a very satisfying close encounter with cute animals, pristine national parks, amazing views, good wine, and charming small communities. The guide rounded all that with insights into the Australian history, geogragphy, culture, and daily life. This day trip is very rewarding and comfortable at the same time.

We had a great tour. Each of the four stops was worth the price of the ticket on its own. From feeding wallabies by hand to breathtaking beach views to the majesty of Fitzroy Falls and the Blue Mountains to intimacy at the winery, it was a very memorable day. Steve's encyclopedic knowledge of local history, geology, flora and fauna added real depth. I would recommend the day to anyone but particularly when you are still a little jet lagged and want to look around without having to handle the logistics yourself.

What an amazing and one-of-a-kind experience! The best experience of the dozens I've taken I've taken worldwide. These memories, images, and videos will forever live in my heart and mind. Petting the Koalas, feeding the Kangaroos, and Wallabies was the highly of this trip. Our tour guide Rohan was incredible, full of knowledge and thoughtful throughout our tour. We also tour some waterfalls, and a very famous winery were artist like Sting, Cindy Lauper, Fatboy Slim, and other well know artist have performed. I would do this tour all over again, once I return to Sydney. This tour company is a world class act, top notch, and attention to detail is amazing. I highly recommend this tour; you're going to have a lot of fun and not want to leave the Symbio Wildlife Park.

Making Memories! This whole day was amazing. Steve was our tour guide and was nonstop enthusiastic about all the flora and fauna surrounding us. He imparted historical, geographical, and ecozone information continually during the tour. The tour bus was comfortable and we were able to hear everything the guide said because he used a microphone/speaker system. The stop at Symbio and the private close contact there with the animals was the essence of the visit to Australia. The extensive sightseeing, delicious lunch, and the winetasting were icing on the cake. We had a thoroughly enjoyable time with many memories created that day.

Don't hesitate; book today! This tour was absolutely amazing! I was only in Sydney for six days; this was the perfect way to get out of the city and see more that Eastern Australia has to offer. Getting up close with koalas, wallabies and kangaroos was a dream come true, and I loved being able to get in before the park opened. The views were spectacular throughout the journey and we learned so much about the flora and fauna of the area. The wine was delicious and I enjoyed the snacks that came with the tasting.

The Best Tour in Sydney An incredible once in a lifetime experience. The Koalas at Symbio were a sight to see & Steve was a world-class guide. My wife and I did several tours we found through trip advisor on our stay in Sydney and this was by far our favorite.

Best day ever! Emma was absolutely fantastic. She was a great driver, host, photographer and so knowledgeable. This was the best tour of our 2 month trip around the world. We had 3 in our group with 8 in the van. The van was comfortable and clean. The private time with the koalas and hand feeding the kangaroos was unforgettable. The itinerary was a nice pace, lunch was delicious and the wine was superb. We paid over $1000 USD for private tours for our group that were no where near the quality of this small group tour. We are a picky group and everyone said it was the best day. Do not hesitate. We are going back to Sydney soon and hope to do the tour again!

An amazing taste of the Sydney coast This was an absolutely amazing trip which really has something for everyone. I booked it for my daughter’s 20th birthday and it really didn’t disappoint. Steve, our tour guide, was extremely knowledgeable and made the day fun and exciting. From cuddling koalas and kangaroos, to lunch on a beautiful beach, walking to spectacular waterfalls and then wine tasting-the trip has it all. It is honestly the best day trip I have ever been on and I would thoroughly recommend this to everyone.
