Spectacular walk in the Tassie wilderness The Tarkine wilderness walk in Tasmania hosted by Park Trek is very diverse with lush rainforest, waterfalls, windswept coastline, specular mountain top views, and a river cruise. It is challenging at times, especially the uphill bits, but very achievable by anyone with moderate fitness. It's certainly a very rewarding thing to do and is a great way to see this pristine unspoilt part of the world knowing that you are in the safe hands of expert guides. The accommodations at Tullah Lodge and Corinna are fantastic too with spacious, comfortable rooms. Dining options at both are great too, especially at Corinna where the staff are very helpful and friendly and the food fantastic.

Breath taking views of the Three Capes Beautiful experience doing the Three Capes walking holiday with Park Trek. The guides set a great tempo for the walks, with a good amount of stops, so that one could breath in the fresh air and appreciate the views, but not too many, so you could get your momentum. Great group of people to walk with, and easy social interactions and experiences which made the group travel along well.

Must do Bucket list Sometimes when you finally get to do a trip which was one your must do it fall short of your expectations. Not Park Trek. They exceed my expectations and more.
Everything was taken care of. The walk covered all the highlights with a good mix of challenges and easier days
After a long day on the track it was wonderful to be picked up and transported back to accomodation, which suited the ambiance of the area, to be served fresh delicious food by our supportive caring guides

Fun trekking with Park Trek on the rooftop of Oz Two experienced and very professional guides led our group of 8 on our 4 days trekking in the Snowy Mountains, with overnight accommodation at a comfortable Thredbo lodge. Our random grouping of walkers gelled into a happy and sociable party - all fit and healthy with no dawdlers. Leadership provided by our guides was excellent and empathetic. Return transport between Canberra and Thredbo - and each day out to and returning from the days trail was hassle-free by minibus. Catering provided by our guides was excellent quality with generous servings.

Weather conditions experienced on our 2nd day were challenging with gale force winds and a few light showers, but this day on the trail was a lot of fun requiring bare foot crossings of very cold small rivers, and traversing areas where thick snow had drifted across the track. The going was never dangerous and the scenery spectacular.

Our 3rd days objective in windy but fine walking conditions was to the summit of Mt Kosciusko - for me the highlight of the trip, again requiring walking across some sections of snow covered track - walking poles of great assistance. The 2 shorter half day walks (on 1st and last day of the trip) both below the tree line amongst Snow Gums were both delightful and a good contrast to the 2 full day alpine treks. To summarise: I thoroughly enjoyed and recommend this mini adventure.

All sorts of weather sun, snow, wind, rain, but all great. The gradings were exactly as described. Enough of a challenge without being too hard. Park Trek guides are professional, knowledgeable and awesome. The accommodation and food was outstanding. Brilliant four days!

Pack free Three Capes Walk My original booking was for the Cradle Mountain trip, but as numbers weren’t met, I transferred to the Three Capes walk.
The Three Capes trip was great, Andrea was a great tour leader and lead our walks, drove the minibus and ensured we were fed and watered!
The walks were beautiful and Andrea shared her knowledge of the geology, fauna and flora which added to the trip.

The Beautiful Tarkine A wonderful way to visit the Tarkine Wilderness area is with Park Trek. The guides Matt and Oscar were capable, knowledgeable and experienced which allowed us to enjoy each day while they seamlessly managed the logistics. I loved our comfortable little cottage “Louise Lovely” at Corinna and could have stayed longer. The food prepared by our guides was wholesome, plentiful and delicious. They catered well to the vegetarians in the group. This is my second adventure with Park Trek and I am keen to go again. We must all see the Tarkine before it disappears from logging and mining. This precious and unique wilderness area must be protected and given National Park status before it is lost forever.

Great Ocean Walk breathtaking views, well organised A really enjoyable holiday including a small group of 6 travellers plus 2 guides who couldn't have been more helpful. It was well organised and the walking levels as described in the trip notes. We walked through very varied countryside and the coastal views were breathtaking. The accommodation was comfortable and the food good.

Days in Daylesford The tour to Daylesford exceeded my expectations. The guides, Bianca & Curtis, were knowledgeable in the local history as well as skilled in the kitchen preparing our meals. Our accommodation was very comfortable. Just a great few days walking in nature & history, so relaxing.

Our 9 Day Flinders Camel Trek exceeded our expectations. The food, the knowledge shared, and the country traversed were all amazing.

I love camels, walking, eating around a campfire and sleeping under the stars so this was a perfect adventure for me.

Every day flowed so well and we became very attached to the daily routine of getting the camels ready, walking without a known destination in mind, setting up our swags and having a wet wipe bath before tucking into yet another delicious meal prepared over the campfire by Ryan, Dylan and Ori.

Three Capes Adventure A nice way to experience the Three Capes & Tasman Peninsula staying in accommodation nearby. We enjoyed the beauty of the Three Capes and did the walk with a light day pack, not having to carry a full pack which is required if you are staying in the huts. The guides were very knowledge and helpful which made for a very special experience.

Great experience with stunning nature walks on Kangaroo Island. It was great organised walking tour of Kangaroo Island with other activities to fill in the time after or before our walk for the day. The guides were very helpful and knowledgeable with a great attitude to all our members.

Guided Walk Our group of ladies had a great time- great walk, excellent guides and awesome food which we didn't have to cook ourselves.

Flinders and Beyond Camel Trek Trekking with camels in the Flinders Ranges was a unique and memorable experience. The cameleer, Ryan, was extremely knowledgeable on camels as well as the geology, astronomy, flora and fauna of the area. Each day we were able to participate in preparing the camels for the day and soon discovered their individual personalities.
The daily walking was relatively easy with challenges over some rocky surfaces and warm temperatures.
Bush camping each night saw us setting up swags prior sitting around the camp fire sharing excellent meals. The food was plentiful and enjoyed under the stunning stars of outback Australia.
I highly recommend this trip for anyone wanting to experience something a little different.

Autumn Victorian Alps adventure A fun trip with knowledgable guides who seems to enjoy walking and taking others walking. Easy pick up and drop off, and they made a special airport run to assist flight home for some of the party. The food was plentiful and wholesome. The other people walking were interesting and the groups well match with regard fitness adn capacity. The accomodation was basic but clean and comfortable.

Cradle Mountain the easy way. Very well organised trip with a very happy, friendly, helpful, knowledgeable
guide. Food and accommodation were extremely good and more than adequate.
Walking tracks were well maintained and the scenery was fabulous. There were challenging parts to the Hanson's peak and Marion's Lookout walks but well worth the effort. The Dove Lake walk was one of the nicest walks we have ever done.
Highly recommend this tour.

A trip to remember! We had such a wonderful time on Park Trek’s 3 capes adventure- the scenery was spectacular and the guides were truly wonderful, with exceptional knowledge of the flora, fauna and geography if the region, adding so much to our experience. The boat trip on the final day is not to be missed, giving a different perspective of the area. It was a truly special 4 days making lasting memories with great friends. Gin tastings at a local distillery and a side trip to Port Arthur (for those still with juice in the legs) were an added bonus. Sunrises. Sunsets. A perfect holiday.

Tarkine is a great walking expereince The overall experience was great - our guides were good and the group a lot of fun and easy to get on with. The Tarkine is a beautiful area of old growth temperate rainforest, and Liffey Falls on the way back was amazing. Unfortunately our trip was impacted by bushfires so we did not get the full experience. The walking on this trip was relatively easy.

Out of this world magic Park Trek provided an amazing experience walking in untouched forest, while organising great accomodation, all transfers and wonderful catering.

Exhilarating, challenging, incredible - Three ways to describe the Three Capes walk This was a challenging walk but the beauty of the Three Capes / Tasman Peninsula Walk exceeded all expectations. Our guides were knowledgeable, enthusiastic and genuinely invested in ensuring each member of our group was involved and enjoying the experience. The meals were delicious and accommodation really comfortable. A highlight was the late afternoon swim we took each evening in the icy waters of picturesque Stewarts Bay; a perfect tonic for sore legs and feet! Our group’s only dilemma now is which hike to choose with Park Trek next year.

A chance to experience an area not travelled I travelled with 5 friends and we were joined by 4 others.
All of us got on well which enhanced the experience.

I had the most wonderful experience doing the 4 days Victorian Alps trek last week. Grahame and Sandra were fabulous guides - highly experienced and very friendly, supportive and flexible. We saw the most amazing sights and vistas and felt so lucky to be experiencing such a beautiful part o f Australia up close. We stayed in beautiful Bright and enjoyed great accommodation and meals. Highly recommend!

I recently went on a three day / two night hike in Gariwerd (The Grampians) staying at the Northern Huts. We were a group of 5 fathers with our Year 6 sons, undertaking this challenging hike. This trip was organised and led by Charles, who provided us with excellent guidance and advice in preparation and during the trip. The hike went smoothly, and we experienced stunning landscapes, views, and camping locations. The time connecting as fathers with our boys was precious and will be fondly remembered. Overall, it was a great experience made possible by Park Trek.

We did the Park Trek Light to Light walk on the Southern NSW coast in early September and thoroughly recommend it to others. Four wonderful days of walking through varying coastal terrain in the pristine Beowa National park. The guides were great attending to all our needs both on and off the trail. Authentic accommodation in the lighthouse keepers cottages at Green Cape was comfortable and added to the rustic charm of this rejuvenating sojourn in nature. Whales in the sea, wombats, wallabies and wildflowers in the bush and amazing sunsets in the sky. What's not to love?

Stunning Tasmanian 3 Capes 4 day Trek December 2021. The views were amazing and rewarding at the end of the daily trek. Tasmania is always stunning and offers so much diversity. The 3 Capes trek allowed us to access an area that was previously difficult for us to plan and undertake and also incorporated a boat trip around the Peninsula to finish the Great 4 days.

GREAT GUIDED WALKS Very well-organized walking trip in the Flinders Ranges with great knowledgeable and hard-working guides. Some of the walks were potentially challenging given my age (76) but the guides worked hard at making sure we all had a good experience and encouraged us all to achieve our goals.

Fabulous 5 days in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges with Park Trek This tour ticked all the boxes! It was extremely well-organised. Our guides were knowledgeable, friendly, amusing, a terrific team and excellent drivers! They worked very hard to ensure we all had a terrific experience. The food and accommodation was high quality. The walks were challenging but doable by all, with helping hands from the guides where appropriate. They afforded excellent views of the stunning landscape. I'd have no hesitation in recommending Park Trek tours to friends and family and would happily use them again.

Wonderful walks in the Flinders Ranges The landscape was amazing! the walks were challenging but do-able. The guides (Peter and Graham) made the whole experience thoroughly enjoyable. I would highly recommend this trip as a way of seeing a remote and beautiful area.

I recently did the Parktrek Tarkine Wilderness Walk with my daughter and can’t recommend it highly enough. The trek was absolutely amazing and there is nothing I would change.
Our guides Sarah and Emma were brilliant. They were knowledgeable and patient, catering for the groups’ varying abilities and interests. The food and accommodation were great and the walks selected were incredible! Each day different with adjustments to our itinerary to accommodate the weather. I loved every minute of it!

The walk and the Park Trek significantly exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The scenery, food and accommodation as well as the two guides Grahame and Peter were excellent and the organisation was first class. I highly recommend this for anyone thinking about it.

Park Trek Three Capes Track is one of the best! For walkers and hikers, this is one of the best trips you can do in Tasmania. The scenery is utterly amazing and the variety of terrains is very diverse. Park Trek is so great, their communication pre-trip is helpful but not over the top, the guides are always really prepared and knowledgable and also just lovely people. The standard of accommodation and food is very good (and lots of it!) and for someone like me who doesn't camp, that matters. I wouldn't hesitate to do another trip with them, this was my third!

We had an outstanding experience with guides Matt and Alex from Park Trek. From the moment of pick up to drop off the service was truly first-class and their easy going nature and positive can do attitude made our four days effortless and enjoyable. Brilliant Bay of Fires Andi and Talia were such wonderful guides. The scenery and historical sites were breathtaking. Lived the trip. Was able to completely decompress within 2 days. The walks were reasonably challenging but very doable as there is plenty of opportunity to stop along the way for photos or information from our wonderful guides about the history/landscape/flora/fauna. We travelled as a group of 3 couples and had the most fabulous time and can’t wait for our next adventure!

What a wonderful experience it was hiking Snowy Mountains with Park Trek! Our guides Graham and Lorinda did a great job taking us to the most beautiful places. They were looking after us exceptionally well in between the hikes too, making sure we ate well and had a good time in general. I highly recommend Park Trek Walking Holidays!

Matt was an awesome guide and delivered on the promise of seeing a white wallaby despite our scepticism. He was very knowledgeable and a good cook. Very patient with all of us.

Just finished the 5 day Flinders Ranges Walk with Peter & Kelly, who were full of knowledge. We were well looked after, had plenty of nutritious & healthy food, comfortable accommodation & time for photos.

Spectacular scenery walking the Heysen Trail with views of the Elder Range, then walking into Wilpena Pound, stopping at Hills Homestead and onto Wilpena Pound Information Centre.

Walking Ikara Flinders Ranges with Parktrek walking yours Landscape and views were sensational. Grading of walks was true. Second morning was the hardest with steep section up and down but rest of days were more rocky rather than steep with plenty of time allowed. Guides were knowledgeable of region, history, fauna and flora. Also friendly, caring, helpful and patient. Food was fresh, plentiful, tasty and healthy. Accommodation could be upgraded. Queen size room in unit was too small for bed and gear. Bathroom which could be shared by for up to 6 walkers had toilet in it which was awkward especially trying to get out early in mornings. Plenty of other options on-site which could be offered as an upgrade. Rating would be 5 except for having to share the small unit.

Goldfields Track: So Much Variety - A Walk With The Lot! The Goldfields Track Walk around the Daylesford area was outstanding! I loved every moment of the 4 days with 5 very friendly women plus our amazing guides Bianca and Lorinda. We walked on a wide variety of tracks, each with its own highlights, though being a history lover, I found the Eureka Reef Walk particularly inspiring. I was able to complete all walks, but the option to shorten or omit sections was available at all times.
Our guides provided a wealth of information on various topics throughout the 4 days and I learnt a lot, even about things that I never thought would interest me eg fungi. The scenery was varied with opportunities for many photos of breath-taking views. There were several cultural experiences (bakery & chocolaterie excursions, visits to 'The Convent' and the Hepburn Bathhouse) included and one 2 hour block of choose-your-own-adventure. Many chose to relax in different ways at our accommodation but I loved doing the Heritage Walk around the Daylesford township, even though I ran out of time to complete it.
Both the accommodation (even without using the outside area which would be amazing in warmer months) and meals (nutritious, delicious and a wide range to choose from) were excellent. I was sorry when the 4th day ended. I certainly intend returning to the area (all new to me prior to this trip) on my own to complete the Daylesford Heritage Walk, view some of the other things the town and those nearby have to offer and enjoy some of the tracks we didn't cover on this trip. I would recommend this Walk to anyone with a love of being outdoors to enjoy healthy recreation and a reasonable level of fitness (easier than many walks I have been on). Gaining new knowledge is an added bonus.
