A fulfilling day in the Blue Mountains My wife and I had a great day in the Blue Mountains with Scott as our host. He took us to areas that a larger tour wouldn't have gone to. His knowledge of the area and Sydney in general was great. I would highly recommend Scott for a great time

Great Sydney Private Tour My son and I were in Sydney for a father-son trip. We had a awesome your with a local perspective with Scott. I had noted that we wanted to see art and culture of Sydney. My son and I already did the Bridge Climb, Art Gallery of NSW and Opera House visits on our own. We felt that Scott filled in everything else. Saw local art galleries, cultural stops and was able to get around to different beaches, universities and other sites. Thought it was a great customized tour that just can't be done on our own. Would recommend for anyone visiting Sydney. I'm definitely looking forward to returning with other family members and doing it again.

Sydney Private Tour Done Right Was a brilliant experience learning about the history of Australia and Sydney from Scott! Even though the weather was against us, we spent the day driving around the city to absorb the vibe of places such as the Rocks and Bondi beach. Trusted guide to Blue Mountains Scott was a tremendous guide -- friendly, informative, and engaging. The Land Rover was comfortable and clean, and he arrived at our hotel in plenty of time to pick up the five of us and head to the Blue Mountains in time for our abseiling reservation. The nicest surprise was that he brought his camera along and shot photos of me and my sons abseiling (and he promised to send them to me!). After abseiling he made a great recommendation for meat pies in Katoomba. Later he passed us on to his colleague Charlie, who was a gracious host to us even though we were starting to feel the effects of jet lag. He took us to the valley floor and we saw dozens of kangaroos, then he drove us all back to Sydney. Would highly recommend Your Sydney Guide, and the Blue Mountains make for a great day trip from Sydney.

Tried to book Scott for a day tour around Sydney, but we did with very short notice and it was Christmas - so Scott was excused to to go and celebrate with his family. One of the most experienced we could ever hope for, and she was a ton of knowledge and just a bubbly and fun person to be with. We did two tours with Scott from your sydneyguide.com. both the Royal National Park tour and the Blue Mountains hiking tour were fantastic. Before The Blue Mountains hiking tour we stopped at featherdale zoo. the zoo was great because Scott got us there before the big buses and therefore we could get close to the animals quite easily. The Blue Mountains hike was among the most beautiful we have ever done. we could not have been happier with our two tours.

Great day in the Blue Mountains Had a fantastic day in the Blue Mountains. The tour guide, Charlie, was a font of local knowledge and was very flexible with the agenda and schedule for the day. He listened to what my wife and I wanted to get out of the day and adjusted the schedule and location’s visited accordingly. The views we saw were amazing. Saw lots of local wildlife, loads of roos which pleased my wife.

Through out the day Charlie was very engaging and shared lots of historical facts as well as current local knowledge. We ended the trip with a ferry ride into Sydney harbour and circular quay.

Would highly recommended this trip, well worth the money.

Epic day trip with Charlie to the Blue Mountains We had an absolutely epic day trip with Charlie. Charlie is easy-going, knowledgeable, and adventurous. He is also funny and talkative. He understood what we wanted to accomplish and tailored our day trip accordingly. He also blended in his recommendations, based on his extensive knowledge of the Blue Mountains.

Down in the Blue Mountains To appreciate the Blue Mountains, if possible get off the rim and go down into them, the slot canyons. We wouldn’t have known this, hiked where we did w/o Charlie from Get Your Guide. It was a great immersive day rather than seen at a remove. He also added color by adding tidbits about geology, early exploration, flora and fauna. Genial, caring guide and we would happily follow his lead again.

Fantastic day in the Blue Mountains!! Wow, this was such a special day trip from Sydney! Charlie took us all through the Blue Mountains and into the Megalong Valley. Being on a private tour, Charlie tailored the day to what we wanted to see. We felt like we were the only people in the blue mountains that day. He took us so many places that tourists/buses don’t go to. The only time we saw other tourists was at sunset when we viewed the 3 sisters and even that was less crowded than usual. He went above and beyond to find wild kangaroos for us to see and lunch at the tea rooms was phenomenal. He recommended we take the ferry back into Circular Quay and I’m so glad we did - it was a great way to end a beautiful day.

Fantastic day trip to the Blue Mountains and Dryridge Winery with Scott. Scott knew the best places to go to avoid the large bus crowds, and was highly knowledgeable sharing numerous historical and fun facts about the area. Nothing felt rushed. The lunch stop at The Tearooms was delicious; Dryridge winery was relaxing with sweeping panoramas of the vineyard and the mountains. Friendly folks all around! I upgraded to the Land Rover Discovery and did the return to Circular Quay via ferry which both were delightful. We scoped out some kangaroos in the wild, along with a couple stunning waterfalls throughout the day. I highly recommend Your Sydney Guide for a private and fully customizable itinerary. 10/10!

An Epic Day of Touring Sydney & Surrounds with Charlie! Charlie is a professional,highly informative, friendly and expert guide!
All pre-tour planning and email conversations were timely, thorough and satisfying!

Upon arrival via the Celebrity Edge .our tenders delivered us to the Opera House Wharf much later than scheduled, and Charlie was there waiting at the turn- around behind Sydney Opera House welcoming us to the city in his very luxurious Range Rover!

Our day of Discover Sydney began with a bouquet of greetings, smiles and excited anticipation!
We headed right into The Royal Botanic Gardens where Charlie began sharing with us the history of Sydney .he sprinkled his history lessons with information about the local flora and fauna ..Sitting on Mrs. Macquarie's chair, being amazed at the Merton Bay Figs and the gorgeous and raucous birdlife!!!!! We were enthralled with Charlie's breadth of knowledge and his calm, humorous and tranquil comportment.

As we drove from place to place, Charles answered our queries about Sydney, Sydney's history, government past & present and drew our attention to the historic architecture and the interesting animal life we passed along the way .we trailed after a Kookabura and watched as it pulled worms from the ground and another Kookabura in a tree "beating a mouse to tenderize it" before eating!!!!!! We were regaled by cockatoos, black swans, ibis, and australian magpies to name but a few!!!

Our travels took us to and thru The Rocks, Darlinghurst, Moore Park, Woollahra, and to Centennial Park! At Centennial Park Charles brought us on a walk to a huge forest area that was home to thousands of Flying Foxes hanging from trees high up in the canopies! It was magical!!!

Then on thru Waverly Park, Rose Bay, Vaucluse and to the famous Bondi Beach!!!! Charles gave us time to walk in every location, take pictures, and enjoy the exquisite views .we enjoyed a lovely coffee at one of his favorite cafes .and throughout our day together Charles was brilliant companion, teacher, guide and friend.

We could not have been happier with our tour with Charles. Every minute was packed with details and history of the beauty of Sydney and Surrounds we can surely say that Charles expertly guided us into falling in love with Sydney. Thank You Charles!!!!!

Was it fate or luck? It was the Guide! Mister Charlie, hands down, made everything more interesting and then added some more! Excellent Tour Guide Charlie was an excellent guide. Super knowledgeable about the Blue Mountains and Sydney. The vehicle was very nice and clean. Took us on an incredible hike to see the waterfalls and even though the weather was rainy, he still made the trip very interesting. Took us to a special hotel where we had a quick bite to eat and then dropped us off at the ferry for our ride back to the hotel. This was on New Years Eve and everything was extremely busy. We felt blessed to have a tour guide on New Years Eve. We would definitely use this tour company again in the future and ask for Charlie.

Blue Mountains with Scenic World is a must do We took the all-day private tour of the Blue Mountains with the Scenic World add-on with Scott last month, and it was a fantastic day, with money well spent. Scott took my parents, my girlfriend and I to the blue mountains for a day in his Land Rover. It was a wonderful excursion, we loved it. Scott was very informative, we had great conversation and the car was very comfortable. He was a great driver, and he took us to some well known places, as well as some more out of the way locations which were off the beaten track, including a great spot for lunch at a farm in a valley. He was very sensitive to our desires and he personalised the trip en route to our interests. We had a fantastic time and we felt very well taken care of, and would recommend him to anyone.

True experience of the Blue Mountains and surrounding area with Charles We had an amazing tour with Charles driving to the Blue Mountains. He took us to spots that were away from the more typical spots for amazing views, drove us around the smaller towns, and had great stories to tell. We couldn’t have asked for a better time and sense of the beauty around us. He even dropped us off at the Olympic Ferry terminal at end of tour so we could take the ferry home in early evening - coming back into Sydney Harbor with the night lights was beautiful. Wonderful I booked fairly last minute and everything was smooth sailing. Scott contacted me the night before to confirm pick up time and see if I had any pressing questions or requests.
The vehicle for the day was very comfortable and the air con was much needed since it was extremely hot out. The provided water certainly came in handy.
Scott certainly has eagle eyes, pointing out wildlife and even pulling over so we could watch a whale breaching while on the way to one of the parks. The views are stunning.
With having gone on a Monday many businesses are closed but it never felt like I was missing out on anything. Lunch was delicious and the wines were great.
No part of the drive was boring or uncomfortable. Scott is fun to chat with and knows a lot about the history of the area. More than enough stops if you need the toilet as well if that's something you need to think about.
If I am back in Sydney, I will certainly be looking up another tour.

Exceptional one-of-a-kind experience Matt provided an exceptional one-of-a-kind experience! We are a family of four with a 17 yo and an 8 yo so it is usually pretty difficult to have a full-day that they both enjoy - but Matt delivered! We learned so much about the land, we had fun interacting with native animals, and we enjoyed sharing music on the drive home! Matt was fun and knowledgeable and took us off the beaten track to see a side of Australia we wouldn’t have otherwise encountered. Couldn’t rate this experience highly enough!

Port Stephens and sand dunes After an excellent time with Scott last year (2022), we could not help and once again went with Scott on this tour. It was a long 2.5hrs ride out of Sydney city proper. We stopped for breakfast mid-point and continued our journey. The first thing we did when we arrived at Port Stephens was the quad bike ride on the sand dunes. What a time we senior folks (all of us in our 60s!) had. The ride was well managed and we had 4 guides tagging along the group of 6 of us. Joy overcame fear with a slight nudge from the guides and we rode the dunes in style! We also saw the spouts of a few whales go by in the distance.
Lunch was at a place called Little Beach Boathouse by the seaside at Nelson's Bay. The weather was perfect and we saw a dolphin or two go by. Service at this restaurant was excellent.
Thanks once again, Scott for never letting us down. Trips with you is money's worth.

Great time at Southern Highlands with Scott Great time at the Southern Highlands. As it was winter, it was cooler by 2 or 3 degrees with the temp at the city. The blast of wind greeted us at Bald's Hill. Oh!, what a view. We had breakfast at Audley Dance Hall at the Royal National Park. It was such a pleasant atmosphere. We also had lunch at Bendooley Estate and it was another memorable experience.
We went with Scott when we were at Sydney last year (2022) and it was a no-brainer going again with him on this tour as well as the one to Port Stephens. Thanks, Scott for being a great and friendly guide. The 6 of us always enjoyed our comfortable ride in your Land Rover Discovery. We would never have seen or enjoyed the food at the places you took us to.

Great day in Sydney We had a great day on our tour of Sydney. Scott showed us great views from the harbor bridge, and we had a spectacular lunch at the Fish market. This tour was a great way to learn about the history of the city while seeing all of the sights. we particularly like that the tour was tailored to what we wanted to learn about. Your Sydney Guide, Scott went above and beyond what you would expect from a tour operator. We had the brides family coming to Sydney from Japan for the wedding and they had a free day in-between before the wedding, when we were planning to take them around Sydney foolish of us to think we will have the free time with the wedding in the next couple of days. I called Scott just the day before the tour at 7.30 AM for an Sydney half a day tour, and at the same time busy with wedding work. It was late in the evening before I could get back to Scott to confirm the booking Scott was very accommodative and understanding of the situation and arranged LLOYD MILLETT to take the brides family around Sydney, I also requested Scott to have an extra hour for the tour as there was an event that the brides family had to attend later in the evening after tour and did not want the brides family unattended after their scheduled tour. Scott not only accepted to have the extra hour extended tour but also did not charge anything extra. It was a very delicate and sensitive situation that Scott helped us to overcome where the Brides family had a wonderful time visiting Sydney and also complemented Lloyd that he was the best driver. We were supposed to take the brides family around Sydney, however Scott stepped up as our family and made the brides family visit to Sydney a memorable one. Scott is the best who goes above and beyond of what you would expect from an tour operator it was not just customer service at its best we felt it was a family member who understood the situation and took over the responsibility on our behalf and made things happen. Your Sydney Guide was one of the best finds for us in Sydney!! Our family of four had been looking for top-quality tours in Sydney, and we booked through Scott. Scott went out of his way to make the booking process smooth, as we had some confusion about international payments. We took two tours - the one to the Blue Mountains and the Cricket lover's tour. The cricket lover's tour - which is found on their website - was the highlight for us on our Australia trip. It included a private tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground - just us and Peter - and the Bradman Museum at Bowral. While the locations themselves are amazing, Peter who accompanied us is a genuine cricket fan and knows both the sport and the locations in detail - this passion really made a difference for us. He also went the extra mile in covering the history of Sydney city itself, and found an amazing lunch spot with vegetarian options for us! The Blue Mountains tour itself was very personalized and very detailed - we really felt they knew the blue mountains in very high detail. The effort put stood out for us - be it in spotting wild Kangaroos, going to an out-of-mainstream lunch spot, or helping us out with vegetarian food. Aside from covering the well-known attractions like the three sisters, we actually saw 26 wild Kangaroos and one wild Wallabee, not to mention many indigenous birds, on this tour!! Great Experience for a family Your Sydney Guide was one of the best finds for us in Sydney!! Our family of four had been looking for top-quality tours in Sydney, and we booked through Scott. Scott went out of his way to make the booking process smooth, as we had some confusion about international payments. We took two tours - the one to the Blue Mountains and the Cricket lover's tour.

The cricket lover's tour - which is found on their website - was the highlight for us on our Australia trip. It included a private tour of the Sydney Cricket Ground - just us and Peter - and the Bradman Museum at Bowral. Fantastic tour for families My family and I decided to take a break from the city and get away to check out the Blue Mountains. We decided to hire Your Sydney Guide because they included a stop at a winery. I was so glad I did. Scott, our guide was absolutely incredible. He was flexible and accommodating. He was attentive to our interests and tailored our tour based on activities we enjoyed.

The highlight of our tour was hiking Empress Falls. This is a moderate hike with steep stairs. The entire hike was pretty much stairs. We didn’t mind it because at every turn was an incredible breathtaking view. This may not be the hike for you if you’re not in good shape. The hike back to the top would not be fun if you’re not somewhat fit.

Scott was delightful! My teenage kids said he was the best tour guide we’ve ever had and we’ve gone to countless tours in different cities and countries. Touring with Scott was more like a local friend showing you around as opposed to a tour guide you just hired. I guarantee you will not regret booking with Scott. I would definitely recommend him for anyone heading to Sydney.
