I really enjoyed my flight experience in the simulator. Very realistic.
The young bloke who did our session was fantastic. Basic instructions to get flying faster.

The cockpit is exactly what you would find in the FA-18.

Probably best to book for an hour as you'll enjoy it so much you'll be wanting more.

We will definitely be back.

Also worth noting they have a simulator and real plane flight deals worth checking out.

Paul who runs the show is very easy to deal with and has great communication.

Probably be an idea to put the sign a bit further out it is a bit of a weird driveway.

I went here for a birthday present, spent an hour in the hornet. Cockpit was gorgeous and Jordan the flight instructor was so nice and was an awesome instructor. Told me what to do the whole time, was very encouraging and is all around a funny and nice guy. Huge reccomend from me, great experience!

Took my brother yesterday, he really enjoyed it, the instructor was friendly and explained the instructions clearly. Would definitely recommend doing if you do or don't like flying as it looked fun.

Great experience! Well worth it if you're keen to experience flying an FA 18 fighter. Obviously don't feel the Gs in the simulator, but it was really immersive.

Really great experience and an hour flew past so quickly (pun intended). I went with my partner but only I flew the sim. We had Ross who did an awesome job explaining the complexity of the simulator and gave clear and easy to follow instructions to help me get the most from the experience. He even did a great job to involve my partner who watched from the radar seat behind me. We did a brief bit of training and exercises before running a scenario where we dropped bombs and shot down an enemy fighter. They even wove a few Top Gun type manoeuvring scenarios in before we landed back at base. All in all a great experience and I couldn’t more highly recommend.

Great instructed experience My 14 yr old daughter did this today. The instructor was great and guided her through the whole experience. Inspired her to continue her air cadet training.

Awesome experience had by my 11 year old My son (11 years) did the super hornet simulator experience. He loved it. The instructor was really good and found ways to include my younger son as he was a spectator. My 11 year old did a commercial simulator in another place previously but loved this experience for the thrill of dropping bombs etc. Communication was spot on and timing was excellent. I would highly rate this experience.

Awesome My wife got this for my birthday and completed a 60 minute mission. It was incredible. Just what I envisaged the real thing would be like after watching loads of footage online (especially of the F/A 18 fly during riverfire). If you can find that video on youtube I would recommend it as this also helped me understand the manouvers, turns etc and imerse myself into the environment. Half way in I forgot I was in a sumulator as I was so focussed on meeting the mission objectives.

Highgly recommend.

A must do experience Today I had the amazing experience of flying the F/A 18 Super Hornet Flight Simulator at Caboolture. Ross the instructor put me at ease and his instructions were awesome. The time goes so quickly when you are having fun and I can recommend booking the 1hr session as opposed to the 1/2 hr session. I could easily have been in there for another hour. I definitely will be doing this again. Thank you Ross

Awesome experience We purchased the Fighter Jet Simulator (60 minutes) as a 16th birthday gift for our grandson. Can’t thank you enough for your patience with him last Saturday. Our grandson is on the autism spectrum) I think we forgot to mention that. He usually doesn’t interact with people very much but in this case with Ross he was very enthusiastic and listened quite intently (we were pleasantly surprised). I think our grandson loved the experience so much that we will happily purchase another flight for him in the very near future! I might add we really enjoyed the passenger experience too!

Highway to the Simulator Zone Myself and my 12-year old son visited for a 30-min F18 simulator session. The instructor (Ross) was excellent and patiently took us through the controls and the basics of flight maneuvers. This takes the bulk of the 30-min flight time though, and the air combat part of the experience was just shooting down one bogey from a distance with a sidewinder missile. Then its time to find the airport and land your 95 million dollar simulated aircraft safely. My son had some trouble lining up the runway but Ross was incredibly patient and helped him get onto the ground. Learning the characteristics and controls of the Super Hornet was great fun on its own, but maybe a bit more "combat" exposure would really complement the overall experience so if you can afford the 60 minutes session, it would be definitely worth it. My son loved it, and we're going back for another flight soon.

First Class Operation I attended Air Combat Centre on May 1 with my two grandchildren aged 11 and 14. After a full 1 hour session both children gave me a big hug and said how much they enjoyed their present. My own experience was that it was very well organized and very creative. I enjoyed being a spectator.

Flying a F-18 Hornet We absolutely loved this experience. Our guide was very patient and fun to work with. We took off from Amberley Airforce Base in F-18 Hornet fighters, and in no time were performing aerobatic manoeuvres such as triple rolls, full loops, stall and pirouettes. Next we learned to quickly move to evade enemy aircraft. We blew a baddie out of the sky and bombed an airfield. On our way back to base we flew past Mt.Warning at 500ft to stay below the radar. I successfully landed (albeit veering off runway for a tick), and my husband got to abort his landing and try again. We were buzzing when we finished. Highly recommended activity!!

F/A18 E Super Hornet Fantastic. Ross was a great instructor guiding me all the way through. The session started with pre flight notes and video by e-mail. On arrival we had another pre flight brief by Ross who explained the controls in detail. Once in the simulator it was so realistic that I soon forgot it was a simulator. It felt like I was flying and in full control of the aircraft, the scenery below as realistic which just added to the experience. I flew to Evans head for a bombing mission ( Evans head was a bombing range for the RAAF F111.) We bombed the airstrip rendering it useless and shot down an enemy fighter. The hour was full of turns, rolls and evasion maneuvers . Again thanks Ross for making the experience so realistic. I will do it again one day

Absolutely amazing place to live out the dream of being a fighter pilot. Rhino is an amazing flight instructor and makes you feel like a fighter pilot from the moment you walk in the door. The interaction with the aircraft is mind blowing its definitely light years away from dcs. Every time I fly the experience is more and more intesnse and challenging and you loose yourself during the flight.. cant wait to go back
