Great local supermarket with a really good range. Store is clean, well organised, and the quality of fresh food is solid. Can be a bit busy at peak times, but overall a reliable place to shop.

This is a supermarket where you go for an experience! Welcomed by piano music it is just such a joy to browse the extensive fruit & veg selection. The deli is a real treat with an abundance of local produce. The bakery selection is great as well. The fresh meat and fish are the best in town. Sit down with a glass of bubbles and a fish platter, I can't be happier. We even take interstate friends here to show off what we have in ADL!

This place is amazing! There is a huge variety of organic food, everything is well organized, and you can find Asian, Brazilian, and Colombian products. They also have a great selection of meats and many other items. Everything is always very fresh.

Saturday afternoon trip with an interstate friend who was impressed with the displays of fresh foods, cafe options and Christmas gifts. If you want goodies for home catering or a cake for a special event this is the shop. Their take home meals and the bakery items are made on site.

Once voted the best supermarket in the southern hemisphere. Its very good. Especially when they fire up with a piano player.
The cheese selection is possibly the best in Australia. Huge selection. Also great baked goods. Fresh food. The rest of the supermarket is like any other. Except the coffee shop at the back, the extra shop the front. And I suppose the extra range of stuff you cant get at wollies and coles. So yeah, its pretty damn good.

Highly recommended supermarket experience in Adelaide. We came just for the pastries & seriously was blown away. You can even request to eat in. Tip: get the award winning plain croissant & eat it fresh.

Really nice place. A lot of options, but the boy at the deli was very nice. He gave me everything I need. He gave me 250 gram but I only ordered 249grams, and I'm very keen about my portion so this upset a little bit. Overall, everything was wonderful, definitely coming back, but make sure that my portion is ON POINT.

I would like to take a moment to recognise the exceptional service I received from Chris at Foodland Pasadena.

I visited the seafood section at approximately 7:50 PM on August 26, 2025, to purchase some salmon. By that time, most of the fish had already been packed away in the freezer, and Chris was busy cleaning the counter. When I asked if salmon was still available, he responded with a warm smile and said, “Yes, we do have – how much would you like?”

I requested 1.5kg of salmon and asked whether it was skin-on or off. Chris explained it was skin-on but immediately offered—without hesitation—to skin it off for me, cheerfully adding that it was no trouble at all. When I asked why the display was already packed down, he kindly explained that the department closes at 8 PM, so they begin cleaning and packing a little earlier to ensure everything is finished on time.

Despite being at the end of his shift and in the middle of closing duties, Chris served me with patience, positivity, and genuine customer care. When I thanked him, he smiled again and said, “Happy to do anything for the customer.” That kind of attitude is rare these days and truly stood out to me.

I want to sincerely thank Chris for going above and beyond—his professionalism, friendliness, and willingness to help left a very positive impression. Experiences like this make a huge difference and are no doubt a key part of Pasadena Foodland’s success. Chris is certainly an asset to your team, Mr. Nick.

Oh my goodness, Pasadena Foodland isn't just a grocery store, it's a genuine foodie destination! Walking in is an experience – the produce section is a work of art with the most vibrant, fresh fruits and vegetables I've ever seen. I could spend ages just looking at everything. The real magic, though, is the deli and ready-made food section. It's absolutely incredible.

As soon as you enter the glass lift from the carpark you realize why this store is known as one of the best supermarkets in the World . . WOW.

Absolutely loved this supermarket. I am from Melbourne but I have a house in Adelaide and this supermarket is very close to my Adl house ! I wish I had smth like this in Melbourne! What a classy supermarket that I just discovered and can’t stop thinking about it now that I’m back in Melbourne! I love that doesn’t have self checkout! It’s so high class and human but prices are same as Cole’s and Woolworths! Can’t wait to return .

This place is dangerous ( in a good way though) we had only got to the spice area & it was awesome! So many yummy products, beautifully presented & so much quality. Had a coffee & cheesecake at the café. Seafood selection was huge along with the butcher, vegetables & the cheese selection was sensational. The lady who served us was so helpful and allowed for a few tastings.
Had an awesome time here & to finish it off our cashier ( Miah) was really friendly. Hopefully we can get back sometime 🙏🙏❤️❤️

Shopping list in one hand and a knife and fork in the other - lunch at Pasadena Foodland is a fantastic experience - nice tables and chairs - great choice of food and wine with a very reasonable bill. After your delicious main, pick out an enticing sweet treat from the one of the many counters near the bread section.

This is the most incredible grocery store I have ever been to! It's seriously amazing, like shopping in a five star department store but for breakfast cereal and tinned tomatoes! It's got tasting benches and a cafe inside, bakery, a huge selection of cheeses, a butcher with superb cuts of meat... it has to be seen to be believed!

Where else can you eat at a restaurant with top quality food and staff with a pianist or musicians playing while in the middle of a supermarket. I absolutely love Pasadena Foodland. So much variety across the store.

Disappointing undercooked chicken I can't give this dining a good review. Some of my chicken with the Pad Thai noodles was undercooked and raw - very dangerous. I told the Maitre'd and he did everything to ignore our table. No apology - nothing. I didn't expect a discounted price but an apology and acknowledgement would've been nice.

Mr Nick’s - or Mr No, we can’t! We came here to have breakfast and shop. Best to eat first so, at 11.05 we tried to order breakfast here. Too late, no breakfasts after 11.00am. So, begrudgingly, we accepted the lunch menu. We chose seafood ( lobster brioche and oysters). No can do - the ‘seafood guy’ hasn’t arrived for work yet!! So, maybe we could have calamari on the brioche? No! What can they do? What’s on the menu only, no variations. Any solutions given we are pescatarian? No - I am new here, I need to obtain permission for everything. Can we order a bruschetta from the adjoining outlet? No! If we want that we have to sit elsewhere. What an amazing first experience- one that we will not be repeating. Plenty of other cafes nearby. Mr Nick’s? Mr ‘No we can’t’!!! Time to focus on customer service rather than intransigence and how not to identify a solution.

Lunch at Pasadena Foodland Absolutely fantastic great atmosphere staff are friendly and the service is always great. Good is so tasty and looks delicious.

New Food Tours with Lunch. I have just done the 90min food tour followed by the chefs lunch. An excellent experience and a great way to spend 4 plus hours and learn more about the produce. Tastings and some wine included in the tour followed by a 5 course lunch. Small tastes for each course and accompanied by wine and coffee/tea. The owners joined us for the lunch which was great. The tour was led by two very knowledgeable people who were also fun. Very enjoyable and highly recommended. The supermarket and its restaurants are next level and this takes it a step further.

Breakfast Lots of spots to chose from to sit for coffee, but difficulty to find one spot in the supermarket that catered for all breakfasts. Coffee great, seating although in a supermarket it was good service ok lacked enthusiasm.

A Delightful Experience Three of us came to celebrate a 90th Birthday with High Tea and Champagne. We were dubious about the setting being outside the Supermarket in the shopping arcade but the setting proved to be delightful surrounded by flowers and plants with a pianist nearby (unfortunately he finished when we sat down at 2pm). I have never seen so many sweet and savoury delicacies for only $30 ( $5 extra for champers). We took a lot home with us. White linen tablecloths and serviettes, good china, pleasant, efficient service. It makes a wonderful present !

High Tea on Mother’s Day was High Tea on Mother’s Day was a huge disappointment for the price. Service was really poor and the savoury food was not enjoyable. We had heard so many good things about their High Tea but it was very underwhelming. My wife has personal struggles on Mother’s Day and was so exited to be treated, only to be let down. Don’t get me wrong, we absolutely love Foodland Pasadena which makes it hard to give a bad review and I hope they take this seriously. Lots of people I know we’re waiting to hear about experience before booking and unfortunately I have had to say, don’t waste your money.

Scrumptious Never thought going to a supermarket would be a great experience but it is here. Besides the usual goods there are a number of specialty areas that were a delight. We sat down to a feed of magnificent oysters washdown with a glass of wine, right in the supermarket. And they were delicious. The grabbed a slab of pizza for the nights dinner. The different goods they gave in there is fantastic.
