DESCRIPTION

Return flight from Perth (Jandakot Airport) to Rottnest Island in your own private plane with pilot.  Departs Jandakot at various times through the day of your choosing and then departs Rottnest Island, also of your choosing. The return flight can be on the same day or on another day.

This booking is for our seven-seat Piper PA32 aircraft (pilot occupies one seat).

You will be given the option of extra flight time around Rottnest Island or over Perth City while on the way.  These are really good value as we are able to discount them.   They are around half the cost of the same flights booked by themselves.


WEIGHT LIMIT

This aircraft seats between 4 and 6 passengers, but please note that the sixth seat is a middle bench seat and only suitable for a child or small adult.  Two kids less than 30kg each can share a seat – call us.  Infants can travel with an adult – call us.  There is a strict legal limit of 460 kg total combined weight of passengers and luggage. If you are over this limit, you will need to book two separate aircraft.

There is only limited space for luggage – so no large suitcases please, nor are we able to carry surfboards, bikes or most strollers! Please also no dive tanks, camping stoves or other dangerous goods.
STAYING OVERNIGHT and LUGGAGE PICK-UP

Your accommodation will provide a luggage pickup from the Rottnest Airport PROVIDED YOU ADVISE THEM IN ADVANCE!
Please tell your accommodation that you are flying with Rottnest Air-Taxi and what time you are landing (Normally 15 minutes after your departure from Perth).  

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

PLEASE CHECK YOUR BOOKING SCHEDULE. We will not refund missed flights mistakenly booked incorrectly. PLEASE CHECK NOW! DEPARTURE TIME Please attend Jandakot Airport at least 20 MINUTES before your scheduled departure. ALLOW TIME FOR TRAFFIC WHEN DRIVING TO JANDAKOT AIRPORT. Late arrivals may be considered non refundable “no shows” or will incur delays and costs due to the need to service other bookings. Please attend Rottnest Airport at least 10 MINUTES before your scheduled departure. OUR ADDRESS Our location is 3 Baron Way, JANDAKOT AIRPORT. Limited parking only at our office. Public parking on Eagle Drive (200m south) – but busy weekdays. We recommend getting a lift, booking an uber or upgrading to our Chauffeur service. If our office is unattended when you arrive, please relax – your pilot will be with you shortly. ARRIVING AT ROTTNEST Your flight will arrive at Rottnest Island Airport. All entry fees for Rottnest Island are already included in your ticket price, so you do not need to pay any extra fees. Your hotel will pick you up from the airport if you tell them in advance what time you are arriving. Alternatively, there is a regular shuttle bus into town, or you can walk the 900 metres along the road. STAYING OVERNIGHT ON ROTTNEST Please tell your accommodation that you are flying with Rottnest Air-Taxi and what time you are landing (Normally 15 minutes after your departure from Perth). Rottnest Island Authority accommodation provide a luggage pickup from the airport PROVIDED YOU ADVISE THEM IN ADVANCE! Luggage labels available. LUGGAGE AND WEIGHT Individual item size limit Length + Depth + Height = 145cm. MAXIMUM LUGGAGE 45kg TOTAL IN THE AEROPLANE! Eskies, large suitcases, strollers and other large items may be impossible to load. Rather than a suitcase, pack two smaller soft bags instead. Dive tanks, e-scooters, camping stoves, surfboards, bicycles, or any dangerous goods cannot be carried. PASSENGERS AND WEIGHT Maximum weight INCLUDING luggage 300kg. Weight limits are strict legal limits and cannot be exceeded. Your group may be weighed on arrival at the airport, and if you are over the limit you will need to pay for an extra flight. Please advise Rottnest Air-Taxi in advance if any individual passengers exceed 120kg in weight. SINCE WE WILL ALREADY BE AIRBORNE: Consider adding on a DISCOUNT FLIGHT over Perth City or around Rottnest Island. THESE REALLY ARE EXCELLENT VALUE!
