Tour Details:
Upon arrival you will be greeted by your tour guide and presented with a bike that best suits you. Our bikes range from large frames to extra small frames for mountain bikes and the option for comfortable big seated townies is also available. You will provided with a helmet and brief demonstration on how to use the bike and its gears. Once everyone is comfortable and confident with their bikes the tour will begin!

First stop is the old Quarantine Station – A site with buildings dating back to the mid-19th Century. You’ll then cruise along Coles Track towards Cattle Jetty and Observatory Point.

Next you’ll begin the ride up to the point, stopping at a few historical forts along the way including Cheviot Hill the mysterious beach where  Prime Minister Harold Holt vanished in 1967.

Once at Fort Nepean, located at the furthest point of the Mornington Peninsula. You’ll be able to hop off your bikes and explore the vast tunnels of the fortress that were used during the first and second World Wars. Not to mention the breathtaking lookout points where Bass Strait meets Port Phillip Bay. Fort Nepean helped make Melbourne, Australia’s most well-defended city.

Wildlife is also a pleasant highlight of the National Park – lucky cyclists may spot a pod of Burrunan Dolphins frolicking in the water; Australian Fur Seals playing out on rock formations, Echidnas and Blue Tongue lizards can be spotted along Coles Track and Rosellas giving the sky a dash of colour around the Quarantine station.
