Fantastic Fantastic! Gert and Audrey had great tips for getting the most out of our visit. Thank you.

Best tour guide Our tour guide Steve was the life of the party. He was so knowledgeable and kind. He had the best sense of humour and made that whole experience worth it. Overall the zoo was great my family have never been and we live in Australia.

Croc tours was wonderful! Croc tours made our day so easy. Steve was fantastic with lots of local information and tips for visiting Australia Zoo. The zoo is spotless. The staff are professional and friendly. We had a mild weather day and it was not too busy.

Fun journey to visit one of world's best kept zoos The bus ride to Australia Zoo was fun. Our driver from the tour operator Steve made the 1.5 hour drive felt like 15 mins with his great sense of humor and chatter. Asxwe arrived a little earlier, we hot to see the wildlife animal hospital. Upon arriving at the zoo, we followed Steve's personalized route for touring the zoo. This ensured we got to see all the animals, feed the kangaroos and occupied good seats for the crocodile show. The reptile house had some of the most venomous snakes in the world and these are great for kids to see and learn. It's not my first time to the zoo but I felt I got the most out this time booking a tour with Croc tours. As always, the zoo is very well maintained and the animals are absolutely beautiful. I will be back again when I visit Down Under.

Well run Informative pleasant helpful

Great Day Trip So happy we booked this trip, the best way to get to the zoo. Comfortable trip there and back with great commentary on the way, driver was awesome. Tips for seeing the zoo were great and we got around everything we wanted to see in the time we had. Would highly recommend this trip

WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW WOW, just an all round amazing day and so much better than the zoos in the UK. Only annoying part was loads of people asking it the family were there.

Great Day at Australia zoo Thoroughly enjoyed our Day at Australia zoo, and our driver, Steve, was both entertaining and informative.

All Good So easy! Driver was professional and shared information along the drive. Provided good information once at the zoo and all we had to do was follow our leader! Communication was good and the schedule was followed. All good!

Great Day Trip to the zoo. The transportation to and from the Australia zoo was great. Comfortable bus, excellent driver. They gave some tidbits about Brisbane and the areas we drive through but not constantly on the speaker. The Zoo was a great time. I thought it might be over run with people given it was Easter weekend however the layout of the zoo is fantastic. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting Brisbane who is looking forward to a nice day trip.

Great family trip Great experience booking through TripAdvisor. Croc tours was great, Bruce, our driver was very knowledgeable and gave history lessons and stories of the local landscape and legends along the trip to the zoo and back. Took a slight detour on the return to allow a full view of the glass mountains. Highly recommend Croc Tours.

Well worth a visit! What a fantastic day! It’s always been a bucket list dream of mine to visit the zoo when visiting here and it definitely didn’t disappoint!

I had a lovely South African husband and wife team guide us on our journey to the zoo. Told us facts about the glass mountains and kept us thoroughly entertained with good humour. The transfer coach was promptly on time and we visited the animal hospital before the zoo opened and saw a little joey having a nap.
The habitats for the animals were spacious and clean. They all seemed very happy.
I had to do the typical touristy thing and have an encounter with a koala. The croc show was awesome! Well worth every penny. Thank you ☺️

Went to Australian Zoo Great driver to zoo and great experience at zoo.

Awesome Zoo and experience! An outstanding zoo experience! Our driver was courteous and prompt and got us to the Australia zoo just as they were opening. I had a lovely day at the zoo with plenty of time to see almost all the exhibits and shows. The crocodile show is not to be missed! Being at the zoo brought back fond memories of watching Steve Irwin, "The Crocodile Hunter" on TV with my son back in the 1990s. It's so sad about Steve's untimely death, but wonderful to see his legacy of conservation being so wonderfully implemented and successful!

What Do You Think Is Fair? We boarded the bus at 9:30 a.m. For what we were told was a one hour trip to the zoo. Due to an accident on the highway we did not arrive at the zoo until 12:37 p.m. We were able to see the main crocodile show but little else as we were asked to return to the bus early, a little before 3 p.m., due to traffic concerns on returning to the ship. Thus, rather than five hours at the zoo we had only 2 hours and 20 minutes. The accident was completely out of the control of the excursion staff of the ship. We asked the excursion staff for some form of consideration due to the short time at the zoo. We were told very politely and respectfully that no consideration could be offered. Do you feel we should have been offered some sort of compensation due to the lost time at the venue or is the ship blameless due to factors out of their control?

Enjoyed the trip to the zoo including the animal hospital visit. Enjoy the bus ride and the walk around the zoo including the animal hospital.
The croc show was the best part, though it was raining.

Australia Zoo day trip Excellent day out with knowledgeable driver. Great communication prior to the trip, met earlier to avoid the traffic, allowing a longer visit within the zoo.

Exotica. Ask lots of questions. Exotica booked a 17 day trip for me to Australia They have always handled all the details as they charged me $8700 for a solo trip with no group no leader no breakfasts no transfers. They blatantly left out that I would be all alone and fend for myself. 74 year old alone in Australia. They should have shown me some respect by informing me that I would be alone for the entire trip. They would not even respond to my emails. Be very careful Ask them for every detail. They won’t even recognize me now. They have blocked me now.

A really enjoyable day with friends and partner. Truly a zoo unlike others with very detailed and engaging demonstrations Huge variety and very interactive grounds workers to pass on additional information about the wildlife in Australia.

A beautiful place A beautiful location that is as much a botanical garden as a zoo. The animals have plenty of room to move around and appear well cared for. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Great day out – Bruce was brilliant Had a great experience on the Australia Zoo Day Trip from Brisbane. Bruce was a fantastic guide – friendly, full of good tips, and made the journey really easy.

The zoo itself was brilliant, though not quite as big as you might expect. Since there’s a shuttle running around, don’t waste too much time waiting for it if you’re able to walk – it’s very doable on foot.

Top tip: feed the kangaroos early in the morning they’ve zero interest by the afternoon! Also, bring your own lunch if you can, as the food options on-site are quite pricey and not the freshest.

Overall, a great day out - I just wish we’d had another hour or two to explore!

A great day out The whole experience at the zoo was fantastic. Very impressive and clearly caring for the animals. The arena show is a must see whilst there. So much to see across the whole of the zoo

I had a great day. 5 out of 5 and I have a great day and lots of fun. Crocodile show was great and seeing all the animals was great fun too and a lot of walking.

Such an easy way to get to the Zoo! This is a great way to get to the Zoo from Brisbane! I was able to get picked up right from my hotel (and they have several other convenient pickup locations sprinkled throughout the city). The couple driving us was lovely and made sure we were informed on how to make the best out of our Zoo day. There is plenty of time to see everything you want to before pickup time (just make sure to plan any animal encounters accordingly). I would totally recommend!

Best day trip to the zoo! Great day trip to the zoo! If you're looking for the easiest and stress free way of heading to the zoo then I definitely recommend this trip!

Amazing experience The driver who picked us up and dropped us off at the end of the day was amazing and super friendly. The zoo was amazing and all the staff were very helpful

Legendary Steve Irwin Zoo Picked up in central Brisbane by this nice South African couple, who entertained on the 1,5 hour drive. The park is a clear monument to the amazing Steve Irwin and his family. A lot of the place carry both his image and spirit. Worth a visit

Enjoyable and educational tour. We loved our tour. Everything went very well. We enjoyed Steve's commentary and valuable tips on how to walk around The Zoo and the times listed for the tiger and the Crocoseum show. Steve spent time doing his best to ensure everyone was happy. We appreciate his friendly manner and caring approach.

Good itinerary, Bad Transport We booked the trip with them last minute. The bus driver talked the whole way there (I didn't mind that - I found him interesting, though I could see some people not appreciating quite as much). He pointed out a couple of rock formations that were cool, though it would have been nice to pull over and get a picture of them. We then had a stop by the Veterinary hospital at the zoo which was brief but interesting. Once there, he shared tips for seeing the zoo and feeding the kangaroos and set us free for about 5.5 hours. To be clear, while the driver did give us tips and a map, he didn't guide us through the zoo. MOST of this "trip" is the transport with a couple of small bonus things. Again, this was fine for us, but it's important to understand you're not getting a guided tour of the zoo.

My only real complaint is the seats on the couch there. You spend probably 2-2.5 hours sitting in them and if you're tall, the seats are very uncomfortable because the legroom is terrible. Seriously, economy plain tickets get you more leg room. In fairness, this seems to be normal with all tours we've taken in Australia so it's normal. But should it be? If all the tour groups gave 3 inches more leg room, then that would become normal instead. So just because they all seem to do it is really no excuse in my opinion. The legroom and subsequent discomfort in the seats costs them a star.

Fantastic Day at Australia Zoo, Thanks to a Great Guide This was a great experience! I’m really glad I booked this tour. Our guide timed the drive perfectly to avoid traffic, which made the whole day much smoother. Before heading into the zoo, we stopped at the Australia Zoo Wildlife Hospital, where we saw vets treating an injured bird and bringing in a baby possum. It was a rare and touching experience to witness.

At the zoo, the guide gave us great tips on which shows to catch and the best route to see as many animals as possible in one day. I followed his advice and managed to see everything I wanted.

My favorite part was the crocodile show featuring members of the Irwin family. It was exciting and really well done. I also loved feeding and petting the kangaroos.

The Croc Café inside the zoo was another pleasant surprise. The service was fast, the food selection was great, and the cheeky birds trying to sneak a bite added to the fun.

amazing tour and guide I have been to Australia Zoo before but this was my first time with this company and they were outstanding. Our driver was brilliant. He was so accomodating (we mixed our booking up!) and informative. He gave us tips for the day which really made the experience for us. He provided some commentary there and back which was lovely also. Thank you for a great experience driver! Highly reccomend!!

Disappointed to leave early... Everything was well organized and on time. Coach was basic, but got us to the zoo and back to Brisbane safely. My only beef was only getting (not quite) 5 hours at the zoo, as opposed to the (at least) 6 hours as advertised. The drive/owner wanted to avoid the traffic and leave at 3pm (of course there was no traffic). For $700, I expect full value. If you want to catch some of the shows its difficult to see and appreciate the entire zoo in 5 hours and also peruse the gift shops. You need the full 6 hours at the very minimum.

Don’t do any other tour but this! Steve was such an amazing driver and gave us so much great information and facts along the drive to the zoo about animals, Brisbane and sights along the drive. He was extremely knowledgeable and a safe driver and I’d be happy to go on any tour as long as he’s driving.

Great tour Great tour. We had Steve as driver and he kept us entertained on drive to zoo and back. Plenty of time at zoo. Highly recommend!

Australia Zoo Being from the US, we had watched “Crikey! It’s the Irwins” for quite a while. As a result, walking around this amazing zoo seemed very familiar. The zoo has been carefully and amazingly designed to allow guests to see the vast number of animals and birds in very natural habitats. Unfortunately, the famous Crocoseum was undergoing renovation and so we missed seeing the show there. The animals are all in areas that allow easy viewing. We also walked through the famous animal hospital associated with the zoo. It is worth the short walk to see outside the actual zoo.

Best time ever We had an amazing time
Our driver to the zoo was very funny and nice
He was very informative and gave us great tips to be able to see the whole Zoo. After that we were drove to Mooloolaba beach and we had beach time and right after we were taken to Mooloolaba beach Club and ate large prawns, chicken wings, fries and laughed so much with Richi and Lynley we had an amazing time, we felt special and we felt really well taken care
We even got a welcome beach towel from Australia
Best time ever
One of my best tour experience
Friendly and family oriented
My kids were so happy
And the Marco took us back to the hotel
I could repeat if we weren’t need to fly 20 hours
Loved every minute of this day

Our visit Awesome visit .we really enjoyed it and will be back . My granddaughter loved it and was well worth it.
Directions and tickets were easy to arrange. Staff were polite and respectful.

Best zoo ever ! Fantastic zoo. Best one I’ve ever been to !! Clean. Well designed. Huge /fantastic enclosures. Beautiful landscaping !

Great Way to Visit the Zoo! This tour is perfect for visiting the Australia Zoo from Brisbane. Pickup at the hotel was right on time. Our guide Steve providing entertaining commentary on the drive to the zoo and provided us with a suggested plan for touring the zoo in the allotted time, about six hours. He took us to the zoo's animal hospital when we first arrived at 9am; it was quite interesting and not yet crowded. I suspect that many visitors miss visiting the hospital.

Australia Zoo experience with Croc Tours The round trip with Croc Tours in a smart Mercedes 10 seater van was great! We were picked up in an easy to find location early and the drive there was very comfortable and quick. The driver was very good. We were chaperoned and guided through to the zoo hospital and then to the main zoo and given a comprehensive brochure and lots of good advice. The exhibits and keeper talks were great and the animal enclosures and grounds were very well kept. The animals looked very healthy and well cared for. It was easy to stroll around and there was a shuttle bus to and from the African section. The Crocosaurus show was fabulous and also included exotic and native birds and snakes and of course a crocodile! It was a fabulous day out! (Pickup 8am - delivery home at 5pm). The day was a Monday, not school holidays. There were a lot of people at the zoo, but there was plenary of space and time to see everything, comfortably.

Great! Brilliant day out. So much to see. Very well organised.
Gurt and Audrey helpful and gave us some good pointers to get around the zoo in an efficient manner.

Australia Zoo from Brisbane Fantastic day at the wonderful Irwin family zoo. Our pick-up & collection was as advertised & Steve our driver kept us entertained & ensured we got the most out of our day. Would highly recommend.

Amazing trip to Australia Zoo! An amazing experience overall, even with rain it was still such a great zoo that really takes care of its animals. A special thanks to Steve our bus driver who told me that despite the koala encounters being booked out online I should just go to the guest desk and ask if a spot came free!! So happy to be able to have held a Koala! ????
Steve also gave us some good tips to get around the zoo the best way possible to see everything and feeding the kangaroos is his first tip, they were so fun and still very hungry in the early morning!!
The only downside was that some enclosures were closed for renovations.

Wonderful Tour guide Be sure and follow bus drivers tour of zoo to see it all and not be rushed. Driver was friendly and informative. So very much fun.

Follow the Bus driver's suggested path through the Zoo A very good day at Australia Zoo. Our driver gave us some very good tips on the best path to follow through the zoo that made the most of our visit. Enjoyed all the animals especially feeding the kangaroos and photo with the koala. Catch the animal feeding as early as possible before they are overfed and sleeping in the shade.

Great day had all round! Steven was a brilliant guide. He had the most helpful tips and funny stories to keep us entertained on our way to and from the zoo. The zoo itself is a 5/5. It put on some great shows and had very good facilities.

Great day at the zoo! Our tour guide Steve was great! What a wonderful day spent at the zoo learning about the animals and the conservation efforts to continue endangered species. The koala nursery was our favorite! Steve kept us informed and entertained during the ride and gave us very helpful tips about the best ways to utilize our time while in the zoo to make sure we saw everything. Highly recommend!

Great way to spend our last day in Australia! Excellent trip, thank you for your flexibility to pick us up from the Ibis airport hotel in Brisbane. We wanted to spend our last day visiting Australia zoo before our night flight home to the UK. The collection and drop off were seamless, great communication regarding pick up time which was spot on. Friendly driver, comfortable transport, took us to the animal hospital at the zoo then escorted us through the entrance. We loved the zoo, a great way to spend our last day in Australia.

Recommend for any Sunshine Coast private transport Aus Zoo Tour from Maroochydore. Timely pickup with friendly and professional drivers. It was refreshing to have wonderful service in these trying times. The two bus operators were very engaging and were willing to help in any way to make the day enjoyable.
Highly recommend this business for any transport needs on the Sunshine Coast.

Fantastic!! Wonderful service from Richie and Lynley. Initial communication arranging our trip was fantastic.
We arranged airport transfers and a day trip to Australia Zoo all with child car seats. Lynley drove us and went above and beyond to ensure our trip went smoothly. Could not recommend highly enough.

So much fun! Priscilla was Great! I can't say enough about this tour! First our driver Priscilla was so fun and friendly! I highly recommend her! She was the best tour guide I have ever had! The croc van picked us up at our hotel on time. We had plenty of time to explore the zoo and hospital. On the way home we stopped by the Glass Mountain's Scenic View Area where we had more time to take in the beauty. We were dropped off at our hotel. This tour is everything we expected and so much more! I will always use them when I visit Australia as they have tours and pick ups all over besides the Zoo.

Australia Zoo visit This company is fantastic. Turned up on time. Not one hitch from start to finish. Personable, knowledgeable and superb driving.

Would have no hesitation in recommending this 1st class business.

Fantastic guides I am giving these guys my highest recommendation. They made our trip so very easy and hassle free. I verified them through multiple sources to make sure they were reliable, knowledgeable, considerate and trustworthy. They passed with flying colors.

They handled everything from the airport transfers, hotels, entry fees, recommendations on where to eat, and sightseeing trips. They took into account we were all seniors in age and made sure we toured the easy routes.

Their hotel choices were spot on.

Without a doubt you can use these guys and feel confident that they will do what they say!

Australia Zoo Our driver Richie arrived on time. The vehicle was very comfortable. Richie was courteous, friendly and had good local knowledge. When we arrived at the zoo, we were taken straight in to meet with the animals that made up the welcoming committee. Richie took a heap of photos of us and sent them through to us via WhatsApp. Will definitely use this company again.
