We came here for a birthday celebration tonight and it was exceptional. Great food and delicious Gin and cocktails.

Hannah was exceptional at looking after us. Its been a while since we have been so looking forward to returning soon.

Wonderful experience. Staff were excellent and were all very engaged and happy to share their knowledge and time. Food was also excellent with the Arancini balls amazing.
Special mention to Hamishwhose service and knowledge was outstanding.

Great time developing our own Gin & Rum flavours and our host May was most entertaining. Stayed for some cocktails afterwards - brilliant. We will be back for a meal, as the food being bought out to the tables looked delicious. Prices are exactly appropriate. Ambiance relaxed and staff professional but more importantly enjoying their jobs. No hesitation in recommending the experience.

I booked the blend & dine experience for our Christmas party this year. Staff and myself agreed it was one of the best Christmas party we have had. Food was amazing! The service was great, they really looked after us even with how busy they were. We had a blast! Thanks to all the staff for making this experience so memorable! Special mention to Ness and Jossi!

For the last two years my Rotary club has held a ‘Gintastic’ fundraising event at Earp’s Distillery.
It’s a fabulous venue with exceptional bar staff who are friendly, knowledgeable & always obliging.
Our finger food was delicious, well-priced & served by the wait staff in a professional & timely manner.
Georgina the Functions Manager was always responsive & dealt with dietary requirements & attendance changes with ease.
We all really enjoyed our night at Earp’s last week.

My partner and I booked the Blend & Dine experience and wow, would highly recommend. Ness was our spirits guide and she was super lovely, funny and knowledgeable. She made the experience so much fun and taught us a lot at the same time. The food was delicious which added another layer of enjoyment. All of the staff were super nice too so this made our night feel very warm and welcoming!

My work team attended their spirit blending class recently and had an amazing time.

Ness was our host and she was great, there were many options of flavouring that we could use to create our own flavoured vodka and Ness taught us how to properly taste these and mix them. She also provided some of the history of Earp and information on how they create their flavourings.

Everyone really enjoyed the experience and we all had a cute little custom made vodka to take home.

I would highly recommend their spirit blending classes.

We had our engagement party in the function room at Earps and were very impressed with the events team managed by Kat. Kat and the team were incredibly helpful and laid-back, which made the day so much more enjoyable and stress free. The event space was perfect for the number of guests and the bar staff were efficient in servicing drinks and were friendly towards all our guests. No request was ever too much and the team was happy to accomodate our many questions and visits to the venue prior to the event. Thanks again team!

Took visiting Kiwi friends on a wet Saturday afternoon. Easy parking. We had our blending class followed by a great meal. Lively atmosphere. Our tutor was extremely knowledgeable and engaging. Highly recommend. Also very good value for the money.

We recently had our wedding at Earp and couldn't be more stoked with how it went. Cat is an absolutely asset in every way and we can't emphasize that enough. Communication was seamless, and we truly didn't have to think about a thing come the day. The food was delicious and gobbled up by everyone, drinks were an absolute standout as always and all the staff were brilliant- our guests commented through the night and the coming weeks at how wonderful the staff were.

We had an amazing time at Earp Distillery during our visit to Newcastle! As visitors from out of town, we were after something a bit different – and this experience absolutely delivered. The gin-making session was a real highlight. Ness was fantastic – knowledgeable, passionate, and made the whole process fun, interactive, and genuinely memorable. Getting to take home our custom bottle (and the option to reorder our own unique recipe later) was such a great touch.

The venue itself is beautiful – full of character, with stunning art and a warm, welcoming vibe that felt special without being too formal. It’s the kind of place you want to stay and enjoy.

The entire team was incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived, which really added to the relaxed, enjoyable atmosphere.

The food was also lovely – so delicious, and a perfect complement to the overall experience.

We’d highly recommend Earp Distillery to anyone visiting Newcastle – whether you’re into craft gin, great food, or just looking for something unique to do. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

I had a fantastic dining experience at Earp Distilling Co., dining alone and enjoying every moment of it. The atmosphere of the venue is welcoming, elegant, and perfectly suited for a relaxing evening.

For my meal, I started with the Lamb Skewers seasoned with garlic, chilli, and oregano served with fresh rocket. The lamb was cooked perfectly, juicy and tender with a delightful hint of spice from the chilli, complemented beautifully by the peppery rocket.

Next, I enjoyed the Spatchcock with Vanilla Carrot Puree, Broccolini, and Master Stock—a house favourite and understandably so. The vanilla carrot puree was particularly outstanding—smooth, rich, and bursting with flavour. It paired excellently with the crispy-skinned, succulent spatchcock and fresh broccolini.

Throughout the evening, the service was great, attentive, warm, and genuinely friendly. To accompany my dinner, I opted for sparkling mineral water, although the gin menu and cocktails looked amazing.

Overall, Earp delivered a great experience, and I highly recommend it to anyone.

Came to see my favourite band Ball Park Music and had the most delicious calamari (GF!!) but also the bartender with black short hair and a blue streak is so lovely we absolutely loved her all three workers are really kind but we had a whole conversation with the blue streak bartender and they are AMAZING. What a joy.

The distillery and restaurant looks incredible. Inside it's very funky and stylish, with a super slick and fancy feel to it. Perfect for a classy work function or Romanic date.

The banquet was well priced for what we got - which was an exciting array of tasty plates, topped off with some of the best steak and Barramundi you'll ever have. We were all stuffed and unable to finish it, so they kindly gave us takeaway containers.

The food was all fresh and tasty. Meat was cooked just the way I like it - medium. Portions were spot on and they staggered the dishes wisely.

The drinks were amazing - which they had to be, it being a distillery. Every drink had a fun and unique twist to it and they weren't crazy over priced. Totally recommend trying their whiskey - smooth as.

Overall we had a great dinner and really appreciated the fantastic service from the polite staff.

A great find, pity we hadn't planned to stay here longer. Was nice to do a tasting fight, a heap of spirits available and they even do 'blend your own' gin rum and whisky sessions. Worth the visit

For our first wedding anniversary, my husband and I went to Earp Distilling Co. for a guided tasting followed up with the "feed me" lunch, being chefs choice.

Firstly, thank you to Mitchell who's joyousness, enthusiasm and knowledge of Earp's spirits was such a delight and his guided tour through the tasting was so much fun! Was the perfect companion whilst there.

Secondly, everything from the vodka to the gin, to the rum, to the lemincello and orancello were beyond delicious! Whether it was straight, with some ice, or a mixer, their spirits are so we'll balanced that we bought a bottle of everything we tasted and will definitely be life long customers.

Thirdly, and not least of all, the food. Good god the food. The greatest of compliments to the chef. We were spoilt for choice and had I think 8 dishes in all including entree, starter, main, side and dessert. Every single one was 10/10. If there was one though that just scrapped ahead of the rest, it would have to be the duck. I am a huge lover of duck meat and have it nearly everywhere it's on offer and without a shadow of a doubt, this was the best duck I have ever had.

Also not for nothing, but the building it is in, and the decor is the perfect blend of modern, industrial, distillery, inviting, warm and cool all on one.

Earp Distillimg Co. is a must for anyone who lives in the Newcastle/Hunter region, and those visiting. We will be back very regularly!

Great time at Earp Distilling Co. Highly recommend the 3 hour spirit school. Our instructor Ness was very entertaining and informative about making gin and you get to make a bottle to take home. Afterwards enjoyed delicious meal. Attentive service from all team members as well.

A cute distillery with many interesting class options. We did the spirit blending class and found it so informative and interesting. We got to create our own flavoured spirit and loved the experience. The value for money was really good and all the staff were lovely. The drinks we ordered from the bar were also delicious.

One of the best places we’ve eaten at in Newcastle. Earp has a really beautiful atmosphere, lovely decor, drinks and food. I’ve been here a couple of times now and have enjoyed it each and every time. Thank you chef for the delicious meals, and the staff for the warm hospitality!! We really enjoyed our visit and will be back again.

I was exploring the area solo, decided to pop in for a few G&T’s and parked myself at the bar with my book. At no point did I feel uncomfortable or judged by the staff, they were so polite and friendly.
The gin itself is delish, very keen to try their other spirits ????

Had lunch here for several family members birthdays. Service was impeccable and friendly. Sad to say, our food experience wasn’t good. Maybe it was just a busy day. The calamari was undercooked. Very rubbery and chewy. The crispy pork belly was tasty, but not one bit of rind was crispy. It was soggy. Slightly dry pork too. But the lobster rolls were worst of all. It was definitely prawn meat. Not lobster. We had high hopes when looking at the menu online. Dessert was awesome! So would come back again, but hope the chef was on point.
Again, kudos for the attentive, friendly service!

Recently we had a group event at Earp and did the Blending class. We had Mae take care of us in their new private upstairs room and it was amazing!

Mae was fantastic, funny, knowledgeable, and made for a great night.

We would 100% recommend taking part in the blending class. The cocktails they make on site are delicious and the food is amazing.

I wish I could say I had a great experience but I just didn’t. The food and drinks were nice once they arrived but the service left much to be desired, in particular the service by the young male staff on. While ordering food, one of the younger staff members made disparaging remarks towards me and our table was neglected most of the night when it wasn’t even a full house. As said, the food and the drinks were nice once we were able to order/they arrived but the service was mostly subpar and disappointing.

We had a fantastic night at Earps. Staff were all so helpful and lovely. Gin and cocktails were amazing. The food was excellent, we did the feed me package and they accommodated to my intolerances without blinking an eye lid! Just how a night out should be, we will be back soon!

Where do we even start. Earp is by far one of our FAVOURITE places to come for a fabulous drink and incredible food in all of Newcastle. We have been a few times now, and tonight we had the most beautiful time. The employees here are truely the perfect example of customer service. You guys are amazing, and we will always come back!

We had the most outstanding lunch here. An extensive menu of sharing plates made it difficult to choose. We loved every dish and will be back to try the others.

Liv was most knowledgeable on all things alcohol and provided the best service we’ve had in a long time. The Limoncello Spritz cocktails went down easily.

Fantastic atmosphere. We had a great time tasting all the spirits and good small plates of food to go with the drinks.

As a part of my Sperm Donation Australia, Newcastle leg, I ventured into Carrington to witness some great gins on a tasting paddle serve with great food. The chips were addictive and the mango oysters were smooth and yummy.

Beautiful service, amazing drinks and delicious MasterChef worthy food. The price tag is definitely worth it! Thank you for a superb experience.

Really interesting food and drink offerings - great for a fun afternoon of gin tasting. Prices are on the high side but the quality was high and the staff very friendly so it felt like it was worth splurging on.

We went for the first time yesterday and didn't disappoint! Food and drinks fantastic and proper service that you don't seem to get much in Newi anymore. The bar tenders loved their craft and waitstaff so friendly. Will be back! The skewers and calamari were delish.

Just want to thank the staff for an awesome night. You really made our experience special.
We had a gin tasting which was fascinating. And a meal there with some incredible Asian fusion small plates. We were particularly impressed by the cauliflower dish. Oh and there new release rum was very interesting once it warmed up a bit.

They have a long history of gin distillation.

The gin tasting experience allows you to taste the different types of gin they have to offer-- Classic Juniper (good for beginners), Smoked Juniper, Portside,No. 8 and limoncello.

We personally enjoyed smoked juniper and portside.

Service crew was friendly and knowledgeable. I loved that the staff took her time to explain the gin tasting process.

Glenfiddich Masterclass We attended the Glenfiddich Masterclass. It was an excellent night, sampling some of the Glenfiddich range, which was complemented with a cocktail on arrival and a cheese and charcuterie board.

We’ve also been to Earp on other occasions and have always found the staff to be quite friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Food is always delicious too
