Amazing, loved every minute. 100% recommend. The views were amazing, small groups so not crowded, the staff were all lovely, cant wait to book a snorkel adventure with thos company next.

Good Overall Experience with a Few Drawbacks Overall a good experience;
- we went in April and the water was still quite warm making swimming and beach going quite pleasant.
- saw a decent variety fish while snorkelling the wrecks, although the coral is not a vibrant in colour compared to northern QLD. Did see dolphins and manatees as well
- convenient location for anyone of the northside of Brisbane. I believe this is the only tour operating from Newport.
- the bar offered a variety of tropical cocktails which were tasty.

The negatives:
- felt a bit rushed; you are only snorkelling for about 45 minutes of the 8 hour tour. We were in the middle snorkell group as well which meant we had 45 minutes either side of swim time which didn't feel enough to use productively
- To call it an 'eco safari' seemed a bit of stretch to me. Yes, we saw a podcast of dolphins (which by account is not common), but the commentary was hard to hear so missed most information.
- the currents were particularly strong the day we went, so many people made unintentional contact with the coral / rusty wrecks which resulted in many cuts requiring first aid - be warned!

Worth doing once but would go unguided next time.

Sunset cruise not to be missed The sunset cruise was a great experience with super live music and great grazing food. The crew looked after us throughout and made sure we were safe and enjoying ourselves

Well worth the experience I love the cruise so did a group of friends i went with. Every single crew member was extremelly friendly and helpful. We all enjoyed out glass of bubles, food was plenty and delicious. The boat was clean and spacious. If you wanted to buy any drinks or food extra the price was affordable. Live music made the trip even more special. We were very lucky with the weather as well. The view was amazing.
Well worth a tip everyone.

Highly recommended. The snorkeling experience was beyond amazing. We were lucky that the weather was perfect and the water was very clear. The tour was organized and the staff were friendly and accommodating while still ensuring the safety of everyone.

Our family of 5 was privileged to go for the snorkel excursion to Moreton Island as the last day of a 20 day Australian trip, and it was the best day of the whole vacation. It was low-key enough to feel relaxing, but still had enough to keep our 11, 13, and 14 year-olds busy.
We were lucky to have some clear water for snorkeling - the wrecks provide enough protection that we didn't feel any waves, and the fish life was like swimming in an aquarium! We have done some snorkeling at Rottnest and Ningaloo in WA, as well as the Great Barrier Reef, and this was just as good, if not better.
The crew were very welcoming and personable, joking a little and making us feel at home.
Thanks to Mick the skipper for a safe drive out and back, Jake for picking up my straggling kids on the jetski, Stan for running the inflatable to and from the beach with people or bar orders all day without complaint (and for finding a dugong during the eco cruise!), Lillie for being our snorkel guide, Grace for her upbeat announcements, and Jade for digging the golden gaytimes out from the back of the freezer. And good luck to Sam on those lotto tickets!

Amazing Snorkeling & Unforgettable day on Moreton Island We had an incredible time with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises on Moreton Island. The snorkeling was absolutely amazing — in small groups we navigated through the reef built out of scuttled ships through clear water and saw beautiful coral, an eel and tons of unique fish. We were also able to see green turtles, a dugong and dolphins. The crew - Grace, Lily, Mick, Stan, Jake and Jade were both fun and knowledgeable, and the island itself is stunning. One of the highlights of our Australia trip. Highly recommend!

Awesome day trip with snorkelling & cocktails! Our snorkelling trip yesterday went above and beyond our expectations! Grace, Jake and Mick were excellent hosts and great at making cocktails! Having drinks delivered to you on the beach by someone in the tender while you have a mini tournament of cornhole was next level service and we were living our best below deck lives. The snorkelling through the wrecks was spectacular and was so much fun having someone so knowledgeable and experienced guide us through and find cool things to show us. We couldn’t believe the abundance of life that we saw, way more fish than we’ve ever seen on other reef trips. It really was such a wonderful day and would recommend to anyone!! Might even have to go again sometime 😁

Fantastic all round cruise and so close to so much wildlife! I recently went on the Dolphin Wild Eco Tour with my husband and had a truly marvellous day. It was such a well organised trip that offered the perfect balance of adventure and relaxation.
​The wildlife sightings were a major highlight! We saw such a variety of fish and a sea Eagle! We were lucky enough to spot a pod of dolphins that came right up to the boat as well as a massive bait ball of fish! The crew’s knowledge of the local ecosystem was very impressive. The snorkelling trip was a fantastic all round experience, the water was clear whilst snorkelling and the marine life up close was so cool.
​To top it all off, enjoying cocktails on the beach at Moreton Island was perfect! The lunch provided was fresh and delicious, as a vegetarian I felt the crew went out of their way to ensure I was looked after as well. I couldn't have asked for a better day out on the water. Highly recommended!

Everything was five-star — the guided snorkelling, the stunning shipwrecks, lunch, the beach time, and the overall experience. The kids had an amazing time and are still talking about it!
This was a truly gold-star adventure and we will definitely be rebooking. Highly recommend to any group or family looking for an unforgettable snorkelling experience.

Had the best day on the Dolphin Wild cruise today, the amount of marine life was incredible, turtles, dolphins, reef sharks and so many beautiful fish.
The crew were so friendly and helpful, our snorkel guide Bella was awesome aswell keeping us safe but also having fun!

Lovely day on the water today. Lots of information given regarding marine life. Eco talk was very informative. We felt very safe in and out of the water. Nothing was to difficult. Yummy food and drinks. Trips into the beach on and off as much as you liked. Tangalooma wrecks itself was certainly a site to see.

We had the most incredible day out on the Dolphin Wild Island Cruise to Moreton Island today. From the moment we arrived at the marina, the staff were so friendly and welcoming.

The vibe was fun with music, beach games, swims to the shore and cannonball competitions, making it a perfect family-friendly island day trip.

Our snorkelling tour at the Tangalooma shipwrecks was amazing, with so many bright fish and marine life in the crystal-clear water. The crew guided us through the shipwrecks and made the whole snorkelling cruise feel safe and well organised.

We felt so well looked after all day. The fully catered lunch and afternoon tea were fresh and delicious.

A 10/10 wildlife cruise and dolphin tour, one of the best things to do in Moreton Bay. We can’t wait to go again. Highly recommend!

Fabulous evening! Despite the fact the weather didn’t play games and do we didn’t get a great sunset, this was a lovely evening! Great music from Lachy and the crew were attentive and great fun!

Enjoyable sunset boat trip in Moreton Bay It was a lovely evening for a cruise, beautiful sunset, relatively calm water, the cruise had a relaxed vibe, staff were friendly and helpful. There was a live singer upstairs and quite a few birthdays on board so everyone was singing along. The only reason I haven’t given it a 5/5 was the lack of small paper plates for the food. There was only paper napkins and the tiniest of paper boats that held maybe 3 crackers and a bit of cheese. No spoons to serve out the dips and no knives to cut the cheese. It all was a bit messy and lots of wasted trips backwards and forwards to get tiny amounts of food.
That being said I would recommend it as something different to do for a Saturday night.

My wife and I booked the eco marine safari and tangalooma snorkel cruise for our 1 year marriage anniversary, and we were blown away. The snorkelling was absolutely stunning, the captain Mick was extremely friendly made the day run very well and was also very informative, Hilly guided us through the tangalooma wrecks and was extremely knowledgeable about the sea life as well as the wreckages throughout the entire snorkelling journey and made the experience very enjoyable, the food was really nice as well. My wife and I both said to each other that we would 100% rebook this experience again and spend another day out with mick and the crew to have this experience all over again and highly recommend it to anyone who are looking to do something like this in the future.

Absolutely amazing experience! The snorkel tour was one of the highlights of our trip. From the moment we stepped on board, the captain and crew made us feel welcome and taken care of. The deckhands were incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive—always checking in to make sure everyone was comfortable and having a good time.

The snorkel spot was unique, and the crew did a fantastic job guiding us and ensuring safety while still keeping the vibe relaxed and fun. On top of all that, the food was surprisingly delicious—fresh, flavorful, and far better than we expected on a boat tour!

Fantastic tour, don’t hesitate to book! I had a friend coming to visit from Sydney and as we are both keen adventurers and love snorkeling, I thought we could do a tour of Moreton Bay together.
The tour with Dolphin Wild was amazing and excellent value for money. The boat was comfortable and well equipped, the crew were all super friendly and accommodating and tour itself was excellent. There was a very strong current when we went out to do our snorkel of the wrecks, and Hilly and Denise looked after the groups incredibly, considering the tough conditions. Whilst snorkeling, we saw so many tropical fish and two sea turtles ! We then hung out on the beach, playing games set up by the crew for a couple hours, before returning to the boat for lunch and then proceeding to do a tour of the island. We even had some dolphins come swimming alongside the boat!

Awesome day trip! Fantastic day trip! Had an awesome time snorkeling and we were in the water much longer than expected. In addition to that, the marine life was more bountiful than we had imagined, even better than the touristy part of Great Barrier.

The captain and crew provided everything as stated. Lunch was as Aussie as it can get with bread rolls, ham, salad including beetroot! and cold roast chicken. Plentiful for all.

Would definitely recommend to all!

An absolutely amazing experience as I had never snorkelled before and to be able to do it in such clear water, with excellent guides and the correct equipment…brilliant. The staff are friendly, experienced, the food provided fresh and plentiful, the boat clean and lots of space for everyone…even providing card games for the trip there and back to fill in time…👍🏼👏🏼
We got to see many different varieties of fish, clams, 3 turtles 😍though the Dugong was elusive for us.

We had so much fun with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises! My husband and I booked their Morton Island Snorkel tour and had such a fun time!
The dock / boat was so easy to find and plenty of parking available! The crew made welcome and boarding fun and enjoyable. We got fitted for our wet suits then headed in to brief and enjoy some biscuits!
Once we got to the island we immediately got into our suits and snorkels around the ship wreaks! The guide told us about the ships and took us to the best spots (low currents or tons of fish!). Word of caution the coral is very sharp and of your leg, arm, or hand gets caught it will cut. We snorkeled for about 1.5 hours before heading back. Because if my small cut they took us back via the dingy boat which was very gracious. The captain took it upon himself to bandage my hand up using on board medical wraps.
Lunch was a buffet of sandwich stuff which was light and delicious after swimming.
We then had 2 hours to spend on the boat or on the beach. They had games and activities for us to do on and off board.
The wild life tour was okay, there were t many animals to look at but we did see a turtle and a sting ray which was cool.
Overall amazing crew and amazing tour.

Had an incredible day with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises. Really easy to locate the boat and from the get go all the crew were really friendly, helpful and kind. The snorkelling with excellent and the wildlife tour was very interesting. Even managed to see a Dugong. The boat was clean and well supplied and although lunch was simple.ple, it was certainly plentiful and well out together. Overall a fantastic day out with these guys.

My wife and I are new to Australia and our children kindly gave us vouchers to go to the Tangalooma wrecks with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises. We are both retired and the staff took very good care of us. Luckily we are both still active and enjoy snorkeling and swimming. The tour is casual but very well run and organized. There is free tea, coffee and biscuits to snack on during the boat trip over to Tangalooma.

Just a tip to those planning to go snorkeling, make sure that you have you bathing suit on under your clothes as there is limited space to get changed on the boat. You are given a wet suit as soon as you get on the boat which you need to try on to see that it fits.

The team takes good care of the people snorkeling and even if you are not experienced you will be in good hands. There were plenty of fish to be seen on the wrecks, so i was not disappointed.

Lunch is simple but more than adequate plus there is plenty available. There is a cash bar where you can buy most drinks to keep you happy.

After lunch and snorkeling, we went on a Eco excursion and it was nice to see more of the island and some of the ruins from the war. We were lucky enough to see some dugong as well.

The boat is very stable but unfortunately some people got a bit sea sick on the way back and once again I can only complement the team for the way they looked after these people, trying to make them comfortable.

I would definitely recommend recommend this tour if you want to see the Tangalooma wrecks and some of Morton Island.

Enjoyable day disappointed on snorkel time length Was a nice day enjoyed the snorkelling itself was great however was disappointed that this was only for 38 minutes for my group (orange group) felt very rushed not for 50 mins as advertised. So that was disappointing as it was the main reason I booked this this tour compared to other tours. Other groups got longer 45-50 mins we were the shortest which was a shame as the weather conditions were great the whole day. Food and boat facilities were really good. Missed out on the afternoon fruit it's a buffet first come first serve so have to make sure you get it quick. Could've been set up with better shading on the beach there was only one cabana which was half way going into the sea no games as advertised. Saw dolphins which was an awesome surprise for the wildlife cruise great commentary on the wildlife and history of the island.

Had originally booked for last year but our cruise unfortunately got cancelled due to bad weather. The Dolphin Wild team were amazing in ensuring that we were able to rebook at a time which suited us. We ended up going on our cruise a few days ago and it was amazing! Finding the port and boat was super easy. Our cruise was quite busy so there were limited seats due to the number of families on board.

Unfortunately we did go over on a cloudy/rainy day but the team were really good at keeping us in high spirits. Times for snorkelling were split into 3 groups so there was a chance to explore some of the island whilst we waited. It would’ve been nice for the team to give us some activities/suggestions during this time but we made do nonetheless.

The lunch provided was very filling with plenty of food to go around. Additional food and drinks were also available for purchase on board.

The snorkeling experience was unforgettable, our guide was amazing in showing us different areas of the reef and animals. We would’ve loved more time in the water to explore!

Overall, we couldn’t recommend the Dolphin Wild Team more!! Especially the girl running lunch/bar and the boy who was doing the charter from the boat to the beach.

Excellent Day Cruise! This cruise was a gift organised through Red Balloon. The booking process with Dolphin Wild Island Cruises wad simple and seamless. The whole day was very well organised, the crew were lovely and went above and beyond, the lunch was great, and bar options were impressive! This was a wonderful, relaxing, totally unrushed day enjoyed by young and old alike. The wrecks are well worth seeing with your own eyes. I fully recommend this cruise!

Absolutely amazing We had the most amazing day, we came home feeling so relaxed. The day was awesome from the moment we boarded until we disembarked. Staff were awesome, nothing was ever too much trouble. Can’t wait for until we can cruise again 😆

A great way to spend a day. A group of us chose this cruise to celebrate a friend's birthday.
We had an excellent day .. we boarded at Newport Marina and while we enjoyed the free coffee and biscuits and the views, the crew managed to get about 60 people sorted out with wetsuits and snorkelling gear as well as conduct a safety briefing and have all paperwork in place so as soon as we arrived at Moreton Island we were in our groups and ready to start our guided snorkelling tour.
The weather and the tide were kind to us and we loved every minute of the drift snorkel .. amazing amount of marine life greeted us and you easily get lost in the beauty of this marine area as you drift along the wrecks.
Once back on board lunch was ready and was plentiful and delicious.
The next hour or two you could choose to swim in the beautiful clear water, catch a tender over to the island for a wander or just relax on board with a bar open to purchase drinks and snacks.
Next was a wildlife spotting tour before heading back to Newport Marina.
The staff were all professional, fun, welcoming and informative .. all in all we had a lovely day.

Absolutely amazing experience!!! We booked many Tours before but this was one of the best: everyone was super friendly and caring, we enjoyed lunch in the sun and the whole trip was fun and relaxing at the same time. After snorkeling you can go the beach or stay at the boat and get a nice tan. With a bit of luck you also have a chance to see whales. Totally recommended!

We enjoyed every moment spent on the cruise and we were able to take incredible videos and photos of our time snorkelling Highly Recommend ! Very family friendly and loved having the food included plus the opportunity to purchase extras from the open bar for snacks and alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks was definitely a treat !

AWESOME CRUISE My Grandaughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our Trip, the snorkelling was something my grandaughter hadn't experienced and she loved it. The staff were very friendly and funny, atmosphere was great.
Lunch was lovely and the afternoon tea (fresh fruit) was delicious. We enjoyed being able to go onto Tangalooma and climb the sand dunes. Would highly recommend this trip.

Great day cruising A fantastic day in and out of the water. Initially, I was a little nervous about snorkelling but quickly felt at ease with safety briefings from the crew, their help with use of equipment, pool noodles and also a small safety boat following along the wrecks with the snorkelling group. We had an amazing day with the crew on Dolphin Wild Cruise. We headed over to Morton Island where we snorkeled the ship wrecks and fed the trillions of colourful fish. Lunch was provided on board which was delicious and fresh. We were able to swim a shore and then spent some time on the beach and boating down the sand dunes.
Drinks and snacks were available onboard and free coffee/tea and biscuits were served.
We saw turtles and dugongs on the nature tour on our way home .
The crew were fantastic and our safety was of the upmost priority????????.
