Scenic Rim Signature Camel Ride & Tasting

The Scenic Rim is a renowned food and nature destination in Queensland, celebrated for its rich agricultural heritage and incredible local produce. Embark on a journey through this spectacular region like never before.

  • Begin with a relaxed camel ride across Australia’s largest camel farm and dairy, where gentle camels stroll past rolling volcanic hills, with views of the UNESCO-listed Gondwana Rainforests in the distance. Along the way, our cameleers will share fascinating stories about the Scenic Rim’s history, culture, and deep agricultural roots.
  • Next, unwind and savour a curated grazing platter showcasing award-winning camel dairy, regional charcuterie, and seasonal local produce. Known as a foodie paradise, the Scenic Rim is also home to boutique wineries and craft breweries, so your platter comes with a glass of premium local wine, a cold craft beer, or a refreshing non-alcoholic option. As you relax, you’ll also discover why camel farming is sustainable, low-impact, and perfectly suited to this fertile land.
  • To finish, indulge in something truly unique: a shot of silky camel-milk vodka or a scoop of creamy camel milk gelato. Before you leave, capture a photo with our camels and take home memories of an authentic farm-to-plate experience in one of Australia’s most beautiful regions

Includes:

  • A glass of wine/beer, or soft drink
  • A grazing platter (share-style) showcasing award-winning Camel Milk Cheeses and local charcuterie
  • Approx. 40-minute camel ride

Arrive early to feed our friendly camels, browse our Skincare & Souvenir Shop, and try a Camelccino at the Homestead Café. All our products are available to purchase, so bring an esky or cooler bag to take home a taste of Summer Land Camels.
