Excellent Tour in Darwin We booked this tour as a shore excursion during a stop in Darwin. Our guide, Yvonne, met us at the designated spot and proceeded to share a lot of information with us. All three of us couples were on the ship, so timing worked out great.

During the first food stop we enjoyed excellent examples of Vietnamese food at Ruby restaurant, then walked around the city for a couple of hours looking at and learning about the street art in Darwin and the aboriginal influences. We also visited the Parliament House and heard about the role of Darwin in world war 2.

Our final stop was at Snapper Rock , where we had amazing fresh snapper, cauliflower popcorn and crocodile!! Yvonne was nice enough to walk back with us into the city and point us towards some great places to shop for local souvenirs.

We highly recommend this tour if you have a few hours in Darwin.

Great Food Tour Went on the tour with John, great host for the night. We went to 3 restaurants sampled various foods including croc, seafood and Vietnamese. The share plates were enough food for us all and the restaurants were all great. In the middle did a tour of the amazing street art around the lanes of Darwin. A great experience which is recommended to do .

Loved this experience. Katrina was not only a wonderful host but had great stories to tell and knowledge to share. I would highly recommend this tour company to anyone.

A great experience even for locals!! We had a great time on this tour. We have lived in Darwin for the past 6 years and walk past the street art daily, but we never knew the stories behind them OR the fact that they are interactive on an app!! That is such a fantastic experience!
To top it off, the food we had was amazing and at two of our favourite places, so this made it even more enjoyable.

A Full Belly and Vibrant Views: Street Art and Dining in Darwin Johnno, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and it was great seeing all the interactive street art. The 3 restaurants we went to were all superb. So much food, we couldn't finish it all! Highly recommend this tour if you love to eat and love some funky artwork.

Get some steps in while immersing in murals and food We really enjoyed our tour with Kathy. Discovering the art works and the stories behind them was an excellent way to start (including meeting one of the artists from LA who was part way through the mural). From there, a truly delicious meal at a number of restaurants showed us parts of Darwin we were yet to explore. A really great and tasty way to spend an evening!

Amazing food and art experience We had a small group of six plus guide, Chris. The small group was fun and the guide incredibly knowledgeable. The food presented was amazing and a diverse selection of local produce. We recommended the tour to lots of fellow travellers as we went through to Adelaide. Highly recommend!

Ok, nothing special. Our guide seemed oblivious to the fact that the sun was going down, making it difficult to enjoy the murals. And we didn’t get much explanation about food, how the ingredients were sourced, what the ingredients were.

Good intro to local food scene Interesting introduction to multi-cultural Darwin, with tastings of Korean and Chinese food, and a visit to a popular local fish restaurant, with tastings of the celebrated Baramundi fish, crocodile, and an extremely tasty banana dish. Guide had great local knowledge.

Suggest for the young and hungry. As a birthday treat I booked this tour for my friend. We were a party of 3 joined by a lovely couple from America. Our guide was the owner of the company. It covered 3 restaurants and minimal walking. The tour part which covered the street murals was very interesting. Unfortunately each restaurant, with wonderful food, was like having 3 full meals in 3 hours. Too much food. A glass of wine at the first restaurant was complimentary but all other wine was at your own expense. In our minds, for the price, a little less food and a glass of wine at all stops. The commentary was quite interesting.

Go hungry! Great tour. Darrel was very knowledgeable and interesting. Fabulous food and very plentiful so would advise to go very hungry. The restaurants were excellent and the cocktails were unusual and delicious. The street art was incredible and the augmented reality app was amazing - you would never know just by looking at the art yourself what you could really see! Highly recommend this tour.

Fabulous way to spend 4 hours in Darwin Absolutely fabulous way to spend 4 hours in Darwin. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and has a diverse background with first hand knowledge in everything from agriculture to energy extraction to the indigenous community. Our tour was shaped around our interests. We have been on many many cruise excursions and found our gourmet tour far superior in every way. Cruisers don't hesitate. Superb.

My guide, Christine, understood exactly what I was interested in, and since I had a private tour, she was able to show me some art galleries and other shops, as well as the wall art murals. She is a gem! Food at first 2 restaurants was fabulous, but by the time we arrived at the 3rd, I was too full and too tired. I would recommend this tour 100%

GREAT! We booked the lunch tour on a Sunday. Great restaurant selection and a great introduction to NT flavours. The bonus was the introduction to the street art and the app (which we spent hours doing later in the week). Such an excellent way to get acquainted with Darwin.

A “Must-Do” if you like good food. A terrific way to find out about Darwin’s foodie haunts. Our guide Thaniks (oops, bet I have that incorrect, my apologies) was outstanding. Very knowledgeable on the local restaurants and the food culture. Restaurants chosen were terrific and even tips on other restaurants to enjoy on later nights. Our host kept the conversation going and had a real interest in her guests. Street Art walk was very worthwhile and a credit to Darwin so definitely download the App to view the Art, and watch it come alive.

Like a Lunch with Good Friends We did the lunch time tour with Chris and could not have enjoyed ourselves more.
The food we tasted at each of the three restaurants was delicious and generous. The street art was awesome (make sure you download the AR app) and Chris’ enthusiasm and knowledge was invaluable. She also showed us several little local gems we might not otherwise have found.
One of us has some mobility issues following an injury and Chris made sure to pace the tour accordingly.
All in all one of the best luncheon experiences we have had anywhere.

Had high expectations, came away disappointed Started out really well with a small tasting plate of beautifully presented food. The rest of the night was disappointing. We were under the impression that we would be visiting quite a few restaurants, meet the chef at some of them etc. Didn't happen. We had lots to eat at a Vietnamese and then a waterfront restaurant but I could not use the word gourmet for it.

Highly recommended food and Street art tour Darwin. A really good experience. Our Host, Christine, was very personable and knowledgeable and made sure everything ran smoothly. We ate some new (to us) ingredients such as Tempura Crocodile, Kangaroo and Pepperberry bread. All delicious. Then experienced some fascinating Street art which Christine explained the background of. Altogether highly recommended.

A must do Darwin Tour. Different delicious varieties of food, Peppertree Indigenous boutique samples of kangaroo, scallop & crocodile. Lovely meal at Ruby’s Vietnamese and then while baked fish at Snapper Rocks Seafood.

Food, exercise and education all in one package Our guide Michael is very knowledgeable, friendly and was a great host on our tour. The restaurants we went to gave us a terrific variety of food samples, and all the restaurant managers were polite and courteous.
The street art that we saw was amazing, and the app that brought some of it to life is totally fascinating.

Awaresome experience to do solo This tour was amazing. Highly recommend. Great for a social gathering and doing it solo was great.Just done the Friday night dinner tour starting at the Pepperberry restaurant at the Hilton Hotel. We visited 3 restaurants and were fantastic. Chris and Tharis were our tour guides and they were wonderful. They both had alot of knowledge of the artwork as well on the buildings. I mentioned that as an suggestion was to do a pub or bar crawl tour around Darwin cbd. Definitely would fly up and do a tour like that next time I'm in darwin.

Viking Orion overnight Loved our evening in Darwin. We arrived on Viking Orion cruise line and loved our evening in Darwin with Darrell. We enjoyed 3 restaurants
Phat Mango with 3 selections including 2 fish and one beef.
Rubys for Vietnamese with awesome duck salad, chicken wings, and scrumptious veggies.
Snapper Rocks down by the beautiful wharf area for amazing barby red snapper, crocodile and luscious banana dessert.
The sun went down and it was beautiful evening. Darrell was fun and most knowledgeable on Darwin's history and culture. We went to bed happy and full.

Darwin Thoroughly enjoyed our walking food and art tour of Darwin. My only negative would be that other than water and soft drinks, no other drinks were included on what was already quite a pricey tour. Many food tours I’ve done include a glass of wine at each stop or a spirit locally made etc. It was an expensive night adding drink on top.

Great experience on this gourmet tour with our host Carol who was full of great information and was passionate about Darwin. Restaurants were interesting and varied using local produce and food was plentiful and tasty with highlight being cardamom brûlée at Urban Spice on the Waterfront. The street art interaction was amazing and Carol was very knowledgeable on the artists and source. Great night highly recommend!!

Good food, great augmented street art, informative guide Darwin is a melting pot of cultures and this walking tour covered them well. We visited 3 interesting restaurants and shared delightful dishes. My pick was the pork dish at Urban Spice. It was mouth wateringly good.
However the truly unexpected part of the tour for me was the street art, augmented by an app, so that many of them came to life via the app on your phone. Playing music or having the art interact or change. It’s a fabulous use of technology and was well explained by guide Chris.

If you can, book on this tour for your first night in Darwin, it will orient you and give you ideas about where to eat next and other places to visit that a local guide can tell you about - apparently the High Court has a spectacular mosaic floor, but I’ll have to see that on my next visit. Thanks Chris.

This tour is for the foodies Only having a week in Darwin meant every second counted, there was so much to see and do in this town. This food and art tour was great because it was curated and I only had to book and turn up for a wonderful tour of the CBD.

Coming from Melbourne where the food and art is so diverse, I was happily surprised by the quality food and colourful street art of Darwin - it really puts Melbourne CBD street art to shame.

It was worth the money for me and I was lucky to have Michael, Ella and Carol as my tour guides who are incredibly friendly and lovely to chat with. We visited Roma, Ruby and Snapper Rocks which were all great. It was a shame Phat Mango was closed on the Sunday because I’ve heard great things about it so will pop in another time.

This is definitely for the foodies who appreciate good meals, also a word of warning - there’s lots of food so skip the previous meal if you’re having lunch or dinner to make room because it’s a feast.

Darwin Gourmet Tour - don't do it Regrettably, highlights are not available as the guide, Chris, was apparently disorganised or lacked knowledge from a paucity of training: my travel companion has an allergy to the allium family (onion) and two of three venues were entirely unsuitable in the cuisine offered.; no guest count was taken at venue two and a lone guest was left behind. Other guests were the ones to advise that she was absent.

Gastronomical! The tour was wonderful and the food was wonderful but we thought it was a little too much food. We thought just to showcase one meal per restaurant would have made it perfect

What a wonderful evening we had as we sampled a wide range of local ingredients at three of Darwin's best restaurants. We also had a lovely walk viewing incredible street art whilst listening to interesting stories from Aaron our informed and entertaining host. Thoroughly recommend.

The better half and I used our territory tour vouchers for this guided food tour. Blown away!!!! You do not finish the lunchtime tour hungry. We were both pretty full. These guys even organise additional options for those who have different preferences like vegetarian or some allergies as we had a couple in our group. Really worth having a look at doing this tour if you are stuck for ideas on where to go for something to eat. Our tour started at the Roma Bar. We met Darrel there who was going to be our guide and he is also the director. Top bloke. At the Roma Bar we were given a coffee, we had iced lattes. Good coffee. For tucker we were all given 3 small dishes, lentils, fish cakes and sago. All yum. Next we were off to Hilton's Pepperberry then Snapper Rock. Pepperberry served us dishes of bread, scallops, pork belly, miso risotto and kangaroo. They were all delicious. Snapper Rock served us curry cauliflower, salt and pepper croc, paw paw salad, a whole snapper for everyone to share and then finished it all off with brownie and homemade icecream. All dishes 10/10. The tour itself 10/10. It was good to get to see and hear about the street art and a few other things on the strolls between restaurants. Great job Darrel, I hope you are kept busy with this. We will see you again.

We had a lunch tour with Darrel which was not only artistically interesting but food wise very enlightening. The only drawback was we did it just as we were leaving Darwin so couldn’t return to any of the restaurant’s this trip. We meet the chefs and got an insight into the preparation of what we ate, and left the tour properly sated. Thank you Darrel for the wine you shouted us as well, we will certainly do the tour again!

Had a wonderful evening of high quality gourmet cuisine at Snapper Rocks, Pepperberry Restaurant and the Hanumen. Service was great with an abundance of delicious delights at each venue Jamie, our guide, was an absolute delight and her knowledge of Darwin history and street art made our evening complete. We would recommend this tour. Suitable for those from all walks of life. Great night.
