Celebrate the beauty of Bowral during Tulip Time with a day tour designed for Probus Clubs, seniors groups, and community travellers.
Begin your experience at Bowral Honey Farm, nestled within the stunning grounds of Retford Park. Don a beekeeper’s veil and get up close to the hives as a local expert reveals the secrets of the colony and the seasonal rhythms of beekeeping. Afterward, enjoy a guided honey tatsing and morning tea, followed by lunch on the terrace overlooking the lake.
From there, your group will head into the heart of Bowral to experience the magic of Tulip Time, one of Australia’s most celebrated spring floral festivals. Stroll through the vibrant displays of over 75,000 tulips and 15,000 annuals in full bloom at Corbett Gardens, set against the backdrop of live music, local market stalls, and the joyful energy of Bowral in bloom. It’s a feast for the senses and a highlight of the Southern Highlands calendar, perfect for photography and slow-paced wandering.
Whether it’s the buzz of the bees or the brilliance of the blooms, this seasonal tour offers a perfect blend of nature, learning, and local charm.
This tour is ideal for coach groups, Probus outings, and active seniors looking for an accessible and enriching midweek escape. A minimum of 12 guests is required to run each session. This is a self drive tour. No transfers from the honey to Corbett Gardens are provided.
