Our 7-Day Wildflower Tour with Luxury Outback Tours far exceeded our expectations. Sylvia's local knowledge meant we were able to find and explore the "hot spots" for local flowers, and her adaptability allowed changes to the route to be readily made, and our particular interests to be catered for without difficulty. The scenery was striking and the variety of wildflowers were amazing. It was a thoroughly enjoyable and worthwhile tour.

Sylvia is a great tour guide, very knowledgeable and a very good, safe driver. The wildflowers were amazing and Sylvia certainly knew where to find them. We highly recommend her tour.

We did a 4-day tour, Albany / Margaret River at substantial cost.
I would have given a 4 star rating, but do not think that this tour should be called "Luxury", but more "Personalised". Thx for your effort Sylvia.
We had a good time and saw and learnt a lot on these 4 days.
Some of the lunches were not good and should have been planned better.
Some were brilliant!
Accommodation was good to excellent, but just what I would have chosen, and not be called "luxury" (bespoke).
I am giving a 3 star rating due to your driving skills which are SERIOUSLY lacking.
You drive too fast and aggressive.
Speed limits are not a target! You ACCELLERATE to get to the "target" and slam on brakes to get down to the lower "target".
Your skills going around corners are shocking jerk, jerk, jerk rather than smoothly
You charge into a corner, then slam on the brakes nearly coming to a stop, then realise you are too slow, and accelerate again
The part of taking people on tours is for them to relax and enjoy the trip, especially taken into consideration that driving your guests is a large part of the service you provide.
This was absolutely NOT a good experience and you should consider not doing this any more.

We had a lovely day in Sylvia’s company. She is very knowledgeable and knows all the local wineries. We visited three of them - John Kosovitch, a small family owned winery with a 100 year history, Olive Farm Wines established in 1829, and finally Sandalford’s where we had lunch (delicious shellfish risotto). It was a great day out and we would definitely recommend Luxury Outback Tours!

Sylvia guided us around them, stopping for photos and telling us the best spots. Loads of useful information about Perth and the surrounding areas too.
We called in at the shop, usual tourist stuff plus some beautiful glass ware. Prices not to bad either.
Stopped again for dinner, lovely diner, good choice on menu, and location outstanding. We couldn’t sit outside as it was so busy but the view, well we were literally on the beach ..
All in all we had a great day, and we’re lucky enough to have Sylvia again the following day, where once again we were treated to an amazing Italian lunch.
Very professional, good for banter, easy to get along with, and very conscious of your safety 10/10

I contacted Sylvia prior to the trip and asked if my Mum's walker could be taken with us in the car. I was told that this would be OK as long as the tour did not get fully booked, as it would have to be placed in the back seat (which was reasonable).
Mum and I were very happy with the tour - lovely morning tea with choice of drink (tea / coffee etc.) and choice of cake. As my Mum (90 years old) finds it difficult to walk up or down stairs or slopes, Sylvia checked with my Mum if the proposed venues would be accessible for her. The stops on the tour were enjoyable and we were not rushed at all. Sylvia was also considerate to my Mum, and this helped to make the 1/2 day special!

Hi Rosie119,
Thank you for our awesome review. We did have a terrific time seeing wildflowers, WA's amazing natural features at Esperance, Fitzgerald River National Park, Bremer Bay, Albany. Staying at 5 star accommodation and quirky regional accommodation and a strong emphasis on regional Food and Wine oh so delicious.
I do look forward to having you back on tour for another adventure into the regions of WA. Best wishes.

Great privat Tour, thanks to Silvia we were able to fully enjoy the day with all its attractions. Once the tour has started their is Kind of familliar atmosphäre beginning to rise up. Although that the day might be very stressfull for her she always tries to get you the best possible expierience starting by her asstonishing knowlidge about nearly everything over the Communication and ending with a fantastic lunch. All in all the Tour was an expierience on another Level. Even when you compare it to similar priced tours of for example ADAMS you will notice that these tours are awesome and unique. In October 2016, I was fortunate enough to complete a 7-day tour of the Western Australia’s wildflowers starting in Perth up to Hyden, down to Esperance and then along the coast to Albany before returning to Perth. It was a novice tour from my side primarily to acquaint myself with the wildflowers of WA. The four-person tour was led by Silvia Mills, a fifteen-year tour veteran, who has a lifelong knowledge of the area having spent her youth on a farm near Esperance where she acquired her craft. The party included a highly experienced amateur botanist – his second tour - who along with us, was given an enthralling and detailed account by Silvia of everything we were fortunate enough to view. In the seven-day period, I estimated we sighted between 350 to 400 species of wildflowers and orchards. Words cannot describe the sheer beauty and intricate linkage of each specie, its habitat and how the flora presented itself. Each has a story and part to play in this vast biodiversity that Western Australia is world renowned for. Many a time Silva took us off track to locations that tour busses could not access. Her local knowledge of each plant is staggering and we only had to seek a outside help for two unidentified species. In addition to taking in the wonders of the plant kingdom we also had time to marvel at the features of the region such as Wave Rock in Hyden, coffee at a beach bistro in Cape Le Grand, the stunning great ocean coastline of the Esperance and the gap in Albany. Silvia was a superb hostess always willing to go that extra mile to share her passion and make our tour a unique and memorable one. The Range Rover allowed for comfortable viewing. Accommodation was clean in the 2 to 3 star category which is to be expected in this regional area. Food sourced from local produce. Overall it’s worth the cost and will be a bucket list experience for me. John Baillie Perth WA 24 October 2016.
