  • The Surface Cage: Accessible to all guests, providing thrilling, up-close encounters with Great Whites in their natural habitat. 🌊

Your Action-Packed 4-Day Itinerary

Day 1: Setting Sail & Sea Lion Snorkel

Meet outside the Marina Hotel in Port Lincoln and step aboard our custom vessel. After settling into your cabin and completing safety briefings, we cruise through the scenic Thorny Passage. Stop at Hopkins Island for an enchanting snorkel with playful Australian sea lions before heading to the famous Neptune Islands Marine Park. Enjoy a delicious buffet and an engaging Great White Shark research talk under the stars.

Day 2: First Shark Encounters & Island Exploration

The excitement builds as the surface cage hits the water. Once everyone has experienced the thrill of seeing Great Whites from the surface, qualified divers can descend to the ocean floor. Later, hop in the tender boat to spot New Zealand fur seals and explore the Neptune Islands on foot, keeping an eye out for rare bird species and sea lions.

Day 3: Deepen Your Connection

Spend the day honing your shark identification skills from the surface cage, ocean floor, or observation deck. As evening falls, unwind on deck with a chilled glass of South Australian white wine, listening to the soothing sounds of the local seal colony. 🍷

Day 4: Ultimate Diving & Scenic Cruise Home

Enjoy final dives with no strict time limits, ensuring everyone gets their fair share of underwater magic. At 3:00 pm, we bid farewell to the Neptune Islands. Relax on the bow with premium local wines and a gourmet charcuterie board featuring fine cured meats, cheeses, and fresh fruits, often accompanied by playful common dolphins. 📸

*Please note: The itinerary is indicative only and subject to weather and scheduling conditions.

Our crew will meet you outside of the Marina Hotel, 13 Jubilee Drive Port Lincoln and transfer you and your luggage to the MV Rodney. This is a convenient, but not official meeting space. Please save all of your sharky questions for the Rodney Fox Crew. Luggage cannot be dropped off at the boat earlier than boarding time or be stored at the Marina Hotel.

If you are arriving to Port Lincoln earlier, drop into the Port Lincoln Information Centre at 7 Tasman Terrace. They can provide you with information on things to do in Port Lincoln.

Regional Express and QANTASlink offer a short 40-minute flight from Adelaide to Port Lincoln.
