Day One
We will arrive in the historic country town of Mullewa by midday, where the atmosphere is alive with excitement for the famous Mullewa Muster Rodeo.
This is country Australia at its most authentic.
Spend the day immersed in the energy of the rodeo as cowboys and cowgirls compete in thrilling events including bull riding, bronc riding, barrel racing and steer wrestling. The roar of the crowd, the pounding hooves and the skill of the riders create an electrifying atmosphere that captures the true spirit of the bush.
Beyond the rodeo arena, the muster is a full country celebration. Wander through the grounds where classic Aussie Road trains & trucks are displayed, wood-chopping competitions, Whip Cracking Competition, Country market stalls and local food vendors showcase the culture and hardworking heritage of the region.
As the sun drops over the outback landscape, the celebrations continue with live country music, creating a lively festival atmosphere where locals and visitors gather together under the vast Western Australian sky.
It’s a night of country hospitality, music, laughter and unforgettable outback memories.
Ocean2Outback will proudly host your camping under the stars experience, with swag accommodation.
Day Two
After a relaxed morning wake up, we begin our scenic journey south to Perth, as we explore the turquoise waters that define this spectacular part of Western Australia along the turquoise coast.
We arrive in the fishing town of Cervantes, where the ocean meets pristine white beaches and the famous Western Rock Lobster industry thrives.
Here guests can enjoy a delicious leisurely lunch at the iconic Lobster Shack, where fresh seafood and sweeping ocean views make for a perfect coastal dining experience.
A highlight of our day takes us into Nambung National Park to explore the extraordinary Pinnacle Desert. Rising dramatically from golden sands, thousands of ancient limestone pillars create one of Australia’s most unique landscapes. Walking amongst the formations feels almost otherworldly a truly unforgettable natural wonder.
With the coastal breeze in the air, we continue South to the adventurous seaside town of Lancelin, famous for its towering white sand dunes the largest in Western Australia. Here the fun really begins. You can grab a board and try your hand at sandboarding down the crisp white dunes, an exhilarating experience that feels like surfing on sand, or simply wander the dunes capturing incredible photos of this dramatic landscape.
With cameras full and memories made, we make our relaxed return journey south along the coast, arriving back in Perth in the late afternoon.
This Ocean2Outback journey brings together the best of Western Australia coastal beauty, country hospitality, thrilling rodeo culture and unforgettable landscapes.
A weekend where the ocean meets the outback, and every dusty kilometer tells a story.

Beck was meticulous in plan an itinerary that met my needs and had its own unique element in order to allow me to enjoy the coastal wonders of Perth while sharing her knowledge more about what else awaited me out in WA for when I had more time
Looking forward to planning a bigger trip to check out the many wonders of WA she spoke about.
Beck arranged everything and took me on a personalised 8 day adventure that ticked so many things off my bucket list!
I snorkelled with turtles whilst drifting on currents, swam with amazing multicoloured fish and sting rays, ate incredible food, ran and 4x4’d through pure white sand dunes, walked on amazing beaches, journeyed to Dirt Hartog Island and sampled their gin whilst sitting at their bar literally on their beach, and trekked through incredible bush and canyons.
Everywhere we went, Beck told me stories of the area that explained the history in fascinating detail.
I’m hooked!
I can’t wait to book my next adventure and highly recommend Ocean 2 Outback!
