Paying for your Tour

Once you have booked your tour with your non-refundable deposit, you are not required to make any other payments until your final payment is due 45 days prior to your tour date. You will receive an automated email once your payment is due so you don’t forget. If you wish to make payments sooner or on your own schedule, you can do so via our website payment portal. Once you make a payment, you will receive a receipt within 72 hours. A non-refundable 3.5% transaction fee applies to payments made via credit or debit card.

If you are unsure about optional extras or need additional accommodation before or after your tour, you can let us know later via email.

If you wish to make payment outside of 45 days prior to travel, you may opt to pay via bank transfer by requesting an invoice from our Customer Service and Reservations Team. Customers choosing to pay via bank transfer will still be charged the 2% booking fee, but the 3.5% transaction fee will not apply.

You can find and download the “Ultimate Adventure Travel” app on the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Your Arrival into Auckland

Your epic adventure will start at 6pm on Day 1. We recommend arriving the night before—get in touch if you need help booking extra nights. If you plan to arrive on Day 1, you must arrive in Auckland before midday, otherwise there is a possibility you will miss your tour.

After Your Tour Ends

Your tour will finish on Day 21 in Queenstown. There is no set finish time so feel free to arrange onward travel from this day. If you don’t have set plans, your group leader will be happy to help organise more adventures for you.

Travelling with ULTIMATE — Terms and Conditions

Travelling with ULTIMATE Travel requires a degree of flexibility, good humour and attitude. You acknowledge and agree that participation in our tours is voluntary and that you will comply with our directions and advice while undertaking the tour and for matters related to the tour. You must also comply with all laws and legal requirements while participating in the tour. You agree at all times to act decently and with respect to other participants, suppliers and staff of Ultimate Travel, and to treat the environment with respect.

Your tour includes travel and activities that may involve considerable risks and dangers. Whilst care is taken to ensure your safety, you are personally responsible and liable for your own actions, and we accept no responsibility for injury, damage or losses incurred. At the beginning of your tour, you are required to accept our booking Safety Guidelines, Booking Terms, Conditions and sign our Client Declaration. This document outlines hazards and risks which you may experience during the tour, plus our terms and conditions. You will be asked to sign this document on your first day of the tour.

Travel Insurance

Travel insurance is mandatory for all Group Tours and Packages. We recommend World Nomads for coverage of 150+ activities.
