Spectacular Helicopter Flight and Unforgettable Day in Margaret River We had an absolutely incredible day and can highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting the Margaret River region.

Everything was organised perfectly and ran very smoothly from start to finish. The spectacular helicopter flight along the coast was truly breathtaking and gave us a completely new perspective of this beautiful area.

The wineries we visited were fantastic, and the lunch at Leeuwin Estate was outstanding – great food, wonderful wine and a stunning setting.

A special thank you to Nick and Gus. They were brilliant guides – relaxed, friendly and great fun to spend the day with. They really made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

This was definitely one of the highlights of our trip and a once-in-a-lifetime experience we will always remember.

I had a wonderful experience with Scenic Helicopters. Flying over Margaret River Wineries and taking in all the scenic views was absolutely amazing. We also flew along the beautiful beaches and coastline, which made the experience even more special.

Our pilot, Nick, was fantastic. During the flight, we were lucky enough to spot a shark and a huge group of dolphins, which was incredible. Even though I felt a little scared at first, it was completely worth it, the experience was unforgettable.

I highly recommend everyone try this at least once. 100% recommended!

From the moment we lifted off, the views were breathtaking—sparkling turquoise waters, vibrant coral reefs, and stretches of coastline that looked like they belonged in a postcard. Our amazing pilot Nick, was not only an absolute legend, throughout the whole day, but made sure we got from place to place in good time (even though we were running behind the whole day, LOL 😜 ), and just made our entire day, so incredibly special…

After our special beach stop, we carried on to two more wineries, for private tastings and a degustation lunch, before being flown back to the airfield, and then - even more thoughtful - driven back to our accommodation, also.

The whole day was spectacularly organised; nothing was too much trouble - and we both had the best day of our lives so far…

Fantastic flying adventure. Last Sunday we were so lucky to have an amazing experience with Scenic Helicopters in Albany. Our pilot Jamie took us out to Breaksea Island via the Albany windfarm, the Gap and natural bridge and Bald head. An amazing platter was supplied to have at the Lighthouse. Two hours to explore and take photos and enjoy our platter and drinks. Fantastic experience. Thankyou Scenic Helicopters.

Breaksea island We celebrated our 10 year anniversary in Albany by going to Breaksea island, the weather wasn’t great but the experience was incredible and we highly recommend it. I’m not great when it comes to flying but Jackson and Jamie were fantastic, I felt safe and comfortable. We will definitely do this again, we are hooked. Honestly you will not regret this experience.

Worth it Friendly pilot, nice drive out to airport and the trip its self was absolutely stunning, definitely worth the coin. Go and treat yourself.

We arrived Margaret River air strip and were met by Jackson the owner and Matt the pilot.
Up we went to our first winery Cape Grace Winery, beautiful winery and a lovely experience.
2nd stop Edwards winery, met with a glass of champagne and wine tasting. Beautiful winery with a bi plane as a feature. Great story behind the bi plane.
Next stop Leeuwin Winery. Wine tasting plus a 7 course meal, absolutely superb..
Matt was a great pilot, taking us over the ocean to see humpback whales and dolphins.

Magic Experience Do It !! Barry and Jaxon gave us an incredible experience flying over Coral Bay!! Nothing was too much trouble I wanted to see humpbacks from the air and they made it happen. Their humour and skills were amazing and this was the best helicopter experience we have had!

Fantastic day out! I surprised my wife with transport to and from lunch for our wedding anniversary, Jackson and Angela were amazing to deal with and helped plan a fantastic day out. The team planned a detailed route along the coast so we could take in the most breathtaking views on our way to lunch which included a private wine tasting and semi farm tour at our destination. Then afterwards we detoured past another winery for a tasing on our route home. This is bucket list stuff right here. Thank guys, this will be remembered by us for a long time.

Flight to Breaksea Island and its lighthouse with Scenic Helicopters was the highlight of our trip to Albany. Both the owner, Jackson, and the pilot, David, were very forthcoming, enthusiastic and capable. The flight was smooth, the landings soft, the scenery just spectacular. Being able to land on and explore Breaksea Island and its lighthouse with its keepers cottages was the dream come true for me but I would recommend Scenic Helicopters to anyone who is interested in seeing the beauty of the coast around Albany in one big dose, without making long, tedious trips in the car or walking long distances.

Lighthouse shines I as pharologist, I was thrilled to be able to get to Breaksea island and its beautiful lighthouse. Just when I was about to give up on the whole idea, Carmen from the Albany information centre put me in contact with Jackson, the owner of Scenic Helicopters. The next day, we were off for a thrill ride in the small helicopter for four. To my delight, we were also able to squeeze in the flight over Eclipse island (which also has a lighthouse, of course) and land for 30 minutes or so on Breaksea island. The pilot, David, was very good. He was polite, accommodating and very capable. We had a smooth flight and both landings were perfect. He also told us a bit about the sights that we were flying over. To be able to see both Eclipse and Breaksea lighthouses was the highlight for me but I would recommend flying with Scenic Helicopters to anybody. There is plenty to see along Albany coast to enjoy the flight, whether it is the short trip or one of the longer ones.

ABSOLUTELY MIND BLOWING! Very friendly loved being in the helicopter. The views were amazing. Proved a lot of information about the area. Jackson and Dave were incredible and polite people to be around. ABSOLUTELY recommend and definitely coming back! 🤩

Couldn’t recommend more highly! We had the best helicopter tour day out with the Scenic team. Jackson and the team were just brilliant putting together a tailor made day for us. This included three wineries and an amazing degustation lunch at Leeuwin Estate. Matt our pilot and guide was just great. Even for anyone concerned about flying, it was fairly windy but you would never have known as the whole flight was super smooth. All in all, we couldn’t recommend highly enough.

An amazing flight I can only reiterate what others have already written. What a great way to see the region. The pilot Jackson flew a very smooth flight, with informative commentary. The scenery along the flight path was amazing, with the bonus of seeing a whale with calf. We did the 45 min flight, which went too quickly! A must do if in the Margaret River region.

Only way to see Margaret River My wife and I love helicopter tours, whenever we holiday we take one, so we know good operators when we see them. Scenic are top shelf. Right from our pick up in town Ang was friendly, helpful, and had arrived early so she was waiting for us. Pete, our pilot was professional, happy, and super informative. The wineries long lunch was sublime, what a way to arrive for wine tastings. The views of the Margaret River vineyards and wineries from above were amazing. I surprised my husband for his 40th and he loved it! Was a very easy booking experience with Jackson and Angela, they are very communicative and helpful. The flight was spectacular even though the day was a little overcast and some rain clouds, it was incredible to see the view of the coast line from the air. Jackson even organised a car at Vasse Felix to pick us up from the landing spot and take us to the restaurant, which was a nice touch.
