Our Polycraft boats are incredibly stable, beginner-friendly, and easy to operate, making them ideal for first-time boaters, couples, families, and small groups wanting to experience the island from a whole new perspective. No boat licence is required, and every hire includes a comprehensive safety induction from our experienced local team before departure.
Cruise through the calm waters surrounding Great Keppel Island’s sheltered bays, explore hidden beaches, drop a line for a fish, or anchor up for a quick swim or snorkel. Whether you’re chasing a quick island adventure or simply want a unique way to spend a few hours on the water, the Quickie Hire offers an unforgettable experience at an accessible price point.
Each vessel can accommodate up to 3 persons (maximum combined weight limits apply), with all required safety equipment supplied onboard. Optional extras including bathyscopes, snorkel gear, fishing kits, and eskies are also available to enhance your day out.
Departures operate from Fisherman’s Beach, Great Keppel Island. All hires operate within our designated Polycraft hire zone and are subject to daily weather and sea conditions to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests.

For your Quick Hire session, we kindly ask that you arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time so we can complete your safety briefing and maximise your time on the water.
If guests arrive at the exact session start time, the safety briefing will need to be completed within the hire period itself, reducing your available boating time.
A few things we strongly recommend bringing with you:
- Plenty of fresh drinking water
- Sun-safe clothing and sunscreen
- Towels and swimwear
- Hats and sunglasses
- Snacks or anything else you may need while exploring the island
Please note there are very limited freshwater resources once you head out around the island, so arriving prepared is important for a safe and comfortable experience.
