Amazing Great Ocean Road Tour I had the most incredible experience exploring the stunning Great Ocean Road. This tour was definitely the highlight of my time in Australia.

Mark, our driver and tour guide, was absolutely brilliant. He kept us entertained the entire day with his funny insights and stories. What made it even more special were the little extras—Mark brought us to some amazing spots where we could see wild koalas and kangaroos, which was such a treat!

The route design is very reasonable, with sufficient time allocated for stops for toilets, food, and sightseeing. It didn’t feel rushed or overly tiring, which made the day even more enjoyable.

The day is long, but every moment is worth it. We stopped at so many breathtaking locations, and the scenery was simply unforgettable. To top it off, it was my friend's birthday, and Mark surprised us by bringing a cake—such a thoughtful touch!

This is a tour I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Australia. Thank you, Mark, for making it such a memorable experience!

Great day spent cruising through the Great Ocean Road Its a must-do trip when visiting Melbourne for sure, but its quite a long drive and this tour removes that hassle of driving and allows you to enjoy the beautiful views of the coastal drive through the Great Ocean drive. Our tour guide was really cheerful and showed us wild kangaroos, koalas, and stingrays.
Really enjoyed the tour and I feel the package is worth the price.

Secondly, the view is more than fantastic. The Gibson Step Beach, the Twelve Apostles, Apollo Bay and loads of other attractions are so beautiful. I was totally speechless when I saw the ocean and the cliff. They’re just marvelous.

Thirdly, looking for koalas is a really challenging task but the guide makes it so easy as he continued telling us and pointing where they were. And he provided us a good camera so we could zoom in and took lovely pictures of them. The kangaroos were cute as well. We saw one with her babies eating grass on a golf field with tens of other kangaroos. The scene so quiet and peaceful.

Last but not least, we had got a great afternoon tea as well. He’s elegant and patient when asking us what kind of tea or coffee we wanted and served us a great meal.

By the way, with his high driving skills, the commuting is smooth and the minivan is comfy.

No Regrets, Great Trip! I did a solo trip to Melbourne with my main goal being to explore the Great Ocean Road. From the start, the pickup was smooth and hassle-free (I was picked up at the Immigration Museum), and our group had 13 people including myself. Since the tour wasn’t completely full, there was plenty of room on the bus—perfect for stretching out and enjoying some personal space.

Our guide James was fantastic. Beyond just driving and directing us around the stunning viewpoints, he was genuinely fun to chat with and seemed to really vibe with our group, which was mostly made up of people in their mid-20s. He even went out of his way to grab some "emergency" microwave rice for dinner when things didn’t go as planned—above and beyond! The ride both ways felt completely safe and smooth, and I never once felt uncomfortable.

Overall, I met some amazing people during this 36-hour adventure and would absolutely recommend it to any solo travelers looking to step out of their comfort zones, connect with nature, and enjoy a well-organized trip from start to finish. I couldn’t have been happier with my Melbourne and Great Ocean Road experience!

Gor I loved it, maybe bring a book or something it is a lot of time on the bus but defiantly worth it. Definitely would be fun with friends as well but driver was fun but also informative!

Amazing trip across the great ocean road and beyond.
First, the tour guide Cam made all the difference. He’s the tour guide but also the driver, chef, storyteller and photographer. If he would’ve done more tours we would go no questions asked.
Other than that the minibus was clean and comfy such as the hostel/brewery!

Must do Mark my tour guide was such a legend, very friendly. He drove at such a pleasant pace and always felt informed. Definitely something you can do solo. Feel it is not too rushed and you get all the main points off in the trip. You don’t need to pack food as you stop off in places you can buy some. Mark also took photos on the camera for us to have ourselves, the extra touch.

Amazing experience I went in June/July 2022 and I had thr best time ever. The tour started on time and the driver was very knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. He gave plenty of facts about every place we visited, and even took pictures of me with my phone as I travelled solo. We spotted some koalas too and had lots of fun. Would definitely do this trip again.

Unforgettable day trip out of Melbourne An amazing day trip! Undoubtedly, one of the highlights of my Australian vacation. Great scenery and amazing views, both wildlife and nature, highly recommended to anyone! The concept of tour for backpackers was a great choice, would I have more time I’d take the two days itinerary. Our tour guide Guy was incredible, made the day unique and unforgettable.

Must do, if you don't have a car Guy was a lovely tour guide, we got to see all sorts with very few other people around.
Wild koalas and kangaroos, great views on the 12 apostles and interesting little bits of information form Guy himself.

You must do it ! I had an amazing experience on the Great Ocean Road tour! The pickup was right on time, and the driver drove safely, making the already stunning drive even more enjoyable. The guide was full of cool and insightful information throughout the journey, but I do wish he had a microphone in the car so we could hear him better while driving. A must-do is grabbing seafood in Hope Island—absolutely delicious! The guide also brought along a professional camera and sent us all the photos afterward, which was a thoughtful touch. Was it worth the money? I'd say so! If I could add anything, it would be more conversation during the car ride, with more details about the surrounding area. Overall, a fabulous day!

The perfect self-guided tour We had the most amazing day out with Mark. He was a super useful guide, whilst also letting us explore at various locations on the Great Ocean Road. You have more than enough time at each stop to get off and explore - we never felt rushed. The sights are all breathtaking, and we even had tea & TimTams in Koala land. This tour is a must do in Melbourne!

Tip: make sure to sit on the right side of the bus for the best views

Rainy but wonderful Tour guide was brilliant. It was a really wet day so I didn't gave high hopes for the trip. He took us to an extra stop to a waterfall and we stopped loads to see kangaroos and Koalas. Then we had a nice hot cup of tea to finish off the trip. The guide noticed that I wasn't taking pictures due to my phone being broken to lent me his camera. Couldn't of asked for a better day! Thank you

Awesome Trip Highly Recommend Cam was a fantastic tour guide who went above and beyond. The sights themselves were great and these two days were some of my favorite in my monthlong vacation in Australia. It was also so much fun to be around other young people!

Must Do If In Melbourne This was genuinely one the best tours I've ever been on!! It actually feels more like you're going on a trip with friends, rather than a tour - Raph is absolutely amazing - Super chill and easy to talk to! He was born to be a tour guide! BEST experience with the BEST guide! This was one of the BEST tours I have ever done! Our guide, Cam, was possibly the best tour guide I have ever had, any I have done many, many tours! He was super enthusiastic, high energy, and highly knowledgeable, telling us facts all along the way and finding us secret spots/taking us to the popular spots at less busy times to avoid all the tourists. I felt like we saw everything in the 2 days and Cam really made the experience super fun. Great for those new to Australia as Cam ensured we saw all the big Australian animals - koalas, kangaroos, wallabies and even some penguins! Cam is also a talented photographer and took heaps of photos on his camera so we could keep them all at the end. COULD NOT RECOMMEND MORE - 5* experience and a must for all backpackers visiting Melbourne.

Amazing tour! Cam was an absolutely wonderful tour guide and made us all feel a real sense of togetherness and friendship as well as being incredibly knowledgeable about everything to do with the Great Ocean Road. Cam even cooked us all dinner (we helped out a little) but it was lovely and there was plenty to go around. The tour is fast paced but there’s so much to see! Cam even allowed us to use his 4K camera to take some pictures out and about which was really special and he uploaded them all very promptly which was equally as impressive!

Cam was the best tour guide, the food and hostel was amazing and we made some for me unforgettable memories. This trip has definitely been one of my highlights throughout my travels around Australia. I’ve never had the feeling of being rushed to get to a next stop - for me this is really special as on other tours this has been something I didn’t really enjoy about group tours. Great Ocean Road with 'Raph' The views were great, out tour guide Raph was really cool and made sure we were all prepared for the day and comfortable. Giving us all the info and even taking pictures for us on his own camera which he sent to us the same day. Was an amazing experience even if you go solo as Raph was super social and never allowed anyone to feel left out. Overall was a great day and would highly recommend.

Great Ocean Road trip The view was amazing - the sea side views and the walks around Twelve Apostles' limestone stacks to Loch Ard Gorge. It was a fun experience - we got to see so many wildlife animals. Our tour guide made the trip so much more enjoyable

All in all, a unique and enjoyable experience. This tour was the best thing on the east coast. Was tempted to do this with some mates but we would have missed half the things the guys showed us. The music inside the bus was on point. And it was even my birthday on the day and they went out there way to get me a cake with balloons which really set a good vibe for the whole bus.

Fill your spirit with this trip! The Great Ocean Road is a must-do if you are in Melbourne. To give a disclaimer, it is an all-day commitment. Nevertheless, it is a commitment worthwhile. The scenery is beautiful and breathtaking. My spirit was full seeing the 12 Apostles, Koalas, and Kangaroos. Our driver was full of enthusiasm the entire trip, which is important because half of the trip was in the van! Not to mention, he was extremely patient as I and a few others were late to the bus on a few stops (whoops! When in Australia, am I right?). Overall, this trip is something you will not regret. If you have kids, I would recommend giving them a book to read or something to keep them entertained driving in between destinations. If you are traveling solo, that is fine, too! We had several solo travelers, but by the end, we were all well acquainted. I was in Australia for nearly two and a half weeks and did a lot. However, this was certainly a highlight of my trip. That's how good it was. If you're going to drop some cash, this is where I would do it!

A Trip Worth Wild: Exploring the Wonders of the Great Ocean Road The sights were phenomenal, and the crew (operstors) were amazing! They provided a bice bits of history/commentary, and they ensured that we'd got got our monies worth.

The area we stopped for lunch had a lot of (food and shopping) options, and all the people there genuinely enjoyed each other's company.

Highly recommend going on this tour (even if you're by yourself), as you're bound to engage in plenty of laughter and fun with the crew.

Great tour Great tour. Good group. Well organised doing the reverse route so crowds were really limited in all locations. It’s lots of driving but that’s to be expected! And it’s made fun along the way.

Great Tour with like-minded travellers The tour was great and also super personalized and flexible. Marty asked us whether we wanted to do some additional stops and so we did, even though the weather was very bad at the start of the tour. We saw wild kangaroos, koalas, a lot of cockatoos and galahs, and a kookaburra and of course all must sees along the Great Ocean Road!

Great sights and trip! Amazing trip! Marty, our guide and driver, picked us up from our lodging (see list of available pick up spots). We got to sleep as he drove toward the end of the great ocean road, then we were up for the entire sightseeing tour as we went end-to-front. This way kept us from most of the crowds and traffic. It was great!

We saw so many sights including the twelve apostles and other sandstone structures, koalas and kangaroos in the wild, and enjoyed our time as a group! The bus holds up to 20, but we were a smaller group which was great.

Great tour for solo travelers. Cam was amazing as a guide. He was available at all times for questions or just simply to chat. It was also very fun given that it was a small group and that everyone got to know each other. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone who is traveling solo and wants a personal, tight-knit tour experience.

Unresponssive and uncooperative I left some lost property on the tour - and have been attempting to arrange to get it back. Cam has been unresponsive and completely uncooperative for 3 months!

AMAZING ! The experience was amazing! The guide is funny and has patience. We were able to discover all the emblematic places of the Great Ocean Road, and it’s without regret to have done so with Cameron from Ride Tours aboard his mini bus and in the company of the other students/backpackers. Thank you Cameron for this pleasant and beautiful trip, thank you also for the coffee/tea and the Tim Tam biscuits. The experience allows us to meet some great people and we even have the chance to come across koalas and kangaroos on our way, on which Cameron took the time to stop so that we could admire them.

The BEST Great Ocean Road tour! This tour is a brilliant way to see the Great Ocean Road. We started at the far end in order to avoid the big tours which we did successfully!

Cam was such a great tour guide and driver with so much knowledge on the area and years of experience (especially in koala spotting!)

Cam also brought a camera along to take good quality photos along the way and shared these after in a Google drive which was awesome.

Best day with the best tour guide - ever! If you are thinking of taking a Great Ocean Road tour then 100% for go this one. You start in reverse so the “main” attractions like the Twelve Apostles are a lot quieter and you can get so many great photographs. The mini bus is super comfortable and well ventilated. I am a female solo traveller and highly recommend this to any other solo travelers - you meet so many lovely people because the groups are small and you have a good laugh! Cam made the day extra special and really went the extra mile to give everyone a laugh throughout the day with his “on the mic” action and also his music playlist. We also got enough to stop in each place along the way and it was the perfect mix. Cam will not let you miss out on any of the action and will tell everyone when he spots any furry friends in the trees etc - really really personable and unique!
