great experience best experience ever. did both hot laps and driving laps and both were amazing. amazing day out and highly recommend.

Brilliant - must like cars ! A Christmas present from my wife I had the 4 laps with me driving and two hot laps with the instructor. I did this two years previous so I knew what I was in for. The Instructors and staff were all very good and friendly. On arrival they kit you out, then get a group talk on what to expect and how to treat the car and circuit. Then it's down to the track side and wait in turn for a drive. There were five cars in operation on my day and there' not much waiting and it's good just to absorb what's going on. My instructor Steve was very good (these blokes must be very patient!) and I did my four laps progressively faster each time. I was encouraged to really go for it so long as the braking points were always adhered to - all the time the instructor is talking and giving advice on gear change and braking point. It's quite exhilarating and seems to be over in a flash. My advice is, take a deep breath and go for it, don't be too hesitant as four laps go pretty quickly. I chose a day in May as I didn't want to be too hot whilst kitted out with balaclava and helmet on. If you like cars then this is a brilliant experience and all the staff were very very good. We took a picnic and my wife sat around the track and took photos. A great day out.

Great day out Went to the supercars and supporting events at Barbagallo raceway and enjoyed it emmensely. The venue is run very well organized and professionally run with facilities for all types of motor racing fans . A good day out .

Three days of racing Three days of racing can be expensive for a family
Although it's cheaper to get a three day pass
Having to pay extra for a pit pass
Is so stupid you pay enough to get in
Food really expensive so bring your own as long as you don't mind them checking your bags heading in and heading out
Perth is the most expensive race we have been too
Oh yeah sitting in the grand stand you don't see much so sitting on the hill is ideal and cheaper

Rubbish Went to a race day a few weeks ago in the morning, drivers meeting was well presented that's where it finishes. The car had a fault with the driver to passenger intercom as a result poor instructions, while driving the car around the track to have the brakes applied by the passenger restricting the operation of the car frustrated me. The instructor was indicating to go faster when that did take place as he then applied the brakes and restricted the operation of the car. A large sum of money was paid to participate in the day out only to pay another $50.00 for a USB stick which was suppose to record the events driving it did not work and the function organiser has not indicated they will refund the $ 50.00 for the faulty usb.
In my opinion don't waste $500-$600 for an experience that is extremely floored.

V8 Supercars at Barbagallo Raceway The premier racetrack in Western Australia, Barbagallo Raceway is a great venue with multiple vantage points to watch the racing. On this occasion I was lucky enough to be in the Red Bull Racing corporate hospitality tent where the facilities were very good.

Our waiting staff were on the ball, the food was great and the beer was ice cold - all in all just the way you want to watch V8 Supercars hurtling past you at 250km's per hour! The supporting race's were entertaining especially the drift cars smoking their way round the track very cool indeed.

As with most race tracks, parking was a little slow, but considering the thousands of people all trying to get in all at the same time the parking attendants did a good job.
