12 Apostles, Great Otways & Great Ocean Road Day Tour (8 Person Max)

EXPERIENCE THE 12 APOSTLES & GREAT OTWAY NATIONAL PARK IN OUR SMALL GROUP TOUR.
Our small group (8 guests max) will depart Melbourne and head straight to the famous 12 Apostles before the masses of people arrive. Here we will take a 1km stroll along the boardwalk while appreciating the stunning views of the limestone stacks before continuing onto another spectacular scene, Gibson Steps. We walk down the 70m cliffside pathway to the beach where there is plenty of time to take some incredible photos. Next it’s time for a delicious lunch at our favourite local cafe before we’ll drive through the magical Great Otway National Park and take a short hike through ancient rainforests to one of the Otways’ pristine waterfalls (where the big bus companies can’t go).
Our next stop we will take a stroll amongst the giants of the forest at the Californian Redwoods before continuing along the iconic Great Ocean Road stopping at Apollo Bay for an optional ice cream. Kennett River is next where you’ll get the chance to spot native koalas, king parrots & kangaroos going about their routines. We will take a quick stop in the beautiful town of Lorne where you can walk along the beach or simply grab an afternoon snack before heading back to Melbourne.

Laurinda an Pat were really friendly! Small group tour is a must!

The whole experience was about 13 hours. I got my tickets from Red Balloon, but hide and seek sell their own too.
Amazing views, stops, and experiences. I would recommend anyone that has a spare day in Melbourne to book in with these guys. They provided one of the best memories over my holiday.

Our guide was Marcos who engaged with all the passengers and made sure we saw everything. He was a very kind, safe driver, and knowledgeable learned guide.

It was a car tour in small group (Great Ocean Road) and I was really impressed by the rout and care of our guide
Thanks guys see you!

It is amazing that our mental and physical strength has dropped rapidly from the Pinnacle stone path to the waterfall! Everyone fell asleep on the return trip, but the driver still didn't even yawn!
Also, I met a group of new friends to visit those amazing sceneries!
Besides the CBD, there are many natural landscapes in Melbourne, which are worth visiting!
But have to be attention to the weather forecast before signing up, those sceneries are even more beautiful!
Highly recommend to people who like the natural environment!

The tour tries to avoid the big crowds of tourists, which I thought was great.
I heartily recommend this tour - a great experience

Incredible experience!!

The company was also amazing at sorting out an error I made when booking and I’m very grateful for the way it was handled. Thanks very much and I’ll definitely be doing more trips with Hike & Seek in the future!

And the scenic view was breathtaking.
We walked at a not too fast pace, actually at our own pace
Still we were able to finish all the walks on time
I was particularly impressed by our guide, Shane. He was very helpful and caring.

He made the long drives fun and tried to engage everyone.
The 12 Apostles were a beautiful scene.
The redwoods and waterfall was a nice hike.
The windy roads made me a little nauseous but I get road sickness easily.
We had a 9 passenger van that was roomy and had air conditioning.
Our group was pretty laid back and I felt like we all got a long really well.
The restaurant in Lorne was really good. All had either muscles, scallops or fish. Other options available as well. Price was average for a beach town cafe.
Drawback would be the price of the tour compared to other tours similar to this, almost double.

I would recommend there tours to everyone visiting Melbourne !
Thanks so much,
Sarah

Hide & Seek tour company provided exceptional service from start to finish. Upon arrival, Michael greeted us with a warm welcome and a cup of coffee, and provided us with a detailed itinerary for the day. The tour commenced with a hike to the Big Drift, followed by a stop for a quick bite to eat, and then a hike to the top of Mt Oberon. The day ended at Squeaky Beach, where we were treated to a little safari to see kangaroos, wombats, and emus.
Michael, our knowledgeable guide and smooth driver, added to the experience. He shared his expertise on the environment and ensured we had a memorable time. The group size was small, with a maximum of eight people in a spacious van, which enhanced the overall experience.
The only downside was that Michael was finishing up his last tour for a while, but we highly recommend Hide & Seek tour company for anyone visiting Wilson Promontory National Park. Overall, this tour deserves a 10/10 rating for their exceptional service, knowledgeable guide, and memorable experience.
