Air tour by Kakadu Air and Yellow River croc tour. Liam from kakadu air was our pilot, tour guide and even arranged our lunches. His experience and knowledge of the region was top shelf. Koda at the yellow waters croc cruise is an outstanding young man and tour guide. Humour mixed with knowledge of crocs, his region and his indigenous heritage was very enjoyable. Both young men are no doubt highly valued by their respective employers. This was by far the highlight of our trip to the NT.

Loved it.... Excellent trip and 100% recommend. You get both an aerial view and an on the ground view of Kakadu coupled with an informative tour whilst in the air. The Yellow Water Cruise was excellent (you get up close and personal with the crocs). Lunch was also delicious with plenty of choices.

The flight gave us breathtaking views over Kakadu that you simply can’t appreciate from the ground, and the Yellow Water Cruise was the perfect way to see the incredible wildlife and landscapes up close.

Brilliant day tour by plane of Kakadu We did a day trip on a small plane with Kakadu Air piloted by Cian to Jabiru in Kakadu: we flew out @ 7 am on a scenic tour flying over several rivers, a fire, a mine, several aboriginal communities and the famous loops of the Adelaide River all seen from the air. This was followed by a land tour with a local Jabiru guide, Rodney who was very friendly, helpful and knowledgable. Included was a cruise on the East Alligator River with a local Aboriginal guide, Gleeson who shared his detailed knowledge of First Nations people's use of plants and their diet. It was a really brilliant day. I would recommend it to anyone.

The ONLY way to see Kakadu! Nick was so calm and knowledgeable his experience made the whole trip relaxing and enjoyable - this is the ONLY was to see Kakadu - we were blown away 100% recommend

Brilliant! Just brilliant! Tayler took us for a 45minute flight over Kakadu. Having spent 5 days prior exploring Kakadu we waited until our last day to do the helicopter flight so that we would have an understanding of what we were seeing. It exceeded our expectations and Tayler's commentary was great as was the hovering over some of the areas we had a special interest in. This country is vast and seeing it from the air was brilliant.

A Total Must!! Amazing brilliant. Saw a crocodile, horses and buffalo. Guide was so informative about the area and it was just incredible!!!! I am a scaredy cat when over 2m off the ground and I felt completely safe with the doors off. Just worth every cent!

The only way to see this part of Australia Matt our pilot was great and the trip out took in all the sights and was full of information. So much that would have been missed on the ground. The Yellow Water cruise again was fantastic and the guides were both informative and entertaining. The park we saw was beautiful and so peaceful.Lunch was a big bonus. Delicious and a big choice as well. Highly recommended.

Superb sunset flight This is one of the best ways to appreciate the different landscapes within the park. Our pilot (Cian?) gave us a smooth ride over the stone lands, flood plains and Cahills Crossing, with informative commentary. Seeing sunset from this vantage point was a memorable experience. Kakadu Air We flew out to Kakadu from Darwin (airport) in a twin engine Cessna 204 piloted by Declan. He gave us a very informative and concise commentary of landmarks and the history of the vast vistas we passed over. We landed and went on the Yellow River boat cruise for 90 minutes that was teaming with wildlife and many croc's as would be expected. Lunch and the opportunity of a swim in the pool was provided for a midday break at Barra Bar (Jabaru) restaurant and a visit to the cultural centre before a direct flight back to Darwin. We could not speak more highly of Declan, great host and pilot for the day and represented Kakadu Air with professionalism.

Best way to experience Kakadu - don't hesitate to book! We joined a small group for the cultural tour of Kakadu. Our pilot Declan was great and provided expert commentary during our flight. We landed in Jabiru and our guide Daz was professional, knowledgable and took great care to make sure we had a wonderful experience of Kakadu, the crocs and the Aboriginal culture. It was definitely the highlight of our trip to the Northern Territory and would highly recommend to others. Don't hesitate to book this experience!

Kakadu by air It has been a long time since I had my last scenic flight with Kakadu Air.. I did the 1 hour scenic flight at sunset which was just amazing. The pilot was very informative and flew very save. The view over the Arnhemland Escarpent, the river systems and the flood plains was out of this world and showcase the landscape diversity of Kakadu National Park at its best. Thank you

Exceptional Kakadu Air and in particular the pilot, Myles, were great. The tour was very informative and the landings were as smooth as silk, even on the dirt srip at Cooinda. We had a very nice lunch at the Barra Bar, Cooinda Lodge and a relaxing cruise on Yellow Water, with incedible bird life and more crocs than you could poke a stick at. Exhilarating flight over Kakadu We booked a thirty minute afternoon helicopter ride with Sam as our pilot. Seeing Kakadu from the air gives you another amazing perspective on this incredible land. We thought about the plane ride but the helicopter, whilst more expensive, gives you more maneuverability and much better views as passengers.

Be aware that the helicopters can be flown with out the doors on which might seem strange and disconcerting to some but they can easily be put on if you are nervous about this. We didn’t have them on and the experience was brilliant. Also if you have a phone, camera or go prop putting it on a cord or tie around your wrist or neck will give you more confidence to take loads of photos as you aint getting it back if you drop it!

If you have the means definitely add this to your trip and would recommend you do this at the end of your holiday and after you have seen some of the sights at ground level.

Kakadu by Air Kakadu Air Services Joy Flight was very good with the young pilot commentating all the way. We had the last flight South over Jim Jim & Twin Falls for the season as they begin to dry out. Dry season flights go North & explore the wetlands & escarpment of Ubirr Rock.

A Must do Kakadu experience! We spent 3 days in Kakdu, and took the one hour flight to see it from the air. Our pilot was knowledgeable and friendly. The views over the escarpments were spectacular, as was seeing the expanse of the wetlands.

A great way to see the scale of this national park We were picked up promptly and shared the small plane with another couple. We felt safe as we were propelled into the sky. From this view we could make out how massive and beautiful Kakadu is. A great and informative trip.

Worth the expense Crew and staff friendly and competent. The flights were excellent and narration informative. The ground tour was excellent and included a wide variety of wildlife without artificial prompts.

Beautiful views, great commentary I had a brilliant time on our scenic flight. The pilot (Kenzie?) was fabulous and gave so much information. It was a great tour around the park, seeing sights that were inaccessible as they were subject to seasonal closure (eg Twin Falls and Jim Jim Falls). Unfortunately, the April weather was a bit windy and my two family members suffered motion sickness (so just be aware). However, the company is well prepared for this so it was no drama. If you can the third row of seats probably offers the best, unobstructed views

Amazing View Of Kakadu If you are touring the Kakadu region of the Northern Territory, a scenic flight is a must do activity while in Jabiru.

Kakadu Air offers two options, a 30 minute flight at $150 or a 1 hour flight at $250. And there is no doubt that 1 hour flight is the one you should opt for,

You will see stunning Jim Jim Falls and Twin Falls, Nourlangie Rock, Death Adder Valley, the famous Croc Hotel, the Jabiru township and the Ranger Uranium mine from the air, offering an entirely new perspective of this iconic part of Australia. On my flight, Miles our pilot was both informative and entertaining in his commentary, letting you know along the way what you are seeing and some of the stories behind it, All while smoothly and comfortably flying the plane.

Very much a must do for anybody exploring this magnificent part of Australia.

Five stars! Whole family enjoyed the flight. Our tour guide / pilot was experienced, and very informative about the Kakadu landscape, its origins, the Dreaming and its people. We all learnt so much and were able to see 6 waterfalls. Jim Jim and Twin falls were part of the six we got to see and we were able to take many pics from above.

Sensational flight and cruise Great experience for those short on time to visit Kakadu in a day or wanting an aerial view. Highly recommended with a very pleasant and scenic flight, not to mention the spectacular cruise. Plenty of crocs and birds, all set in an amazing backdrop. The lovely lunch and cultural centre capped a great day off. Not to mention an amazing tour guide/pilot. Just book it!

A great intro to the vastness and remoteness of Kakadu Fabulous 60 minutes seeing the geographic landscape of Kakadu National Park from the air with the fascinating commentary from the pilot. This was our first introduction to the vastness of Kakadu . The cost of the 1 hour flight is very reasonable at $250 . Competent pilot and very knowledgable.

Spectacular way to see Kakadu Fabulous way to see the glories of Kakadu from a different angle, especially if time is somewhat limited. Flight out to Jabiru was accompanied by a knowledgeable commentary, the pilot banking over significant areas to ensure both sides of the plane could see well. Transferred to the ground segment, again with a friendly and knowledgeable guide. Although time in the gallery was a little limited because of air-control delays out of Darwin (beyond the control of operators!), we did not miss the important things - time at Ubirr, fascinating rock art, gorgeous landscapes and the cruise on the river was great. Our Aboriginal guide was friendly and kind, and took great care sharing his culture with us, including language. (Take some cash as locals also do art down at the river.) The packed lunch was fresh, cool (!) and delicious, carefully packed to minimise non-recyclables. Water and sunscreen were constantly on offer in the heat. flight home was smooth, despite the cloudbank, and we were so happy NOT to be facing 3-4 hours in a coach to get back to Darwin. Thoroughly recommend!
