This tour is ideal for school aged kids who love animals. Your guide will introduce our amazing animals in personal hands-on encounters, including a complimentary morning tea, drink, horse ride and access to the VIP area.

Trevena Glen Farm is Brisbane’s Best Family Farm experience! We love to help friends & family connect in a fun safe place.
The farm has horses, ponies, rabbits, chickens, guinea pigs, goats, alpacas, pigs, sheep, donkeys, and a dog.
Our ‘2hr Premium Animal Tour’ includes horse riding and is a fantastic way to meet our animals with the group having their own tour guide. This tour lets you spend more time with the animals you really enjoy. Suitable for ages 4yrs and up. (Group discounts available) Things you might do on your tour:
(1) Grooming, leading and riding (dependent on weight) and leading our donkeys.
(2) Help to move or walk sheep and/or goats.
(3) Learn to lead our Alpacas on an extended walk around our farm
(4) Brush/wash our horses, lead them on a walk, and plait their manes (seasonal)
(5) Collect vegies from our garden, and feed/interact with our rabbits
(6) Pet, and feed our piggies
(7) Cuddle, groom and (sometimes) wash our guinea pigs
(8) Feed hens as well as collect eggs
(9) Collect your horse, saddle, and have a led horse ride around the farm for each participant (if requested). Riders must be aged between 3 and 65 and weight no more than 85kg (we have limitations on the availability of large horses for riders over 60kgs).
(10) Enjoy our complimentary drink and access to our VIP areas
We are closed on Sundays. Please contact us if a session is not available on a date and time that you would like to visit – we are often able to add sessions on request. A ‘2hr Premium Animal Tour (incl. horse ride)’ must be purchased for each attending adult, as children under 10yrs must be supervised. Please book a ticket for everyone in your group 2 years and over. A cheaper adult ticket is available for those not wanting a horse ride and complimentary tea/coffee. Prices on the website are for tours booked 8 hours or more in advance.
Please note: Tours and experiences that run on a public holiday will incur a 15% surcharge. Please note that all Private tours require a minimum of 3 people on these days for the tour to run so booking less numbers than this will be priced accordingly (to the 3 people minimum price).

Our onsite cafe offers barista coffee, chai, hot chocolate, cold drinks and snacks. Open select hours (please see website or contact for details).

I searched high and low for a kid friendly hobby and found this little gem. After my initial email of enquiry it was suggested that I booked a personal tour, this did cost a little more but the lovely guide was able to customise our tour to Mr 12's interests (pigs) and she was very understanding and patient when I said that the bigger animals were a bit of a source of anxiety. My son is currently wheelchair bound and every single staff member went out of their way to accommodate him, from the young lady at the cafe to our loving and caring guides.
Very understanding staff who love to work here.
Although I think this might be suited more for younger children the three of us still really enjoyed our time out here today.

We took our two grandkids to the farm today and we were blessed with wonderful weather.
The kids had a ball visiting all the animals and had the chance to pat and feed many animals. A highlight was the guinea pigs and our grandson loved holding and feeding them.

My friend and I had a private tour with Bryce, he was very personable and knowledgeable. We were lucky enough to hold baby guinea pigs, baby chickens and walk a lama. We highly recommend visiting the farm as it's enjoyable for young and old.

We did the private 1 hour animal tour for our daughter’s 3rd birthday and wow it was such a beautiful experience! We were guided by Bryce and he was so fantastic and knowledgeable, he was so patient and kind with our 3 year old- he made the tour so much fun and had a great sense of humour! We can’t wait to come back again! ☺️

We spent 2 wonderful days at the farm! A specially arranged horse riding session for my 8 year old. And a 3h private tour. The guide (Suz) and riding instructor (Ally) were so friendly and warm. Suz in particular was lovely, answering our incessant questions and her enthusiasm and love for the animals was contagious! The animals were adorable and we got to go up and personal with almost all of them. They were obviously well cared for and clean. Truly a wonderful experience! Well done Liz and your team for making Trevena glen such a haven for animals and kids (also big kids like me!) alike.

BRILLIANT!! Absolutely brilliant day. We visited for my daughters birthday and she was involved in preparing animal feed, walking animals, moving animals to different areas of the farm, feeding them and horse riding. Bryce was our tour guide for the 3 hour private tour and allowed us to do as much or as little as we liked. We loved all the goats, sheep, alpacas, donkeys, horses, rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs and of course Freckles the pig. Bryce is a lovely, personable, mature, responsible and friendly young man. He was very knowledgeable and very patient with the oodles of questions my daughter had and waiting for my 80yo Mum to keep up with us walking all over the farm. We chatted the entire time and nothing was too much trouble for him. Such a wonderful young man of only 18yo and Trevena are lucky to have him. All the staff were extremely friendly and the views over Mt Glorious are stunning. The suggestion to stop at Lake Samsonvale on the way home to watch the sunset was the perfect way to end the day.Highly recommend a visit to Trevena if you love animals. 10/10 from us!

Best family morning out ever! If I could rate it higher I would. Amazing! Return visitors here. We have both school excursions in the past and a general admission today. This place feels so relaxed and welcoming. We spoke to several staff today during our visits and every single person from the cafe to our tour (thank you Lily) and just generally walking around was so friendly. One of the staff even simply walked up to us to ask if we needed anything and how we were enjoying our visit. I forget her name but I found out during our conversation she was new to the team, she was so friendly and welcoming! Everything runs so well with minimal wait times between attractions even on a Saturday! Thank you all so much we will be back very soon for another relaxing morning out!read moreread less

Wonderful farm, happy animals, great staff: 10/10 We took our two kindy classes on an excursion to Trevena Glen farm for the day, and it was just the best experience from beginning to end. What a beautiful farm in an idyllic location!The facilities were well set up to accomodate our group (35 kids and about as many adults because of our keen parent helpers), including a fenced eating area and plenty of taps to wash little hands. We had animal experiences which included feeding and/or patting some goats, an alpaca, sheep, rabbits, chickens, pigs and guinea pigs, and brushing the mane and body of a gorgeous little horse.
The animals were obviously well cared for, and for many children this was their first (but very memorable) experience up close with these gorgeous, calm creatures. The three farmers who took our three groups around did a fabulous and age-appropriate job of drawing the children’s attention to the ways animals were getting what they needed in the way of food and water and care, and the different shelters and enclosures each animal had which gave them space to roam and play and enjoy the sun and pasture. You’ve never seen a group of four year olds so engaged and calm and happy.
It was a perfect experience, ran like clockwork, the staff were so warm and friendly, and the views of the surrounding hills and mountains was breathtaking. As a teacher I’ve been on lots of excursions in my time but this was by far the most memorable, and the children have been sharing so many wonderful learnings and experiences from the day with enthusiasm- and it’s inspired lots of extensions of this learning in their play back at kindy since.
Thanks Jeanine and the rest of the team for such a great day out! Oh I can’t believe I almost forgot to include the tractor ride- which was a big hit with kids and adults too!

I could not have loved this place more. My son and I did a 3 hour private tour and we got to spend time with all of the animals with our own private guide. My son rode the donkey. We walked the alpacas and both rode horses. Cuddled guinea pigs and chickens and pat a bunny. Saw an egg in the incubator starting to hatch and all the baby chick's. Fed the pigs. Brushed the goats. Pat a sheep. They also have the grandest tree turned into a treehouse/playground. The place just felt so warm and loved and just beautiful with the mountains behind it and the staff were all wonderful. Particularly our guide Suzie. Well worth the experience and I can't wait to go back and do it again. Getting up close with the animals like that is like therapy! Even my 8 year old said it was a 10 out of 10 and we may need to get some guinea pigs of our own now.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Trevena Glen Farm. My boys had the time of their lives. My oldest hasn’t stopped talking about the pony ride and walking Honkey the Donkey, such a unique and memorable activity. The tour was perfectly tailored for kids, engaging and fun without being overstimulating. The animals were so well cared for, and it was wonderful to see the boys interact with them in such a hands-on way. We’ll definitely be back again. Great family farm trip Our tour guide Ben was very friendly and patient. We enjoyed meeting all the different animals. Walking the alpacas was definitely a highlight and my 4yo daughter loved her pony ride. The cafe staff were friendly and it was great to be able to buy drinks and ice blocks on such a hot day. Purchased a 3hr animal encounter experience for me and my friend for her birthday. We were fortunate enough to be the only two for our tour. Our guide -Ally I think?- I’m so sorry I forgot her name! :(( but she was amazing!! So easy to chat to, welcoming, funny and very knowledgeable! We enjoyed getting to hold, pat and brush a range of animals including goats, rabbits, and horses (got to ride horses too!) we also got to see a heap of other animals. We also got a yummy afternoon tea snack and coffee- a nice touch! The farm is gorgeous and the surrounding scenery is beautiful. I would highly recommend! Thanks team at Trevena Glen Farm!

Great family day out We had a fantastic time at Trevena Glen Farm with our 5 and 2 year Olds. We did the personal 1 hour tour and our guide was fantastic. She answered all of our 5 year Olds questions (and there were alot) and also kept our 2 year old interested in the tour. Our kids got to pat, feed, brush, ride and hold so many different animals and loved them all. We also added a pony ride which our two year old decided she wasn't going to ride the horse. She had such wonderful patience with a toddler. Leo got to pat the donkey, feed the pigs, alpacas & goats, hold the softest sweetest chicken and brush the guinea pigs. He was most excited to see the tractor! It was a lovely morning outing - all the staff were friendly, I was impressed by the on-site cafe and the farm is well set out for kids. Wonderful Farm experience What an awesome place to visit. This is our second time. Everyone who works there is lovely and all the animals are so well looked after and spoiled. support this amazing family business with MANY things on a farm to learn and enjoy - these were enjoyed the most - Horse riding,
HUGE tree house,
learning about farm animals and how they are cared for,
The "laughing donkey" and the process of getting our tickets and group booked was SO easy!
They are busy doing a mini train track - which I HOPE will be finished soon.
one thing my 4yr old noticed and he asked me on the way home - "Where the cows on the farm mommy?"
The group enjoyed all the animals, playing and climbing and holding the chickens - hope to have some more animals when the train comes in and more people support this amazing family business.
We NEED more places liek this for the family to go in the holidays thats for sure.

We celebrated our daughters 5th birthday on Saturday. The kids had an absolute ball! The staff were amazing & the animals were a big hit! Had my child’s 3rd birthday here today in the party barn and the staff from start to finish were extremely attentive and accommodating. We weren’t sure if some kids would be able to make it as they have chronic health conditions and the team were so understanding with final numbers. Thanks so much guys definitely going to come back.

What a special day! We had booked a personal tour and although it was pouring with rain, we were able to visit all the animals undercover. Suzanna was a great tour guide and the coffee and hot chocolate we ordered from the cafe afterwards was delicious. We highly recommend Trevena Glen Farm and hope to be back again soon.

Fantastic activity for Miss 6 on the school holidays. Enough to do without taking up the whole day. Very knowledgeable staff with great attitudes towards the kids (and this big kid ????).

We booked a 3hr farm experience and had a wonderful time. Liz was so accommodating with our eagerness in exploring all the animals. My 1st horse ride in 30 years and my grandsons 1st horse ride ever. Just had my daughters 1st birthday here and everyone had an absolute amazing time!! The party garden was very big it accommodated 30 children plus some little babies and a lot of adults. We were also able to have soft play and hire a pizza truck. The kids were very happy they got to ride horses, feed pigs and hold the guinea pigs. Hands down fantastic! Big thank you to both Liz and Susi for making our Trevena Farm adventure with our 3 year granddaughter pretty special. We booked a pony ride and an hour private tour of the farm. Our little person’s first attempt at the pony ride ended not happily but then along came Liz with her kind heart and infinite patience next thing we knew our little girl was enjoying a ride on beautiful Thor.
Then the fun really kicked up a gear with gorgeous sparkly Susi who took us on an hour long private tour to meet all the animals. Our little person and Susi had a such a wonderful rapport, was so good to see. There were loads of beautiful animals to meet, hold and feed. They all looked happy, well cared for and loved. ️
The farm is located in beautiful countryside amongst rolling hills, just lovely. And that enormous 100+ year fig tree with its treehouse/playground amongst it’s branches was just fabulous!

A great day out. Farmer Pete was so patient with the group and shared so many bits of info with us. The kids enjoyed the tour and the animals.

A great afternoon out! We brought a group of gorgeous Intellectually Disabled adults to Trevena Glen farm and we had a fabulous day! We chose the 3hr animal tour and got to wash miniature horses, lead Alpacas and a Llama, feed Guinea pigs, rabbits, donkeys, sheep, chooks, 2 hilarious pigs (Thanks Peppa and Freckles for some great belly laughs) and had a short horse ride. Afternoon tea was included with a drink, fruit, cake and pikelets with jam.We were so lucky to have Peter for our guide. He made our guys so comfortable and they loved him. He used to be a teacher and he must have been the most fun teacher ever!) The ladies helping us with the horses we're lovely. The staff are experienced with disability, and happily chatted away with all nof us. We will definitely be back, and will be bringing our Grandkids up as well. Thanks to all at the farm.

My partner and I had the best time!
They had good facilities and their morning tea was delicious!
Pete was our tour guide. He was very informative and made me feel comfortable riding a horse. It was the best morning. You can tell that they love and care for their animals!

Excellent Activity For All Ages This is the 2nd time I have visited the farm with my grandson who is 3. We love it, we did the 1 hour tour as this is enough with just the 2 or 3 of us. He also had the pony rides before & after the tour as he lives horses/Ponies. The tour is tailored for you which is perfect, from walking the Lama’s, spending time with the small animals & feeding the pigs. Our personal guide was Jade who was great with our grandson & very knowledgeable about all the animals.
We will go again in a year or so time when he visits again. By then hopefully the cafe will be open as this will be a great addition to the farm experience.

Great fun for the little humans We did the 1 hour guided tour, shown around by Mia.Mister 3 loved being able to touch some of the animals (the ones he wasn’t fearful of).
Hopefully next time we visit the farm, he will be more open to the bigger animals.

Pre booked a personal tour that my 6 year old loved. Chloe was our guide, she is so kind and patient and while I was freaking out she stayed calm. She was amazing. Was fantastic to get up close to the animals and experience them. Had an amazing ride on the horse with beautiful views. Heaps of parking, playground/ treehouse for the kids, bathroom, park benches and tables.

School Trip to the Farm It is always a pleasure to visit Trevena Glen Farm. The Prep children enjoy feeding and holding some of the animals. The experience with looking at the magic eggs is always great fun. Meeting Freckles and Peppa is amusing, and the children loved hearing about the antics of the two pigs. Learning about the donkey cross and what animal products are used for was enlightening. Best of all was the tractor ride while looking for things on the farm. We will defiantly be going back.Thanks Trevena Glen.

Fantastic Interactive Farm Fantastic outing with my grandson. My grandson is just 3 years old & loves Ponies. I booked him a 15 minute pony ride & we had a 1 hour personal tour.
Highly recommend a visit. Not a large farm but there’s enough, we got to really interact with the animals inc taking the Alpaca’s for a walk.
Megan our guide was fantastic with my grandson & the animal.
I’ll definitely be taking him again.

⭐️⭐️⭐️ A truly pleasant experience! Highly recommend the 1-Hour Personal Tour. Our guide (sorry I forgot her name), she is really sweet and she provided an enjoyable tour around the farm, introducing us to all the furry residents. We get to feed the rabbits, guinea pigs with freshly plucked kale, walked the alpacas, and fed the other horses, goats and pigs as well. A scenic short horse ride is also available for booking online! Beautiful farm!

Did the three hour tour with my friends. Was such a wholesome day! Got to know and interact with some great animals and our tour guides were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Beautiful view and sunset too! Definitely recommend if your looking for a fun day out with your animal loving friends.

Had a wonderful tour of the farm with our two and five year old kiddies. Our guide Alex was friendly and full of information about the animals, and was great with the little ones. Our five year old also had a pony ride which she loved. The farm is clean and very well kept, the animals all serm happy and well cared for. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend a visit to this lovely farm! Peter took us on our tour and was so patient with the our little guy that was a wee bit scared of animals.
