Day 1 – Arrival in Broken Hill

  • Arrive into Broken Hill

  • Check into your accommodation (included)

  • Enjoy a hosted dinner experience at award-winning restaurant.

  • Tour briefing and preparation for departure the next day.

Day 2 – Broken Hill → Lake Eyre → Marree

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the hangar at Broken Hill Airport for departure.

Your scenic flight journey begins over the red dunes of the Strzelecki Desert, before reaching your first highlight:

  • Lake Frome – vast salt lake with incredible natural patterns

  • Track across the Flinders Ranges

  • Stop at Leigh Creek (fuel & comfort break)

  • Fly over the Marree Man – one of the world’s largest geoglyphs (2.7km long)

  • Visit the stunning Painted Hills

You’ll then land at William Creek:

  • Enjoy lunch at the iconic William Creek Hotel

  • Time to relax and soak in the outback atmosphere

After lunch:

  • Scenic flight across Lake Eyre – witness its immense scale and ever-changing colours

Arrive into Marree:

  • Check into the historic Marree Hotel

  • Enjoy an included dinner and relaxed evening

Day 3 – Marree → Flinders Ranges → Broken Hill

  • Breakfast at Marree

  • Depart via scenic flight south through the Flinders Ranges

  • Fly over Wilpena Pound, a natural amphitheatre millions of years in the making

Return to Broken Hill, concluding your experience.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Bookings: A 30% deposit is required to confirm your reservation. Balance is to be paid 21 days prior to departure. Payment can be by cheque, cash, direct bank deposit or selected credit cards ( incurs a transaction fee) Cancellations: Please make all bookings with care. All cancellations will incur a cancellation fee of a least 30% of the full tour fare. If you cancel within 21 days of departure a cancellation fee of 75% will be charged. If you cancel within 14 days of departure a cancellation fee of 100% will be charged. Notice of cancellation must be received in writing to Tri State Safaris. Company Risk Policy: Upon booking, passengers accept that tours may include activities which may involve certain risks and dangers beyond our control. This includes, but is not limited to, activities such as bush walking, swimming and travel in remote areas. Your guide will make every effort to keep to the timetable and the itinerary. Tri State Safaris reserves the right to change our times and itineraries, without refund, due to the abnormal extremes of weather, road closures, emergency incidents or other exceptional circumstances beyond our control, to ensure the safety of passengers. This includes, cultural, seasonal flooding, or bad weather conditions including excessive rain or heat. If it is necessary for us to cancel the tour prior to commencement due to rain, road closures, mechanical issues or other unforseen circumstances a 30% cancellation fee will be charged. If it is necessary for us to cancel the tour after its commencement because of conditions outside of our control, no refund will be provided to its participants. Any expenses incurred because of a delay beyond our control shall not be our responsibility. This is why we highly recommend full travel insurance to all of our passengers and tag-alongs.
