WEATHER If the weather is uncomfortable to travel to or from Moreton Bay Marine Park, we will dive the ex-HMAS Brisbane as an alternate location. You will receive a refund based on the difference between a 3 dive trip to Moreton Bay Marine Park and a double dive on the ex-HMAS Brisbane. If the weather is unsafe for both locations, the trip can be transferred to another date or a full refund will be provided – it is your choice. Keep in mind that unless we cancel, you can’t cancel. So it’s a very good idea to not book a week or more in advance if you’re concerned about diving when it’s raining or when the wind speed is greater than 5 knots. ONSITE CANCELLATION OF DIVE DUE TO UNSAFE WEATHER You can choose from one of the following options: 1. Full refund for any uncompleted dives 2. Store credit for any uncompleted dives 3. Transfer to another date at no charge COMPLETING MANDATORY ONLINE WAIVER You understand and agree to receive the discount for applying a promo code (only for online bookings), every diver you book for must complete a waiver by visiting: https://waiver.smartwaiver.com/v/scubawaiveronline by 4PM the day prior to the dives. TRANSFER DATE/ CANCEL IF MEDICAL IS PROVIDED $15 admin fee. The medical certificate must be issued as a result of an in-practice visit to a GP. Online medical certificates are not accepted. TRANSFER DATE/ CANCEL IF MEDICAL IS NOT PROVIDED – OUTSIDE OF 24 HOURS If the trip is FULL each diver will be charged the price of a seat on the boat If the trip is NOT FULL each diver will be charged a $50 administration fee TRANSFER DATE/ CANCEL IF MEDICAL IS NOT PROVIDED – INSIDE 24 HOURS You will be charged the price of a seat on the boat. FAULTY EQUIPMENT Your personal equipment If you require any piece of back up equipment Scuba World can provide this onsite. You will be charged the standard dive charter hire fees. If you require any equipment repairs. A Scuba World service technician can provide this onsite. Minimum charge is $10 for the first 5 minutes. Ongoing costs are $1.50 per minute. Scuba World rental equipment Provided with a free alternative piece of working equipment at no charge. If this cannot be provided a full refund will be given for any dives not completed RENTAL EQUIPMENT REPLACEMENT PRICES If you hire a piece of Scuba World equipment and you lose or break it the following prices will be charged to your credit card and an invoice will be emailed to you. BASIC TORCH – $130 SOLA TORCH – $500 WEIGHT BELT – $50 INTEGRATED WEIGHT POUCH – $35 LEAD WEIGHTS – 3LB – $7.50, 6LB – $15, 10LB – $25 MASK – $50 SNORKEL – $30 FIN – $100 BOOTS – $30 REGULATOR – $500 WRIST COMPUTER – $200 BC – $400 WETSUIT – $200 SHARKSKIN VEST – $120 LATE ARRIVAL If you arrive more than 30 minutes after the scheduled arrival time the following applies: If the boat was full no refund will be provided, however you’ll be provided with a standby voucher (50% off your next trip) for a double dive to the ex-HMAS Brisbane valid for 12 months. If the boat was NOT full, you will receive a full refund for your dive charter less a $50 administration fee. MINIMUM NUMBERS We guarantee departures on Saturday, and Sunday to the ex-HMAS Brisbane. So if you are the only person booked, we will still run (weather permitting). We plan dive trips on other days however we require a minimum of four divers to run on these days. This weight limit is in place for our customers safety in the event of a unconscious diver rescue.
